THE TRUTH ALWAYS SPEAKS THE LOUDEST...

I have heard it said that Noah was a drunkard, but the TRUTH says that he was the first to plant a vineyard, and to taste the harvest, and did not KNOW it would inebriate him. He was shamed by his own sons, consequently, and thereafter, there was never another mention of him being drunk...

There are reports flying the world over, that the Ark which Noah built was round, like a bowl, but if we read the measurements, as *GOD* is instructing Noah to build this ark, we see that it is not likely, and not only that, an onslaught of continuous rain for 40 days, and 40 nights, with currents, and turbulence, would case a round vessel to spin, spin, and spin some more; then, when *GOD* began to blow on the waters to dry them up, one can imagine that created more currents, waves, and turbulence, and LOGIC says it doesn't make sense, not only this, but IF there had ever been a round, bowl shaped vessel on the waters, they would yet exist today, since ship building is pretty close to ancient standards. This is my opinion of course, but seriously, logically, it makes no sense whatsoever, unless it had something like ski's on it, like a jet ski, and a bow, which then, would alter it's shape from round, or bowl! NOTHING is impossible for *GOD*, though, the measurements don't depict a round, or bowl shaped object...

See, there are SO many human perceptions embellishing, humanizing, and enhancing THE TRUTH, that we MUST TRULY READ THE WORD, time, and time again FOR THE TRUTH to be revealed, and to fasten in us, that we are not carried away by all sorts of human teachings, beliefs, and so forth...

I am just thinking out loud, so to speak, but really, that people rush to believe almost anything presented to them, speaks clearly, and loudly, that MORE devotion to THE BIBLE is in order, so that, as is written, we are always able to, with *GODLY* instruction, discern what is TRUTH, and what is of the world...

That is, about 450 feet long, 75 feet wide and 45 feet high or about 135 meters long, 23 meters wide and 14 meters high.

God told Noah his purpose to destroy the wicked world by water. The secret of the Lord is with them that fear him, Ps 25:14. 

It is with all believers, enabling them to understand and apply the declarations and warnings of the written word. God chose to do it by a flood of waters, which should drown the world. As he chooses the rod with which he corrects his children, so he chooses the sword with which he cuts off his enemies. 

God established his covenant with Noah. This is the first place in the Bible where the word 'covenant' is found; it seems to mean, 
1. The covenant of providence; that the course of nature shall be continued to the end of time. 
2. The covenant of grace; that God would be a God to Noah, and that out of his seed God would take to himself a people. God directed Noah to make an ark. 

This ark was like the hulk of a ship, fitted to float upon the waters. It was very large, half the size of St. Paul's cathedral, and would hold more than eighteen of the largest ships now used (1600-1700's: 70-100 ft. long, average, some were bigger).  

God could have secured Noah without putting him to any care, or pains, or trouble; but employed him in making that which was to be the means to preserve him, for the trial of his faith and obedience. Both the providence of God, and the grace of God, own and crown the obedient and diligent. 

God gave Noah particular orders how to make the ark, which could not therefore but be well fitted for the purpose. God promised Noah that he and his family should be kept alive in the ark. What we do in obedience to God, we and our families are likely to have the benefit of. The piety of parents gets their children good in this life, and furthers them in the way to eternal life, if they improve it.
