'THINGS' HAPPEN BECAUSE WE CONTINUE IN OUR ERRS...

We ought to prompt the soul to look to God continually for grace, that by his Holy Spirit we may mortify the deeds of the body, and live in holy conversation and godliness---

MANY are the repercussions for our errs, and while we cling to being, automatically, forgiven for them, it displeases *GOD* when we CONTINUE on the same rocky roads HE found us on; HE forgave us for our PAST sins, and BIDS us to exist, now, conscientiously, and aware of being led into err; NOT that we can be perfect in doing so, but that we TRY, means everything TO HIM, and to our relationship WITH HIM! Also, that we confess, and repent, AS we aim to IMPROVE!!!

It gets REALLY bad when over half of the world is existing in ways which work against *GOD*, and what is right! When we are lewd, arrogant, overly confident, and favour the flesh OVER the spirit, THERE IS GOING TO BE consequence! These appear in diverse forms, from illnesses, diseases, deadly storms, earthquakes, wildfires, and much, much more...

INSTEAD of invoking THE LORD'S FAVOUR, most invoke HIS anger, HIS WRATH; which has various beginnings, and endings! HE WILLS that ALL TURN TO HIM, and HE SHALL HUMBLE whom HE so chooses to, in whatever way HE has deemed effective for said individual, or groups!!!

Again I say, WHAT sense does it make for us to CONTINUE in our errs WHEN we have put to death the world, and it's ways? Now, for sure, the evil one of this realm WILL tempt us, test us, try us, and cause us to stumble, and trip, but we FIGHT the urge to be TRAPPED by all this, IN THE NAME OF *GOD*, LEARNING all the while from what intends to enslave us to what is wicked, all over again! We CAN YET fall into the pit, ya' know, IF we DECIDE that perhaps we are safe in making wrong choices; which IS arrogance, and over-confidence in our BLESSEDNESS; which is NOT fitting of our CALLING...

Listen, it IS a two way deal; *GOD* OFFERS SALVATION, and LIFE, we ADHERE TO HIS WILL! NO!, we WON'T be ideal in our ways, but that we study, learn, and utilize HIS instruction, bit by bit, LEADS us, PROTECTS us, and KEEPS us ON THE PATH!!! 

EZEKIEL 9: 10...
"But as for Me, My eye will have no pity nor will I spare, but I will bring their conduct upon their heads."

The slaughter must begin at the sanctuary, that all may see and know that the Lord hates sin most in those nearest to him. He who was appointed to protect, reported the matter. Christ is faithful to the trust reposed in him. Is he commanded by his Father to secure eternal life to the chosen remnant? He says, Of all that thou hast given me, I have lost none. If others perish, and we are saved, we must ascribe the difference wholly to the mercy of our God, for we too have deserved wrath. Let us still continue to plead in behalf of others. But where the Lord shows no mercy he does no injustice; he only recompenses men's ways.

JAMES 5: 14-16...
14+++Is anyone among you sick? Then he must call for the elders of the church and they are to pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; 
15+++and the prayer offered in faith will restore the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up, and if he has committed sins, they will be forgiven him. 
16+++Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another so that you may be healed. The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much. 

In a day of affliction nothing is more seasonable than prayer. The spirit is then most humble, and the heart is broken and tender. It is necessary to exercise faith and hope under afflictions; and prayer is the appointed means for obtaining and increasing these graces. Observe, that the saving of the sick is not ascribed to the anointing with oil, but to prayer. In a time of sickness it is not cold and formal prayer that is effectual, but the prayer of faith.  

The great thing we should beg of God for ourselves and others in the time of sickness is, the pardon of sin. Let nothing be done to encourage any to delay, under the mistaken fancy that a confession, a prayer, a minister's absolution and exhortation, or the sacrament, will set all right at last, where the duties of a godly life have been disregarded. To acknowledge our faults to each other, will tend greatly to peace and brotherly love. And when a righteous person, a true believer, justified in Christ, and by his grace walking before God in holy obedience, presents an effectual fervent prayer, wrought in his heart by the power of the Holy Spirit, raising holy affections and believing expectations and so leading earnestly to plead the promises of God at his mercy-seat, it avails much. The power of prayer is proved from the history of Elijah. In prayer we must not look to the merit of man, but to the grace of God. It is not enough to say a prayer, but we must pray in prayer. Thoughts must be fixed, desires must be firm and ardent, and graces exercised. This instance of the power of prayer, encourages every Christian to be earnest in prayer. God never says to any of the seed of Jacob, Seek my face in vain. Where there may not be so much of miracle in God's answering our prayers, yet there may be as much of grace.

Of course, the last thing Satan wants you to do is examine yourself to see if you are living a life worthy of God. He’d rather you blundered through life like a drunken pirate on high seas...

But we MUST examine ourselves, OFTEN; for we ARE endangered at every turn BY our shortcomings!

2 CORINTHIANS 13:5...
Test yourselves to see if you are in the faith; examine yourselves! Or do you not recognize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you-- unless indeed you fail the test?

Though it is God's gracious method to bear long with sinners, yet he will not bear always; at length he will come, and will not spare those who remain obstinate and impenitent. 

Christ at his crucifixion, appeared as only a weak and helpless man, but his resurrection and life showed his Divine power. So the apostles, how mean and contemptible soever they appeared to the world, yet, as instruments, they manifested the power of God. Let them prove their tempers, conduct, and experience, as gold is assayed or proved by the touchstone. If they could prove themselves not to be reprobates, not to be rejected of Christ, he trusted they would know that he was not a reprobate, not disowned by Christ. They ought to know if Christ Jesus was in them, by the influences, graces, and indwelling of his Spirit, by his kingdom set up in their hearts. Let us question our own souls; either we are true Christians, or we are deceivers. Unless Christ be in us by his Spirit, and power of his love, our faith is dead, and we are yet disapproved by our Judge.

Another day, we LEARN THE WAY; it IS PLEASING TO THE LORD *GOD* ALMIGHTY that we ARE diligent, deliberate, and ever seeking to become more like HIM, body, heart, mind, and spirit! Even though we WILL falter, IF we REMAIN IN HIM, HE WILL REMAIN IN us, AND LEAD us past ourselves, the world, and it's damaging, dangerous ways!!!

HALLELUJAH! PRAISE THE LORD, WORSHIP HIM, REJOICE IN HIS LOVE, BE THANKFUL, HONOUR HIM ALWAYS, and IN ALL WAYS, LOVE AS HE HAS LOVED, PRAY, PRAY, PRAY, and KEEP HIM IN SIGHT, WHILE SHINING OF HIM!!!

DON'T hang onto the old self, for IN CHRIST JESUS, you have been made anew; THIS has MUCH involved, and is NOT a license to continue as before! ONLY with KNOWLEDGE, WILL there be understanding AS WELL AS the NEW INCLINATION TO SEE with eyes unveiled! STUDY, LEARN, EMBRACE, and UTILIZE HIS WILL, HIS WAYS, HIS WORD, and it SHALL BE WELL WITH YOUR SOUL! PRAISE HIM ALWAYS!!!

One more thing, do NOT trust in time, for time is like a joke for those who count on it, or trust in it OVER *GOD*, BECAUSE *GOD* IS IN CONTROL OF TIME, and that means OUR time on this Earth! It is foolish to imagine that time is on our side, as we have NO idea WHEN our time will end! Time IS a GIFT, and like all GIFTS, ESPECIALLY FROM THE LORD, should NOT be taken for granted, or abused, or misused...
