HEAVENLY INCLINED...: TUESDAY: TURNED UPWARD THOUGHTS...

Thanksgiving for the LORD's Favor

Psalms 138 (A Psalm of David)
1/ I will praise thee with my whole heart: before the gods will I sing praise unto thee.
2/ I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy loving-kindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.
3/ In the day when I cried thou answeredst me, and strengthenedst me with strength in my soul.
4/ All the kings of the earth shall praise thee, O LORD, when they hear the words of thy mouth.
5/ Yea, they shall sing in the ways of the LORD: for great is the glory of the LORD.
6/ Though the LORD be high, yet hath he respect unto the lowly: but the proud he knoweth afar off.
7/ Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me: thou shalt stretch forth thine hand against the wrath of mine enemies, and thy right hand shall save me.
8/ The LORD will perfect that which concerneth me:
thy mercy, O LORD, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands... AMEN!!!

One CANNOT earn GRACE, it is HIS own ESSENCE; a gift, still, IF one claims to be IN HIS GRACE, we ARE to, or, OUGHT to, be reflections of that GRACE! 2 CORINTHIANS 6:1, tells us not to take HIS GRACE in vain! This means, living in LOVE, morality, ethics, virtue, righteousness, and, spiritual improvement, TOWARDS, spiritual maturity, WHILE, visibly BEING as LIGHTS, beaming OF *GOD*, beckoning the world, TO THE LIGHT! Righteousness MEANS, conduct in conformity with *GOD'S* WILL, and, "Be HOLY because I AM HOLY!", therefore, indicating that knowledge, wisdom, and, effort, DO, apply TO the righteous!!! NEVER forget, we were grafted in, and, if we do not bear fruit, as a dead branch, we will be pruned out, just as were, the natural branches!!!

We are not saved by works, instead, works PROVE HIM in us: they identify HIS own...

IF I claim ONENESS with *GOD*, through CHRIST JESUS, I am DEAD TO THE WORLD, THUS, LIVING as HIM, which is, hopefully, witnessed IN, and, THROUGH, my every thought, action, and, reaction; MEANING, I am, THROUGH CONSCIOUS application OF THE WORD, HIS COMMANDS, HIS WILL, REFLECTING righteousness, not, merely, FAITH! I become, the TRULY FRUITFUL branch, of THE VINE, the TRUE member of THE BODY/THE CHURCH, CHRIST JESUS, and, TESTIFY, then, GLORIFY, BOLDLY, BY my thoughts, actions, and, reactions, HIS name, because, HE IS WORTHY, and, IN HIS LOVE, has SHOWN me, how I OUGHT to exist, to which, I eagerly, adapt, and, comply!!!

MATTHEW 5:48...
So be perfect, just as your heavenly Father is perfect

1 PETER 1:14-16...
14/ Like obedient children, do not act in compliance with the desires of your former ignorance
15/ but, as he who called you is holy, be holy yourselves in every aspect of your conduct,
16/ for it is written, "Be holy because I (am) holy."

ROMANS 12:2...
Do not conform yourselves to this age but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and pleasing and perfect.

Conduct, in conformity to *GOD'S* WILL, marks the righteous; it is NOT because of guilt, or, ancient Laws, but, because of LOVE; LOVE for *GOD*, self, then, others! CHRIST JESUS gave us Commandments to live by, of which, the first is to LOVE *GOD*, with all of your mind, heart, and, soul; the second is, to LOVE one another!

LOVE COMPELS us to LIVE IN HIM, through conduct which conforms to *GOD*; in other words, morality, ethics, doing good, and, being good, and, ever striving to improve the spirit! It is about REFLECTING THE TRUTH, for ALL to bear witness to, FOR, and, TO HIS GLORY, RADIANTLY SHINING OF HIS POWER, GRACE, and, MERCIES!!!

It IS ALL ABOUT LOVE, baby, all about LOVE!!!

MATTHEW 4: 17...From that time on, Jesus began to preach and say, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand."

JOHN 14:15..."If you love me, you will keep my commandments.

NOTE: I do not intend to preach, rather to reach; to stir up, awaken, to inspire, and, bring forth, in discussion, that which is, perhaps, dormantly existing in the heart of hearts, thus, little, or, no, sugar coatings, just THE WORD of *GOD*, the TRUTH, along with some of my thoughts. And truth is, I am reminding myself always, as I practice these reminders, in the best of my abilities, and capacities, while RELYING on THE LORD to lead me on that narrow PATH---> MATTHEW 7: 14: "For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it... TO *GOD* BE ALL GLORY...

TUESDAY: TURNED UPWARD THOUGHTS...

You are not your own; you have been bought with a price (1 CORINTHIANS 6: 19-20)...

Some among the Corinthians seem to have been ready to say, All things are lawful for me. This dangerous conceit Paul opposes. There is a liberty wherewith Christ has made us free, in which we must stand fast.

Though after being born into this world, we take on behaviours of the world, such as errs, sins and other issues, THE TRUTH IS that THE GLORY & POWERS OF THE LORD *GOD* ALMIGHTY ARE MADE CLEAR, that is, they ARE MANIFEST THROUGH our repentance, and diligent improvement of the being! IN our adaption TO HIM, HIS WILL, HIS WAYS, HIS GLORY & POWERS ARE PROVEN OVER the authorities, powers, and principalities of this world, WHICH AIM to convince us of the ways of the world, since this is where we are, at this moment...

OVER & OVER again, is said, and it is written, "Repent for THE KINGDOM of *GOD* is at hand"! This KINGDOM IS slated for those who REPENT, and take off the prideful fleshy self, and put on CHRIST JESUS, and the robes of righteousness, ATTENDING to the TRUE SELF, the spirit, which IS that which WILL be brought into eternity, either WITH THE LORD *GOD*, or not!!!

TOO many in this world are excusing their behaviours, and desires by saying that *GOD* made them the way they are! This is COP OUT #1, and while our tendencies of the flesh ARE difficult to part with, that IS exactly WHAT we ARE to do IN our PARTNERSHIP WITH HIM, and HIS COVENANT of RECONCILIATION!!!

People get COMFORTABLE in their errs, sins, and wrongness, and then, before they know it, a LOT of time has passed, and they are no better off than they were, in fact, they might be way worse off, and all the farther lost! JUST because sin exists does NOT mean that we are to exist in it: this is where the lies of the world are made clear by THE TRUTH! It isn't that we won't sin, it is that we WORK on, WITH *GOD*, and THE HOLY SPIRIT to correct, and diminish as much of it as is feasible, ESPECIALLY those with which we are SO comfortable with, and which prove us to be yet in the flesh! For instance, a cheating Spouse, HAS the tools, and opportunities, TO OVERCOME their cheating ways, BUT IF they don't first acknowledge their wrongs, then accept WHY they are wrong, the chance of them repenting is greatly hindered! Mentality has much to do with EVERYTHING in this journey; it convinces of right or wrong, and allows us to do what is right or wrong, based upon what we allow the mind to convince us of, and SO, we need to KNOW for sure, what is what, BEFORE we claim that we are within our rights to continue living wrongly!!!

I have said this before, but I can't stop saying it, WHAT SENSE DOES IT MAKE to CLAIM to be OF *GOD*, and continue to live in ways of the world? The very idea that there is even room for discussion PROVES where we are at!!!

We are NOT our own, IF we CLAIM CHRIST JESUS as our LORD, and SAVIOUR! We have been RANSOMED with a price, a GREAT price; HIS PRECIOUS BLOOD; HE WHO THOUGH IN THE WORLD, and TEMPTED BY THE WORLD, REMAINED FREE OF SIN, AND IN THE WILL OF *GOD*, AS an example, and model for HIS own to FOLLOW! HE PROVED it CAN be done, and HE IS AS our SURE, and PRESENT HELPER TOWARDS VICTORY OVER THE WORLD! DOES it get any clearer than this???

*GOD'S* GLORY SHINES in the REMARKABLE FREEING of the spirit FROM the chains of the flesh! HIS POWER is MANIFEST THROUGH this FREEING, PROVING to the enemy HIS SOVEREIGNTY OVER ALL, and EVERYTHING! HE COULD JUST MAKE EACH OF HIS OWN RIGHTEOUS WITHOUT our participation, but WHAT does that prove to the enemy? You see, the enemy does NOT believe that ANY person HAS the will to do THE WILL OF *GOD*, because they are too weak, and too self-absorbed, BUT *GOD* KNOWS BETTER, BECAUSE IT HAS BEEN TRIED, TESTED, and PROVEN, THROUGH HIS GREAT SACRIFICE, and those who align TO HIM!!!

Fleshy desires HINDER the spirit, and TRUE growth as they are concentrated EXCLUSIVELY on personal satiation, NOTHING for THE LORD! PRIDE IS the root of the development of the chains which HINDER the spirit, and IS that which THE LORD *GOD* DETESTS about us! NOT that we are tempted by it, but that we CHOOSE it OVER what HE, and HIS WILL OFFER, and ARE! You see, when we CHOOSE to REMAIN in the flesh, our PRIDE IS SHOWING, for we do NOT consider THE LORD worthy of our stripping it off!!!

HONESTLY, it IS elementary, BUT the enemy HAS done a MAJOR job of disillusioning, and convincing us of otherwise! BUT, as LONG as there IS TODAY, we HAVE the opportunity to GET WITH IT, REPENT, and ADVANCE in knowledge, understanding, and a BETTER way; THE WAY TO TRUE LIFE! THIS time IS rapidly fading, and ALL in this world WILL cease to exist, and all that will be left IS the soul of EVERY being ever CREATED TO STAND BEFORE THE LORD *GOD* ALMIGHTY, WHOM WILL RENDER A JUDGEMENT, and TAKE or LEAVE souls BASED ON their existence in this realm!!!

What is against *GOD* is like waste, and WILL be dealt with, and done away with! Just because it feels good to the fleshy being, doesn't make it right, nor healthy, nor is there ANY POSITIVE involved, save for what the mind convinces us of in the moment!!!

A cheater generally gets caught, and/or worse; this works the same for EVERY issue which the flesh is bound to; there ARE consequences IN the now, and SURELY, when we bow before *GOD*!!!

Let us GET REAL, and GET WHERE WE BELONG! Let us STOP copping out, and making excuses, and worse yet, blaming THE LORD for the way we are! Let us LEARN THE TRUTH, and make our decisions based on that, NOT on fleshiness!!!

It is written that *GOD* IS PATIENT BECAUSE HE DOES NOT WANT ANY TO PERISH, but that DOESN'T mean that HE is NOT taking note of what is done in every nano-second of this day in this crazy, mixed-up, and self-inclined world! TODAY IS THE DAY to TURN TO HIM, and HE WILL TURN TO YOU, and REAL LIFE will begin, FULL of HIS BLESSINGS!!!

SO many people ARE perishing WITHOUT ever thinking about what is ahead, and this IS the greatest travesty EVER, BECAUSE they NEVER took one moment FOR THE LORD, instead ALL for the self, the flesh, which DOES cease to exist, and SO the spirit, the soul, HAS been compromised WHICH IS THE GREATEST SIN OF ALL, SINCE WE DO NOT BELONG TO OURSELVES, INSTEAD, TO THE LORD *GOD* ALMIGHTY!!!
