Thanksgiving for the LORD's Favor

Psalms 138 (A Psalm of David)
1/ I will praise thee with my whole heart: before the gods will I sing praise unto thee.
2/ I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy loving-kindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.
3/ In the day when I cried thou answeredst me, and strengthenedst me with strength in my soul.
4/ All the kings of the earth shall praise thee, O LORD, when they hear the words of thy mouth.
5/ Yea, they shall sing in the ways of the LORD: for great is the glory of the LORD.
6/ Though the LORD be high, yet hath he respect unto the lowly: but the proud he knoweth afar off.
7/ Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me: thou shalt stretch forth thine hand against the wrath of mine enemies, and thy right hand shall save me.
8/ The LORD will perfect that which concerneth me:
thy mercy, O LORD, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands... AMEN!!!

One CANNOT earn GRACE, it is HIS own ESSENCE; a gift, still, IF one claims to be IN HIS GRACE, we ARE to, or, OUGHT to, be reflections of that GRACE! 2 CORINTHIANS 6:1, tells us not to take HIS GRACE in vain! This means, living in LOVE, morality, ethics, virtue, righteousness, and, spiritual improvement, TOWARDS, spiritual maturity, WHILE, visibly BEING as LIGHTS, beaming OF *GOD*, beckoning the world, TO THE LIGHT! Righteousness MEANS, conduct in conformity with *GOD'S* WILL, and, "Be HOLY because I AM HOLY!", therefore, indicating that knowledge, wisdom, and, effort, DO, apply TO the righteous!!! NEVER forget, we were grafted in, and, if we do not bear fruit, as a dead branch, we will be pruned out, just as were, the natural branches!!!

We are not saved by works, instead, works PROVE HIM in us: they identify HIS own...

IF I claim ONENESS with *GOD*, through CHRIST JESUS, I am DEAD TO THE WORLD, THUS, LIVING as HIM, which is, hopefully, witnessed IN, and, THROUGH, my every thought, action, and, reaction; MEANING, I am, THROUGH CONSCIOUS application OF THE WORD, HIS COMMANDS, HIS WILL, REFLECTING righteousness, not, merely, FAITH! I become, the TRULY FRUITFUL branch, of THE VINE, the TRUE member of THE BODY/THE CHURCH, CHRIST JESUS, and, TESTIFY, then, GLORIFY, BOLDLY, BY my thoughts, actions, and, reactions, HIS name, because, HE IS WORTHY, and, IN HIS LOVE, has SHOWN me, how I OUGHT to exist, to which, I eagerly, adapt, and, comply!!!

MATTHEW 5:48...
So be perfect, just as your heavenly Father is perfect

1 PETER 1:14-16...
14/ Like obedient children, do not act in compliance with the desires of your former ignorance
15/ but, as he who called you is holy, be holy yourselves in every aspect of your conduct,
16/ for it is written, "Be holy because I (am) holy."

ROMANS 12:2...
Do not conform yourselves to this age but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and pleasing and perfect.

Conduct, in conformity to *GOD'S* WILL, marks the righteous; it is NOT because of guilt, or, ancient Laws, but, because of LOVE; LOVE for *GOD*, self, then, others! CHRIST JESUS gave us Commandments to live by, of which, the first is to LOVE *GOD*, with all of your mind, heart, and, soul; the second is, to LOVE one another!

LOVE COMPELS us to LIVE IN HIM, through conduct which conforms to *GOD*; in other words, morality, ethics, doing good, and, being good, and, ever striving to improve the spirit! It is about REFLECTING THE TRUTH, for ALL to bear witness to, FOR, and, TO HIS GLORY, RADIANTLY SHINING OF HIS POWER, GRACE, and, MERCIES!!!

It IS ALL ABOUT LOVE, baby, all about LOVE!!!

MATTHEW 4: 17...From that time on, Jesus began to preach and say, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand."

JOHN 14:15..."If you love me, you will keep my commandments.

NOTE: I do not intend to preach, rather to reach; to stir up, awaken, to inspire, and, bring forth, in discussion, that which is, perhaps, dormantly existing in the heart of hearts, thus, little, or, no, sugar coatings, just THE WORD of *GOD*, the TRUTH, along with some of my thoughts. And truth is, I am reminding myself always, as I practice these reminders, in the best of my abilities, and capacities, while RELYING on THE LORD to lead me on that narrow PATH---> MATTHEW 7: 14: "For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it... TO *GOD* BE ALL GLORY...

EACH TIME WE SAY FAREWELL, LET US BRING FORTH MORE OF THE GOOD WITHIN...

The world weeps, but the HEAVENS rejoice when yet another soul is brought home---

Death came via the enemy, Satan, but was defeated by CHRIST JESUS, our LORD *GOD*, and SAVIOUR, THAT HIS Chosen return to their TRUE home, THE KINGDOM; not in body, but the soul...

Because we are in the human realm, we cling to these bodies, and oh, so many would cling to them eternally, if possible; people LOVE this world, despite the taint of evil before them, beside them, behind them, and all around them, BECAUSE they have not yet comprehended, or accepted that our REALITY IS SPIRIT, NOT flesh, plus, the enticements, and pleasures HAVE a hold on us TO the point of FORGETTING, or IGNORING, or DENYING TRUTH...

None of us like losing someone near, and dear, nor do we enjoy the senseless loss of lives due to the wickedness in this world, but as sure as we were born, we shall face death in the flesh, but do NOT have to face it in the spirit/soul! THE KINGDOM IS FREEDOM from the binds, woes, troubles, and disintegration of this plane, and NEVER shall anyone shed a tear, feel fear, pain, or ANY thing negative again in HIS NEW WORLD! It IS PARADISE ETERNAL, and IS WORTHY of our attention, of our efforts, and of our adherence TO THE LORD *GOD* ALMIGHTY!!!

Too, amazing is the fact that far too many will exit this world with bitterness, hatred, or animosity in their hearts, which is especially perplexing for those whom KNOW that as our hearts reflect our truths, so shall our LORD deal with us! MATTHEW 6: 15...
But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive yours.

Here is a promise, If you forgive, your heavenly Father will also forgive. We must forgive, as we hope to be forgiven. Those who desire to find mercy with God, must show mercy to their brethren. Christ came into the world as the great Peace-maker, not only to reconcile us to God, but one to another.

HIS GRACE, and MERCY ARE to become OURS! HE HAS told us what HE wants from us:
MICAH 6: 8...
He has shown you, O mankind, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you but to act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?

Moral duties are commanded because they are good for man. In keeping God's commandments there is a great reward, as well as after keeping them. God has not only made it known, but made it plain. The good which God requires of us is, not the paying a price for the pardon of sin and acceptance with God, but love to himself; and what is there unreasonable, or hard, in this? Every thought within us must be brought down, to be brought into obedience to God, if we would walk comfortably with him. We must do this as penitent sinners, in dependence on the Redeemer and his atonement. Blessed be the Lord that he is ever ready to give his grace to the humble, waiting penitent.

As I grow older, and mature more into my BLESSED state of being a Child of THE SOVEREIGN LORD *GOD*, I am also, learning about my shortcomings, my humanness, my errs, and my mistakes along THE WAY, which I AM working on, and through, according to HIS WILL. I have LOTS of challengers, and obstacles, and even those who despise me, in which case, whereas before I would react according to my emotions, I now STRIVE to react according to HIS WILL, and WAYS; therefore, I go to lengths to rid myself of the negatives which will hinder the POSITIVES OF HIS having BLESSED me, and the more I align, the more PEACE I feel! I am NOT going to exit this Earth with the poisons of it in my being, so, I aim to rectify what I am able to with others, and within myself, regardless if it is accepted, or reciprocated, I HAVE tried, and HAVE offered PEACE unto them, and if they refuse it, then it is on them, not me. I PRAY EACH day for THE LORD to TEACH me about sin that I AM more enabled to resist, and overcome it, THAT I am not led into temptation, and that which denies HIM IN me! HE IS perfecting me, but it is NOT ALL ON HIM, I AM co-partner TO HIS WILL, and PLAN, and so, I WORK at becoming the best I can, THAT HIS HOLY SPIRIT IS FREE to complete me...

Ah death, and funerals; they open up the being to various issues/matters, and put our vulnerabilities more into perspective, as well as they OUGHT to humble us even a bit more, KNOWING that we have NO control over our time on this planet, AND they SHOULD remind us deeply, as we view the dearly departed, that THE SOUL IS that which IS eternal, and WHERE it ends up IS ON us! ALSO, LOVE OUGHT to be reiterated, and revived, and renewed as we weep over those now gone, and look around at those we share this time with, BECAUSE LOVE IS THE LAW FULFILLED, and IS that which covers a multitude of sins, and IS that which SHALL REMAIN, no matter what! All these things PROVE *GOD* in us, and serve others, WHICH IS part and parcel TO our BLESSED state of being HEIRS TO THE KINGDOM!!!

I PRAY that ALL Christians begin to realize the IMPERATIVE, and CRUCIAL work before them AS SERVANTS, and CO-PARTNERS TO THE COVENANT OF PEACE, and KNOW that there ARE innumerable souls waiting to be snatched from the fires, and inspired to seek THE LORD *GOD*! Our time in this world IS best spent FOR HIS GLORY, and the greater good of others, and it doesn't matter if it is rebuked, denied, or defied by others, what matters is that we REFLECTED HIM in the best of our abilities and understanding FOR HIS GLORY, and the sake of souls!!!

Again, the world weeps, but the HEAVENS REJOICE in EACH soul which is brought HOME; let us find PEACE, STRENGTH, and JOY IN our role IN HIS WILL, and HIS PLAN, and may we BLESS HIM BY BEING BLESSINGS unto ALL!!!
