Warm Up America.org is an org that accepts knitted, or sewn 7" by 9" squares, which their volunteers will assemble into quilts which are donated to Women's shelters, nursing homes, and homeless shelters across the country! Wonderful!!!
Newborns In Need...

Most importantly, we are to help the Fatherless, the orphaned, and the widowed, and so, I am researching this topic, and after digging deep into what records are available, have decided that this site is worthy of attention: Lifesong For Orphans.org which has done some wondrous works! I was in an orphanage for a while, and have to tell you, without outside HOPE, LOVE, and encouragement, many of these Children will have a most difficult time growing into their potential! While they are surrounded by some LOVE, and care, they NEED to KNOW LOVE from other sources! I basically, grew up without any kind of LOVE, save for THE LORD'S LOVE, for which I PRAISE, and THANK HIM, and had I not BELIEVED in LOVE SO deeply, could have been a way different person than I am!!!
Helping the widowed is varied; ranging from helping them around their houses, visiting them, cooking for them, driving them around (if possible), and well, there are diverse ways to help them! These days, because of the economy, the cost of living, the cost of insurances, the cost of medications, and so forth, many of them DO need financial help, or gifts that will carry them through! Perhaps a few groceries, necessities, and so on, would ease their struggles, and it is always nice to give something they wish they had, but cannot afford, this is true of ALL people in this world! More to come on this, as I research organizations that lend help to the widowed...
Homelessness is one of those needless human tragedies, in many cases, especially in these times; before it was those who brought it on themselves to a large degree, but today it is way different, as the cost of living FORCES many to the streets, and there are a LOT of Mothers with small Children in this predicament, not to mention, Grandparents, and even returning Military personnel! There, again, are diverse ways of helping in this arena, and I will provide as much as is feasible, because this matter HAS to be curtailed....
There are an awful lot of Children who go to School hungry, and so, let us give as we can to such causes or find ways to curb this problem. On this site, on the right side bar, there is a link called Kid's Food Basket, which is located in one state, however, the reason I have shared this link is because, from their example, it IS possible to expand it countrywide, in which case, they have a link for expanding, providing information for others to begin such a program which will help Children to feel better from the inside out, which means better concentration in School, and happier dispositions all the way around! The Children ARE the future, and so, we SHOULD contribute in whatever ways we can to their growth, as it IS the imminent and imperative role of Adults, and Parents to ensure that they are brought up in the best ways possible, for the good of the future, and THE GLORY OF *GOD*. Let us do what we can, and remember always, what we give, we gain...
