HOSTILITY OR KINDNESS: FLESH OR SPIRIT: IT 'IS' IN OUR COURT...

WHY is there SO much meanness in this world? It is like, let's see who can be the meanest of them all! IS it necessary to belittle others constantly, and consistently? WHAT is gained in doing so? It is tiresome, boring, and absolutely, futile---

Some are born unattractive in the eyes of the world, but they are beautiful within; some are born gorgeous, but are empty, or ugly within; some are intelligent, some, not so much; and on the comparisons go, BUT ONE THING WE ALL HAVE IN COMMON IS the fact WE ARE ALL imperfect, flawed, and fallible human beings, AND we NEED each other more than we care to admit...

Inside MOST people we find the potential of goodness, just as we find the potential for bad! Conscientious CHOICES based on prioritized decisions to embrace either one proves our truth! Then we have those who follow others, often without real understanding of whom, or what they are aligning to; they just go along with what is trendy, or what have you; in this case, they have yet to make an honest choice...

It blows my mind just how nasty people can be, and how it seems to be more prevalent every single day! THIS CRIES LOUDLY of THE LACK OF LOVE on this planet, indeed! People who KNOW LOVE, and attempt to exist in it, utilize it's endless optimizing components, such as compassion, respect, regard, tolerance, and other PRODUCTIVE behaviours, and actions! I am tired of hearing that someone needs to earn respect, because not so long ago, it WAS a given, UNTIL it was demonstrated otherwise! Respect and regard AID humanity in such great ways, AND leave room for dialogue, as well as a platform on which to build, be that relationships, or advancements...

Bullying of every kind has taken center stage, and I gotta say, it is purely ugly, in all feasible contexts! It is awful; it is wrong; it is TOTALLY counter-productive; it is making existence bad for EVERYONE! What's really bad about it is that now, it is done behind a computer screen, and is egged on by far too many! Mere Children are killing themselves, and/or, are being scarred for years to come, in which case there is a general consensus that they just need to toughen up! IF it were happening to most individuals that say this, they would find just how damaging ARE the effects...

There is nit-picking galore, like no one can get enough, and over the most idiotic things, too! AS IF none of those doing so have anything wrong in their own selves! Fairness CAN be a viable tool to regenerating PEACE in this crazy world, though many are self-appointed anti-fairness lords...

WHEN ANY ONE OF US BECOMES perfect, then maybe there might be justification for all the name calling, finger pointing, false accusations, slander, libel, bullying, and other such, but doubtfully so, BECAUSE the PERFECT person wouldn't even consider hurting someone else...

In this GIVEN day, there will more hostility, more hatred, more animosity, more bloodshed, and more of the negatives which HINDER progress, HOPE, PEACE, and ALL which IS RIGHT, JUST, and GOOD, for TOO many have forgotten, or ignored THE FACTS of LOVE, and the virtues therein! We ARE headed to some very volatile times, which IS sad, AS we HAVE the self-control, knowledge, and abilities TO nip it! We ARE ABLE TO BE KIND, GRACIOUS, MERCIFUL, FORGIVING, UNDERSTANDING, and ALL which depicts LOVING!!!

SOMETHING IS WRONG with all this, and if you think this is normal, then, I guess I am from another planet, for NOT LONG AGO, we WERE reared in more POSITIVE ways, with virtues, even if they didn't take well, most people embraced them to degree enough to be nicer, and more WILLING to make the world a better place...

The end times MIGHT be upon us; but they are for every generation, in that we know NOT when we will exit this Earth, but FOR SURE, IF we remain in this mode, MANY more than not shall be lost, eternally! WHY DOESN'T the soul matter to the majority of people in this time? It IS the REALITY of our existence, and SHALL be around forevermore, even if it is in the everlasting fires of wrong choices. You would think that most would consider it, at the very least, but not today; instead there is denial, and defying, in which case, I ask, "What IF you are wrong?"...

Unfortunately, numerous Christians have joined in with the world, and ARE acting in contrast TO CHRIST by doing so! It IS written, which we OUGHT to heed:
GALATIANS 5: 16-26...
16+++But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not carry out the desire of the flesh.
17+++For the flesh sets its desire against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; for these are in opposition to one another, so that you may not do the things that you please. 
18+++But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the Law. 
19+++Now the deeds of the flesh are evident, which are: immorality, impurity, sensuality,
20+++idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, disputes, dissensions, factions, 
21+++envying, drunkenness, carousing, and things like these, of which I forewarn you, just as I have forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
22+++But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
23+++gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.
24+++Now those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.
25+++If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit.
26+++Let us not become boastful, challenging one another, envying one another.

If it be our care to act under the guidance and power of the blessed Spirit, though we may not be freed from the stirrings and oppositions of the corrupt nature which remains in us, it shall not have dominion over us.  

Believers are engaged in a conflict, in which they earnestly desire that grace may obtain full and speedy victory. And those who desire thus to give themselves up to be led by the Holy Spirit, are not under the law as a covenant of works, nor exposed to its awful curse. Their hatred of sin, and desires after holiness, show that they have a part in the salvation of the gospel. 

The works of the flesh are many and manifest. And these sins will shut men out of heaven. Yet what numbers, calling themselves Christians, live in these, and say they hope for heaven!  

The fruits of the Spirit, or of the renewed nature, which we are to do, are named. And as the apostle had chiefly named works of the flesh, not only hurtful to men themselves, but tending to make them so to one another, so here he chiefly notices the fruits of the Spirit, which tend to make Christians agreeable one to another, as well as to make them happy. The fruits of the Spirit plainly show, that such are led by the Spirit.  

By describing the works of the flesh and fruits of the Spirit, we are told what to avoid and oppose, and what we are to cherish and cultivate; and this is the sincere care and endeavour of all real Christians. Sin does not now reign in their mortal bodies, so that they obey it, Ro 6:12, for they seek to destroy it.

Christ never will own those who yield themselves up to be the servants of sin. And it is not enough that we cease to do evil, but we must learn to do well. Our conversation will always be answerable to the principle which guides and governs us, Ro 8:5. We must set ourselves in earnest to mortify the deeds of the body, and to walk in newness of life. Not being desirous of vain-glory, or unduly wishing for the esteem and applause of men, not provoking or envying one another, but seeking to bring forth more abundantly those good fruits, which are, through Jesus Christ, to the praise and glory of God.

We ARE CALLED TO FREEDOM, BUT NOT for the flesh, but FOR LOVE IN THE SPIRIT! FREEDOM FROM the world's ways, and chains, which intend to see us suffering evermore! LOVE FULFILLS THE LAW, and IS THE WAY! THE WAY TO THE ETERNAL KINGDOM, and past the evils of this day! WE HAVE CHOICES; IT IS IN OUR COURT! IF we ARE OF CHRIST JESUS, we are NOT of this world, hence, we do NOT contribute to it's wrongs! PRAY, PRAY, and PRAY some more; we NEED *GOD* MORE THAN ANYTHING ELSE, believe it!!!
