Thanksgiving for the LORD's Favor

Psalms 138 (A Psalm of David)
1/ I will praise thee with my whole heart: before the gods will I sing praise unto thee.
2/ I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy loving-kindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.
3/ In the day when I cried thou answeredst me, and strengthenedst me with strength in my soul.
4/ All the kings of the earth shall praise thee, O LORD, when they hear the words of thy mouth.
5/ Yea, they shall sing in the ways of the LORD: for great is the glory of the LORD.
6/ Though the LORD be high, yet hath he respect unto the lowly: but the proud he knoweth afar off.
7/ Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me: thou shalt stretch forth thine hand against the wrath of mine enemies, and thy right hand shall save me.
8/ The LORD will perfect that which concerneth me:
thy mercy, O LORD, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands... AMEN!!!

One CANNOT earn GRACE, it is HIS own ESSENCE; a gift, still, IF one claims to be IN HIS GRACE, we ARE to, or, OUGHT to, be reflections of that GRACE! 2 CORINTHIANS 6:1, tells us not to take HIS GRACE in vain! This means, living in LOVE, morality, ethics, virtue, righteousness, and, spiritual improvement, TOWARDS, spiritual maturity, WHILE, visibly BEING as LIGHTS, beaming OF *GOD*, beckoning the world, TO THE LIGHT! Righteousness MEANS, conduct in conformity with *GOD'S* WILL, and, "Be HOLY because I AM HOLY!", therefore, indicating that knowledge, wisdom, and, effort, DO, apply TO the righteous!!! NEVER forget, we were grafted in, and, if we do not bear fruit, as a dead branch, we will be pruned out, just as were, the natural branches!!!

We are not saved by works, instead, works PROVE HIM in us: they identify HIS own...

IF I claim ONENESS with *GOD*, through CHRIST JESUS, I am DEAD TO THE WORLD, THUS, LIVING as HIM, which is, hopefully, witnessed IN, and, THROUGH, my every thought, action, and, reaction; MEANING, I am, THROUGH CONSCIOUS application OF THE WORD, HIS COMMANDS, HIS WILL, REFLECTING righteousness, not, merely, FAITH! I become, the TRULY FRUITFUL branch, of THE VINE, the TRUE member of THE BODY/THE CHURCH, CHRIST JESUS, and, TESTIFY, then, GLORIFY, BOLDLY, BY my thoughts, actions, and, reactions, HIS name, because, HE IS WORTHY, and, IN HIS LOVE, has SHOWN me, how I OUGHT to exist, to which, I eagerly, adapt, and, comply!!!

MATTHEW 5:48...
So be perfect, just as your heavenly Father is perfect

1 PETER 1:14-16...
14/ Like obedient children, do not act in compliance with the desires of your former ignorance
15/ but, as he who called you is holy, be holy yourselves in every aspect of your conduct,
16/ for it is written, "Be holy because I (am) holy."

ROMANS 12:2...
Do not conform yourselves to this age but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and pleasing and perfect.

Conduct, in conformity to *GOD'S* WILL, marks the righteous; it is NOT because of guilt, or, ancient Laws, but, because of LOVE; LOVE for *GOD*, self, then, others! CHRIST JESUS gave us Commandments to live by, of which, the first is to LOVE *GOD*, with all of your mind, heart, and, soul; the second is, to LOVE one another!

LOVE COMPELS us to LIVE IN HIM, through conduct which conforms to *GOD*; in other words, morality, ethics, doing good, and, being good, and, ever striving to improve the spirit! It is about REFLECTING THE TRUTH, for ALL to bear witness to, FOR, and, TO HIS GLORY, RADIANTLY SHINING OF HIS POWER, GRACE, and, MERCIES!!!

It IS ALL ABOUT LOVE, baby, all about LOVE!!!

MATTHEW 4: 17...From that time on, Jesus began to preach and say, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand."

JOHN 14:15..."If you love me, you will keep my commandments.

NOTE: I do not intend to preach, rather to reach; to stir up, awaken, to inspire, and, bring forth, in discussion, that which is, perhaps, dormantly existing in the heart of hearts, thus, little, or, no, sugar coatings, just THE WORD of *GOD*, the TRUTH, along with some of my thoughts. And truth is, I am reminding myself always, as I practice these reminders, in the best of my abilities, and capacities, while RELYING on THE LORD to lead me on that narrow PATH---> MATTHEW 7: 14: "For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it... TO *GOD* BE ALL GLORY...

THURSDAY: TOWERING TRUTH(S)...

THE LORD *GOD* ALMIGHTY IS SPIRIT---

This is a very deep, and far reaching TRUTH about *GOD*, and does not leave room for humanizing HIM, though HE did appear on Earth in human form as CHRIST JESUS, FOR purposes involving HIS WILL, and our RECONCILIATION process. Throughout THE BIBLE *GOD* is referred to as HE, and in a masculine sense, which some have tried to change, but which has stood through time, and will continue to do so! In the first place WHAT difference does it make if HE refers to HIMSELF in the masculine sense or not? WHY do people always have to find something to nit-pik in THE WORD, and with *GOD*? Does it demean a Woman, for real, if *GOD* is a SPIRIT of masculinity???

Yah, I know, humans wrote THE BIBLE, thus, there is room for err, so says the world! WHAT DOES THE BIBLE say?
2 TIMOTHY 3: 16...
All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness;

2 PETER 1: 21...
for no prophecy was ever made by an act of human will, but men moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God.

ALL Scripture was penned by Men DIRECTED, and under the influence of THE HOLY SPIRIT, *GOD*, and should NOT be questioned as to it's validity! It is senseless IF we TRUST *GOD* to question anything HE HAS, and does put forth FOR our benefit, which works towards HIS GLORY!!!

*GOD* if SPIRIT has no hands, ears, or mouth, and yet, throughout SCRIPTURE there are references to these; it is FOR the sake of making it easier to RELATE to in our limited understanding! Although, *GOD* CAN, and HAS appeared in human form, as Man, HE REMAINS SPIRIT, and an ENTITY, and a PRESENCE, WHOM HAS POWER OVER ALL, and EVERYTHING, EVEN to the point of appearing as Man to the world!!!

People would be way better off ACTUALLY studying THE BIBLE, and refraining from IMAGINING things about *GOD*, or fantasizing HIM into humanness! One should not question HIM, nor test HIM, and it seems when people come up with all these challenges to THE WORD, they are doing so! WHO can challenge whether *GOD* might be male or female in design? WHAT purpose does it serve in any way, shape or form? *GOD* IS *GOD*, and IS ABOVE ALL, and EVERYTHING, unprecedented in EVERY way!!!

Those who are taken into THE KINGDOM will be changed in an instant, INTO HIS LIKENESS, which IS our TRUTH! It IS the SOUL which will LIVE eternally WITH HIM, NO humanness remaining!!! 1 JOHN 3: 2...
Beloved, now we are children of God, and it has not appeared as yet what we will be. We know that when He appears, we will be like Him, because we will see Him just as He is.

There has been, and is a movement in this world to alter, and change THE WORD OF *GOD*: there is great danger in doing so, as is written, in which case there are 34 references, beginning in DEUTERONOMY, all the way through to REVELATION;
REVELATION 22: 18-19...
18+++I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues which are written in this book;
19+++and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his part from the tree of life and from the holy city, which are written in this book.

To say that God is spirit is to say that God the Father is invisible. Colossians 1:15 calls God the “invisible God.” 1 Timothy 1:17 praises God, saying, “To the King of the ages, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever.”

Even though God is spirit, He is also a living, personal being. As such, we can know Him personally. Joshua 3:10 speaks of God in this way, saying, “You will know that the living God is among you.” Psalm 84:2 declares, “My heart and flesh sing for joy to the living God”.

Philosophically, God must be a spirit in order to be infinite. Also, if God was limited to a physical body, He could not be omnipresent (in all places at once). God the Father is not limited to the dimensional restrictions of created things but can exist in all places at one time. God is the uncreated First Cause that is the power behind all other beings.

Interestingly, in John 4:24 Jesus makes the connection between God being spirit and worshiping Him in spirit and in truth. The idea is that, since God is spirit, people must worship Him accurately (in truth) and in spirit (with their soul or heart), as opposed to relying on traditions, rituals, and physical locales.

WHY can't we allow THE LORD *GOD* ALMIGHTY TO BE WHOM, and WHAT HE IS, SOVEREIGN RULER OVER ALL, and EVERYTHING, and STOP trying to perfect what is already PERFECT? We have SO much work to do FOR HIS GLORY, and the greater good of others, it amazes me how much time people find to challenge everything which is GIVEN to us as GIFTS FOR our growth, development, protection, and sure arrival into HIS PRESENCE eternal!!!

It is healthy to have questions, no doubt, but NOT to question THE ONE TRUE, and LIVING LORD *GOD*! Questions which help us to grow are sensible, but questioning HIM who HAS THE POWER to GIVE, or take LIFE doesn't serve any purpose, and SHOWS the measure of a persons FAITH, and FAITHFULNESS!!!

Instead of trying to change, or alter THE WORD OF *GOD*, and/or *GOD*, time is to be spent more wisely trying to change the world with HIS LOVE, HIS PROMISES, and HIS EXAMPLE: GRABBING from the fire of evil, those we might!!!
