1 PETER 1:13-25...
13/ Therefore, gird up the loins of your mind, live soberly, and set your hopes completely on the grace to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.
14/ Like obedient children, do not act in compliance with the desires of your former ignorance
15/ but, as he who called you is holy, be holy yourselves in every aspect of your conduct,
16/ for it is written, "Be holy because I (am) holy."
17/ Now if you invoke as Father him who judges impartially according to each one's works, conduct yourselves with reverence during the time of your sojourning,
18/ realizing that you were ransomed from your futile conduct, handed on by your ancestors, not with perishable things like silver or gold
19/ but with the precious blood of Christ as of a spotless unblemished lamb.
20/ He was known before the foundation of the world but revealed in the final time for you,
21/ who through him believe in God who raised him from the dead and gave him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.
22/ Since you have purified yourselves by obedience to the truth for sincere mutual love, love one another intensely from a (pure) heart.
23/ You have been born anew, not from perishable but from imperishable seed, through the living and abiding word of God,
24/ for: "All flesh is like grass, and all its glory like the flower of the field; the grass withers, and the flower wilts;
25/ but the word of the Lord remains forever." This is the word that has been proclaimed to you.

This says volumes of our responsibility to our part of the Church/CHRIST JESUS, and, to the NEW Covenant!!!
As always, LOVE IS THE LAW, and, is reiterated constantly, consistently, as we learn, and, grow into worthy Children of the FATHER, MOST HIGH!!!
BE HOLY, because I AM HOLY!!! Powerful command, which involves great, and, deliberate thought, then, alteration of the carnal mind! EFFORT is the key! We cannot hope to touch HOLINESS without constant EFFORT! EFFORT SHOWS *GOD* that we are on the path, though we might yet need LOTS of assistance, guidance, direction, protection, and, forgiveness, we ARE on the right path, which is what GROWTH in *GOD* IS all about!!!
Conduct yourself with great reverence! This means to journey with REGARD for the LORD, *GOD*, our SAVIOUR, and, HIS precepts, and, with DEEP ROOTED RESPECT for HIS WAYS, HIS WILL, HIS LOVE, and, for our lives in HIM, as well as for one another! Reverence is a characteristic marked by LOVE, VIRTUES, and, WHOLESOMENESS! While it might be difficult to manage to be reverent at all times, keep striving to do so, as, again, EFFORT is proof of your intentions to *GOD*!!!
Develop your mind to LIVE in HOLINESS, and, let mortal passions cease, save for the passion you hold for the *GODHEAD*, and, the promise of salvation! In this way, you are, bit by bit, freed from the holds the world would place upon you, and, lead you AWAY from *GOD*, and, INTO sin! FOCUS upon the promise of eternal life as your reward for any, and, all suffering you endure in the now, for, surely, it is NOTHING in comparison to what CHRIST JESUS suffered that you might have eternal life! Recall HIS gift, remember HIS suffering, and, rejoice in the LOVE which moved HIM to care so much for us that HE laid HIS life down, that, for the GLORY of *GOD*, we might return to *GOD*, through this sacrifice!!!
Be STRONG! Be VIGILANT! Be HOPEFULLY CONVINCED that your EFFORTS are not in vain, for the promise is true!!!
Don't step back, don't two-step, don't falter, but, if you do, repent with all your might, and, sincerity, and, never give up! Place ALL of your FAITH in the promise, and, set your sights upon that promise, that the deceptive visions before you in this life, are not confounding, perplexing, confusing, or, debilitating! People will try to sway your passion for the LORD, some of them your own flesh, and, blood, but, don't you listen to them, don't you watch them to follow them, and, don't you ever let the promise leave any of your senses for one second, for that is all it takes for the egocentric mind, the deception of this life, to alter your progress! Keep on keepin' on in the name of all which is HOLY, and, rejoice hourly in the name of *GOD*, our LORD, our SAVIOUR, our HOLY SPIRIT, for only this can set you free!!!
I LOVE YOU in the LOVE of *GOD*, and, I wish you every success at beating the odds of the game of life! May *GOD* be your sight, your ears, your every sense that you are ALWAYS on that straight, and, narrow path to the greatest inheritance imaginable! PRAISE the LORD, our *GOD*, for HE IS ALL, and, EVERYTHING, and, HAS surely provided all resources to our safety, and, security, for all eternity!!! AMEN!!!
