HIS own do NOT aspire to sin, though sin is ever nearby; instead, they work at resisting, and defeating what creates, and causes sin! They are AWARE of HIS WILL, and aim to please HIM, living CONSCIENTIOUSLY ALIGNED to HIM, HIS WILL, and WAYS. YES, sin IS prevalent, how could it not be when it is so easy to sin?, yet, those OF HIM, and understanding, ARE enabled to resist, and if those fathom sins appear, they recognize them, repent, and move forward...
It is NOT that we WON'T sin, we will, it is the way it is, INSTEAD, it is that we become aware of sin, and change what does appear, and happen; NOT become submerged in it, then, continue on! For instance, promiscuity; there are people whom believe that they CAN continue in this lifestyle, and remain FAITHFUL; they KNOW it is sin, and continue in it, so have they aligned to GRACE? On the other hand, a person who makes a mistake, and falls into sin, has NOT deliberately, or consciously committed sin, and so, it is a whole different matter. What about those that cheat on their Spouses, time after time, KNOWING it is wrong, it is sin? Are they aligned to GRACE, or are they aligned to the old self, that self that is self-inclined, and cares more for IT'S condition than to make necessary steps to HONOUR THE GIFT of LIFE? Sure, there ARE those that whom are overtaken by certain things, even addicted, yet, even these should SEEK to ARISE from them, through the many avenues available to us, FOR leading us to being aligned...
We need to study sin, and understand it, THAT we are more honest, and able to work past it, to increase the growth, development, and overall well-being of the new self, the TRUE self, the spirit, FOR THE GLORY OF *GOD*, and the principles of GRACE...
HE KNOWS we struggle, that is why HE says we must take UP our cross daily! Persistence in resistance accounts for MUCH! We are to KEEP busy working THROUGH what plagues us, RELYING ON HIM, not the carnality of the old self, to perfect us...
CHRIST told many people, "Go and sin no more", does this imply that the thief can go right back to thieving, though, he was just forgiven, and COMMANDED to sin no more? It WILL take time for one to sin no more, yet, that one is TRYING; IS HONOURING THE LORD *GOD*!!!
