SATURDAY'S SOUNDNESS: *GOD* LOVES THE CHEERFUL GIVER...

There are nearly 100 verses in THE WORD about giving back, and over 30 about giving, though some are found in both contexts, nearly 30 about sharing, over 65 about charity, and almost 100 about helping others; the point is, as we should all know by now, that *GOD* desires HIS Children, in LOVE, to CARE for one another, to SHARE with one another, to make things better for anyone we can! Doesn't any Parent teach their Children to do the same? It is beneficial for ALL if each understands the lessons in forwarding LOVE, COMPASSION, KINDNESS, GOODNESS, and whatever one might be able to, tangibly, and not!!!

HIS LOVE TEACHES us to GIVE, selflessly, cheerfully, and willingly! The more we give, the more we are BLESSED, tangibly, or not!!!

These times are seeing more, and more selfishness, and less selflessness, although, there ARE SHINING examples yet to be found, in every corner of the Earth, *GOD* BLESS their rich, and merciful souls! Let us thank HIM for such people, because they are doing work that many of us have neglected to do, such as feeding hungry people, clothing them, teaching them, and providing for them in various ways! There are quiet rescuers in every community, whom, despite their own lack, FIND ways to feed a 100 or so people a day, or feed thousands of young Children at Schools, or other acts of good will! Such people provide HOPE, AND, a clear vision that all is NOT lost, for many who otherwise, would turn bitter due to their circumstances!!!

*GOD'S* WILL, and PLAN IS SOUNDLY PRINCIPLED, with GREAT reason, and purpose for ALL HE WILLS; MUCH of it, for our own good, safety, well-being, and encouragement, as we journey this time! Personally, I am surrounded by selfish people whom think it is foolish to care for those who need us! It is sad, as they are NOT understanding what THE LORD desires, nor LOVE...

WHAT we have, *GOD* has BLESSED us with, and even if we work hard for what we have, it IS HE whom has also BLESSED us with the means to provide for ourselves, and so, HE has GIVEN to us, and in turn, we are to give to others! WHY doesn't it make sense to so many???

In the early CHURCH, most members FREELY relinquished their worldly possessions to the CHURCH, and all that was taken in PROVIDED for ALL, that there were NONE lacking, nor with excess, THAT, there would be no grounds for futile dissensions over such matters! Today, we are not required to give ALL we have, instead, we are asked to share, be that in money, goods, food, or service to others, and yet, there is great disdain for doing so!!!

IF we can't part with what *GOD* gave us, then, are we not selfish? If we can't share, if we can't care, if we can't LOVE, are we not still in the flesh, and clinging to the world, disregarding the spirit, and the GIFT of CHRIST OUR LORD, whom, laid down, willingly, HIS LIFE, for us???

There are countless ways to give! But, no one CAN really give, IF there heart ISN'T in it! It would be pure hypocrisy to do so, yet, even at this, if SOMEONE is made to have a better day, that is ALL that is important...

Have you EVER been hungry? Have you EVER had to suffer poverty? Have you EVER had to fall asleep SURE that no one cares for you? Have you EVER been without HOPE???

*GOD* IS WISE beyond our limited perception of WISDOM, and IS JUST, FAIR, and PURELY GOOD; thus, what HE HAS DECREED IS FOR SOUND REASON! We aren't going to suffer by helping others! NO WAY! What we give returns to us, especially when done so in the heart of LOVE! HE LOVES those who LOVE HIM, enough to LOVE others!!!

Times are tough for many who never knew tough times; such people are inexperienced with the suffering involved in dire straits, and they DON'T deserve to be ignored, or refused, because they did all the right things, but economical woes beat them down! There are people who have NEVER had a good meal in their lives, in this late date, 2013, and they DON'T deserve to lack that pleasure while the rest of the world over-indulges! There are people so down, and out, so far removed from what most of us know, that they have no real life, instead, they are downcast, and their spirit is overtaken by their plight; they DON'T deserve to be left in this state, and by *GOD'S* DECREE, it is more than wrong when they are ignored, and denied!!!

When we give, we HONOUR THE LORD *GOD*, and we are then being as HE would have us to be, AWARE of our vital role in our relationship with HIM, and HIS LOVE!!!

CHRIST says:
ACTS 20: 35...
'It is more blessed to give than to receive.'"

It is more blessed to give than to receive: it seems they were words often used to his disciples. The opinion of the children of this world, is contrary to this; they are afraid of giving, unless in hope of getting. Clear gain, is with them the most blessed thing that can be; but Christ tell us what is more blessed, more excellent. 

It makes us more like to God, who gives to all, and receives from none; and to the Lord Jesus, who went about doing good. 

This mind was in Christ Jesus, may it be in us also.
