EVERY DAY; ONE WAY...

Every day,
There is ONE WAY,
For me to trek, this journey,
Narrow is the path, it is cut out plainly,
That, I go, neither, left, nor, right,
Instead, following what is, in sight;
Trusting, that it will lead me to,
What my soul, always knew,
It's CREATOR, and, eternal life,
Free from ALL negatives, pain, and, strife!!!

Not always, is it, an easy road, to stay upon,
Sometimes, I am tempted to look behind, to see what is gone,
But, I resist, remembering, that what lies ahead, is beautiful, filled with GRACE,
Besides, there is evidence of PEACE, all over the place!
There is a tranquil feeling, a sense of being cared for,
Along with anticipation, of the PROMISES, in store;
Thus, I remain aligned, to the direction before me, noticing *GOD* in everything,
Aware of the abundances, which, HIS own hand, did bring,
Into existence, that HIS CHILDREN, might be reminded, again, and, again,
That, where they are headed, is far greater, than the imagination of Men!!!

I was fearful when I first, began my travels, on this ONE WAY path,
Yet, I KNEW, deep within, that it WAS the stretch to safety, in the aftermath;
Plus, I TRUSTED my FATHER, with ALL of my heart,
And so, fear, little, by little, began to depart;
Being replaced by comfort, confidence, and, the need to conform TO HIS WILL,
Believing that, ahead, it will be, even better, still!
An opening of my being, has led me to experience, HIM, though, HE is ABOVE,
Encompassing me, is the MIGHT of HIS LOVE,
Evidenced in ways, I could, probably, never, quite explain;
As I go forth, I have been BLESSED by GOODNESS, while relieved of, suffering, and, pain!!!

How I have come to cherish this, benevolent, avenue,
It IS the most rewarding, of any, I ever knew!
Filled am I, by warmth, accord, affection, contentment of every kind,
LORD, gone is the maddening chatter, of the egocentric mind!
What I have learned, along the way, is that I WANT to become as perfect, as is, this lane,
To please *GOD*, and, to ever, from all wrongdoing, refrain!
I want to GLORIFY HIM, in all I think, in my actions, and, reactions, even, in what I say,
Because, HE, ALONE, IS the giver, of this, magnificent, day!
Thank YOU, LORD, for snatching me from the gates of hell, and, for setting me, upon this road to paradise,
I am, totally, indebted unto YOU, while, grateful, for YOUR awakening, within me, YOUR WAYS, which, ARE tested, TRUE, and, WISE!!!
