In this overly political era, kindness, generosity, consideration, dialogue, and other useful means which promote co-existence, have been tossed to the winds of emotions, misinformation, misinterpretation of information, standards, policies, and even laws, along with fairness, and willingness to hear both sides! We are now aggressive, insulting, easily riled, angry, volatile, hostile, bullies; well, we are NEGATIVELY charged, which is NEVER going to bring us RELIEF, or PROGRESS!!!
TOO many people forget their own shortcomings, their own skeletons in the closet, their own faults, their own mistakes, and their own humanity when they are dealing with others, be that politically, or not! Today we are feel justified to judge, condemn, diss, and destroy someone VOID of ever looking inwardly to our own flaws, because it has become the 'norm', for some crazy, and insensitive reason, and yah, we ARE becoming more and more insensitive to most around us, but surely to those whom we imagine to be different, or to be in opposition to us! WE ARE ACTING LIKE CHILDREN, and that AIN'T gonna lead us anywhere but into worse conditions than what we are seeing, hearing, and experiencing right now!!!
SURELY there ARE some Adults, yet, not enough of them setting the example, or the standard, as principles are wiped out, just like that, since there are more 'followers' than there are leaders! IS ANYONE thinking ahead to the future, and what the young ones whom are about to take over are going to have to deal with due to our lacks? WHAT happened to instilling what works FOR us into the vulnerable, and impressive minds of the youth? NOW they are simply free to 'follow' what they hear, see, and experience as TOO MANY of those who SHOULD be teaching them aright ARE existing wrongly! This ISN'T a game; time ISN'T on our side, and when negativity replaces positivity, and morals diminish, along with age old standards, well, dangers of all sorts seep in, settle, and become embedded into society, and the minds of whom become those who will lead the next generation(s)!!!
LORD HAVE MERCY, we ARE really shaking things up! WE ARE damaging the foundations on which life and liberty have been laid! We, honestly, are NOT thinking in the long term, instead, are reacting in the short term, meanwhile stirring up the pot of poisonous dissension which ultimately, sees us divided, which means we will no longer be the UNITED states of America, and that will lead us to our own downfall, in which case, there is NO ONE TO BLAME but ourselves!!!
FEW seem to care; COMPLACENCY is rampant; better yet, is PARTNER to the hostility we are embroiled in! REALLY, and SERIOUSLY, we NEED to take a long, hard look at what is occurring, as it IS getting very difficult to deal with, and the repercussions WILL be greater than we can fathom!!!
Now I know WHY I have essentially, remained A-political; politics are strangely loaded with dire consequences, and debilitating ammo! IF people were to put this much energy into THE LORD *GOD*, LOVE, and what is right, just, and good, we WOULD have HEAVEN on Earth, don't you doubt it! See, that is the thing, we spend SO much time dwelling in the wrongs of this world, that we MISS OUT on the rights, and that which WOULD lead us to a peaceful, and benevolent existence; which by the way, WOULD provide for all, and not just some...
In these times we are reeling from the perversions of laws, and all those measures which HAVE MADE this country one of the greatest in history, therefore, we are going to suffer more IF we allow what has worked FOR us to be further marred, or destroyed by being complacent, or indifferent, or overtly progressive!!!
SO many people are fighting for rights they ALREADY HAVE, and I fail to see HOW they can't embrace the fact that those rights HAVE been there for them all along! We have TOO many fighting for causes that are NOT quite causes, instead, that are the instilled visions of others, and their faulty perceptions of just how good we DO have it! There are more REBELS than there are causes, therefore, there IS confusion, delusion, and intrusion of incomplete, or unfounded idealism!!!
I LOVE my country, but I DON'T WANT to spend the rest of my days in the DIVIDED STATES OF AMERICA; I MISS the UNTIED STATES OF AMERICA, you bet I do!!!
WE NEED to MATURE, and in that maturity, EMBRACE ALL the components of that which works FOR us, such as virtues, integrity, ethics, compassion, care, respect, regard, tolerance, understanding, and on the list goes of that which DOES exist IN EACH of us, and IS available THROUGH using the mind, and heart OVER emotions, and the negativity which aspires to tear us apart! WE CAN CHANGE the course on which we are now heading, but it takes ACKNOWLEDGEMENT of our OWN flaws, and COMPROMISE at all times!!!
LORD HELP us to help ourselves, and to SEE, and HEAR THE TRUTH which not only saves us, but aids us! HELP us to step AWAY from the carefully laid trap of politics, which ensnares us, and brings us down into the pits of no return! HELP us to get back on track, and to reckon with the beauty of the principles on which this country was built, and has remained upon to this point! HELP us, LORD, HELP us to NOTICE the dangers we HAVE created for ourselves in the shift from YOU, from LOVE, and from the standards which HAVE kept America FREE, and FLOURISHING! HELP us to be REMINDED OF WHY IN YOU WE TRUST, EVEN those who are inclined to deny, or defy it! In the name of CHRIST JESUS, I BEG YOU, HELP US, LORD, and THANK YOU FOR YOUR LOVING CARE for us, and FOR ALL YOU ARE AND DO! AMEN!!!
