UNCHANGED IN A CHANGING WORLD...

SO many things changing, along with so many people following suit, and a whole lot of it just doesn't make any sense for the short, or long term! Lies are truth, fantasies are real, ugliness is beautiful, rights are wrong, and well, things are flippin'---

Daily we read, and hear the voices which decry, deny, and defy, first, THE LORD *GOD* ALMIGHTY, then, HIS people, then, virtue, ethics, morality, and whatever is right, just, and good, as the adversary has it's way with humanity in lieu of lack of sound principles being taught, embraced, and existed in! Hell HAS opened up it's throat, to which the 'slippery slope' IS jam packed...

Listen, the noise of rebellion is loud, and bold; it is affecting every aspect of time on this planet! Belligerence, hostility, intolerance, hatred, wrath, great lust, and many more negative mentalities, and behaviours have become so common, they no longer shock, thus, there is complacency, plus, more than some have joined in the ranks because so many others have...

LOVE is almost a joke, at least in the context of how our LORD would have it, AND MANY people's LOVE has gone cold, or IS cooling! There is NO HOPE without *GOD*, or LOVE, yet, the general consensus doesn't care, or disagrees! These have NO worry for the soul, which IS our reality, instead their concern is of the body, it's desires, and the time they have to appease whatever they want...

Large groups of people now stand before Christians to belittle them, to obstruct them, to harm them, and this worse than most times in history! The time IS here when we MUST stand firm in our LORD, in HIS LOVE, in our FAITH, as the 'shaking' HAS begun...

We are NOT here to fight with the opposition; instead, to SHOW them THE WAY TO *GOD*, and THE KINGDOM; the battle IS THE LORD'S, and hopefully, we are girded in TRUTH, and have on the MIGHTY armor enforced by our FAITH, and FAITHFULNESS! AS our LORD, CHRIST JESUS exemplified IN HIS own suffering, we ARE to REMAIN gentle, kind, LOVING, and perform our 'duties'...

It's getting tough, but we get tougher IN the ways of RIGHTEOUSNESS, according TO HIS WILL! We PRAY, PRAY, and PRAY some more, while PRAISING *GOD*, WORSHIPING HIS HOLINESS, and REJOICING IN HIS LOVING care for us! We HONOUR HIM BY BEING HONOURABLE in ALL our ways, ALL our days; aligned TO TRUTH, FOR HIS GLORY! We aspire to reach others THROUGH our REFLECTION OF HIM in our existence!!!

We KEEP our focus on HIM ABOVE, and not on the world, as the world works against what is from HIM ABOVE, in order to distract us TO the point of our turning away, as if! We REMAIN IN HIM, and HE WILL REMAIN in us; there is NO other way through and past what is happening, and is yet to come...

MATTHEW 24: 13...
But the one who endures to the end, he will be saved

But where the heart is fixed, trusting in God, it is kept in peace, and is not afraid. It is against the mind of Christ, that his people should have troubled hearts, even in troublous times. When we looked forward to the eternity of misery that is before the obstinate refusers of Christ and his gospel, we may truly say, The greatest earthly judgments are but the beginning of sorrows. It is comforting that some shall endure even to the end.

MATTHEW 10: 22...
“And you will be hated by all on account of My name, but it is the one who has endured to the end who will be saved.

This is more particularly directed to the apostles themselves, as what is said before regards the followers of Christ in general; for this was to be the lot of the apostles, that they should not only be ill treated in common with others, by their near friends and relations, whose love would be turned into hatred to them, but should be the butt and mark of the malice and wrath of all men; that is, of most men, or of the far greater part of the Jews, even of all wicked men who disbelieved and rejected the Messiah: for that the words are not to be understood in the utmost latitude, without any restriction, is certain; since there would be some who would be converted; and believe in Christ through their ministry, and consequently would love, esteem, and honour them as their spiritual fathers and guides, and as the disciples and apostles of Christ.  

This hatred they should be exposed to, would not be on account of any ill will to their persons; or because of any evil or immorality committed by them; but purely, and alone, for the name of Christ, in whom they believed, by which they were called, of which they made a profession, and zealously preached: which consideration, as it must needs secure peace and tranquillity in their breasts; so for their further encouragement, it is added, but he that endureth to the end, shall be saved: which words suggest, that the tribulations and persecutions of the disciples of Christ, through the hatred of wicked men against them, shall not last always; there will be an end to them; respecting either the end of time and life, or the destruction of Jerusalem, when these their enemies would be cut off, or removed, and be capable of giving them no further trouble; and that such persons are happy, who patiently endure the hatred of men, and all manner of persecution, for Christ's sake; who are not moved by the afflictions they suffer, but stand fast in the faith, hold fast the profession of it, go on in their Christian course, and hold out to the end; for such shall be saved, not only with a temporal salvation, as the Christians were at the destruction of Jerusalem, but with an eternal one. 

We must expect to enter into the kingdom of God through many tribulations. With these predictions of trouble, are counsels and comforts for a time of trial. Be ye harmless as doves. Not only, do nobody any hurt, but bear nobody any ill-will. Prudent care there must be, but not an anxious, perplexing thought; let this care be cast upon God.  

The disciples of Christ must think more how to do well, than how to speak well. In case of great peril, the disciples of Christ may go out of the way of danger, though they must not go out of the way of duty. No sinful, unlawful means may be used to escape; for then it is not a door of God's opening. The fear of man brings a snare, a perplexing snare, that disturbs our peace; an entangling snare, by which we are drawn into sin; and, therefore, it must be striven and prayed against. Tribulation, distress, and persecution cannot take away God's love to them, or theirs to him.

Turbulent though the times be, or are, let us NOT be tossed about in doubt, or fear, nor by any other worldly means! STAND FIRM! Let NOTHING of the world move you! Give yourself to the work of THE LORD, and KNOW this is NOT in vain! 1 CORINTHIANS 15: 58...
