CHIT & CHAT...

What a beautiful morning it was, but, the rest of the day promises to be sweltering, and muggy, as will be, much of the USA, but, that's alright, we had a fantastic Summer this far, and were, by the GRACE OF *GOD*, spared the awful storms that we have had in recent years! There were a couple of bad ones, but nothing devastating like in recent years, SO, we HAVE to THANK *GOD* for giving us some reprieve, which saves us, in MANY imperative areas! AMEN???

The storms of life TEACH us, whether we experience them firsthand, or from a distance (weather, or otherwise); their effects touch us all, especially the sort that we have witnessed in the past decade! They teach us how fragile life is, how unpredictable times are, and how little we can rely on our comfort zones, or that we SHOULDN'T be quite so complacent in any given day! They also, teach us to endure, persevere, and that we CAN survive even the worst of circumstances, rebuild, and move forward, HOPEFULLY, closer to *GOD*, and HIS WILL...

It is Wednesday, that half way point of the week; a day when we are grateful that we made it through the first part, and are now looking forward to the end of the week! We are taught not to look behind, nor forward, instead to embrace THIS moment, of this hour, of this day, for THIS IS the time we have to make better, but alas, the human condition is right there:)))

Life is an extreme of zig-zagging, full of UPS, then downs, HIGHS, then lows, but, that is what keeps us alert, flexible, and ever learning! The key is to NOT get tied down in the downs, and lows, but to let the HEIGHTS of the UPS, and HIGHS, ELEVATE us as we maneuver through the less than wonderful! Often, all we CAN do, is to RELY ON *GOD*, and PRAY for HIM to lead us through! This is great, because this IS how it should be, and makes the journey all the more navigable, for we KNOW HE IS at the helm, but, it takes knowledge, understanding, and SOLID FAITH to live this way, which WILL be tested a time or two, a day, thanks be to the negatives of this world...

Do most of us KNOW HOW POWERFUL PRAYER, and FAITH REALLY ARE? I don't think so, because IF we did, both would have been proven in more people! I think most people get discouraged so easily, because they don't SEE instant results, but, one HAS to remember, *GOD'S* time is NOT like our time, and then, HIS WILL PREVAILS OVER all else, and perhaps we NEED to learn, or experience some things in the meantime! I don't think I could handle being THE LORD, because HE takes a LOT of flak because of our impatience, and discontent, and well, there is ALWAYS something! All the more reason for me to ADORE HIM:)))

Life is NOTHING without *GOD*! And, in fact, there is NO life without HIM, no matter that we forget this! HE HAS PROVIDED ALL that we see, hear, smell, touch, and taste, and HE OUGHT TO BE REVERED FOR STILL BEING IN OUR LIVES; since the beginning of time, HE HAS been cast aside, heard all of our complaints, and has felt the discord in this world. ONLY HE COULD handle SO much from us! That's the unfathomable depth of HIS LOVE for us, and, HIS reluctance to leave us to ourselves, and that ever busy enemy! PRAISE THE LORD, WORSHIP HIS HOLINESS, REJOICE IN HIS LOVE FOR US, and HONOUR HIM with the BEST we can muster!!!

Have a beautiful day/night, may *GOD* BE with us ALL, and may HE BLESS us! May we, in turn, BLESS others, if only one! MUCH LOVE, take care, and MAKE this GIFT of a day worthy, for the good of others, but mostly, FOR HIS GLORY!!! OXOXOXOXO
