ALWAYS EXPECTING, EVER DEMANDING, BUT GIVING LITTLE, IF ANYTHING...

Ah, the strangeness of this world makes for strangeness in the people who align to it; always smug in their free will, sure of their own prowess, arrogant to everyone, and everything, including HIM WHO CREATED them---

EVEN some who say they believe in, and FOLLOW THE LORD, seek ways to HONOUR HIM void of honesty, sincerity, or with any credible intent, instead, they seek ways to further themselves with their lip-service, or feigned offerings, yah, basely hoping to appease HIM in their false ways...

THE LORD *GOD* ALMIGHTY WILL NOT be mocked, and HE KNOWS whom is sincere, or not; though HE STILL allows ALL TO TURN TO HIM in TRUTH, and SPIRIT, HE DOES remind us, discipline us, and show us OF HIS SOVEREIGNTY, and HIS WILL!!!

MANY question HIS severity, but since HE IS ALL POWERFUL, why does it shock anyone? And, since HE IS FATHER, why would discipline NOT be part, and parcel TO HIS WILL? There is NO sense in questioning HIM concerning HIS fairness, for HE IS WISE, and LOGICAL, far beyond our limits! ONLY HE IS HOLY, and RIGHTEOUS, and this HE SHARES WITH us, IF we come to HIM FOR REAL! All those who TRY to manipulate HIM, or HIS WILL, well, there is laughter in THE HEAVENS, and probably sorrow that they cannot get over themselves...

REMEMBER, *GOD'S* thoughts are not our thoughts, nor are our ways HIS (ISAIAH 55: 8), which particularly points to errs, or sins, as well as our ways, interpretations, and on it goes! PRECISELY the point OF HIM teaching us, and leading us INTO HIS WILL!!!

*GOD* IS AMAZINGLY GOOD, yet HE IS THE LORD, and will NOT be made into something mere! HIS PROMISES HAVE ALWAYS INCLUDED BLESSINGS, and curses; it is simply, the strangeness humans exist in which would deny this TRUTH...

It IS FOR our sake, and good THAT HIS WILL exists, and yah, we HAVE free will which allows us to ACCEPT IT, or not, but in the meantime, HE SHALL let it be known WHO HE IS, and WHY it is THE most optimal decision of your existence to TURN TO HIM, WITH an OPEN heart, and mind, VOID of the fake sacrifices which are only presented in hopes of getting what is wanted...

We exist to PRAISE HIM, to WORSHIP HIM, to SERVE HIM, and to HONOUR HIM in ALL our ways, as we fear HIM, obey HIM, and LOVE HIM wholly; this is HOW we give HIM HIS DUE GLORY...

PSALM 50: 14-23...
14+++“Offer to God a sacrifice of thanksgiving
And pay your vows to the Most High;

15+++Call upon Me in the day of trouble;
I shall rescue you, and you will honor Me.”

16+++But to the wicked God says,
“What right have you to tell of My statutes
And to take My covenant in your mouth?

17+++“For you hate discipline,
And you cast My words behind you.

18+++“When you see a thief, you are pleased with him,
And you associate with adulterers.

19+++“You let your mouth loose in evil
And your tongue frames deceit.

20+++“You sit and speak against your brother;
You slander your own mother’s son.

21+++“These things you have done and I kept silence;
You thought that I was just like you;
I will reprove you and state the case in order before your eyes.

22+++“Now consider this, you who forget God,
Or I will tear you in pieces, and there will be none to deliver.

23+++“He who offers a sacrifice of thanksgiving honors Me;
And to him who orders his way aright
I shall show the salvation of God.”

To obey is better than sacrifice, and to love God and our neighbour better than all burnt-offerings. We are here warned not to rest in these performances. And let us beware of resting in any form. God demands the heart, and how can human inventions please him, when repentance, faith, and holiness are neglected? In the day of distress we must apply to the Lord by fervent prayer. Our troubles, though we see them coming from God's hand, must drive us to him, not drive us from him. We must acknowledge him in all our ways, depend upon his wisdom, power, and goodness, and refer ourselves wholly to him, and so give him glory. Thus must we keep up communion with God; meeting him with prayers under trials, and with praises in deliverances. A believing supplicant shall not only be graciously answered as to his petition, and so have cause for praising God, but shall also have grace to praise him.

Hypocrisy is wickedness, which God will judge. And it is too common, for those who declare the Lord's statutes to others, to live in disobedience to them themselves. This delusion arises from the abuse of God's long-suffering, and a wilful mistake of his character and the intention of his gospel. 

The sins of sinners will be fully proved on them in the judgment of the great day. The day is coming when God will set their sins in order, sins of childhood and youth, of riper age and old age, to their everlasting shame and terror. Let those hitherto forgetful of God, given up to wickedness, or in any way negligent of salvation, consider their urgent danger. 

The patience of the Lord is very great. It is the more wonderful, because sinners make such ill use of it; but if they turn not, they shall be made to see their error when it is too late. Those that forget God, forget themselves; and it will never be right with them till they consider.  

Man's chief end is to glorify God: whoso offers praise, glorifies him, and his spiritual sacrifices shall be accepted. We must praise God, sacrifice praise, put it into the hands of the Priest, our Lord Jesus, who is also the altar: we must be fervent in spirit, praising the Lord. Let us thankfully accept God's mercy, and endeavour to glorify him in word and deed.

There will be those who question who then, can be saved, but as we see in MATTHEW 19: 25-26, Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” Which again, people twist to justify themselves, while negating their partnership TO THE COVENANT, and HIS MERCY...
