THE STORY OF PURE GLORY...

Born of a sacred, immaculate birth,

*GOD* as Man, came to Earth;

JESUS is HIS name,

HOLINESS HIS claim...

 

Prophecy declared this event,

Long before HIS descent

From the HEAVENS above,

In an unprecedented, and radical act of LOVE...

 

Some recognized HIM, many did not,

Though HE was far, and wide, sought.

HIS people did not receive HIM, for they believed HE would come in grandiosity,

This humble servant did not fit their ideal of how HE should be...

 

No problem, THE LORD had it all worked out long before; HIS WILL BE DONE,

It doesn't matter if it is accepted by everyone;

It would work according to HIS PLAN, in which SALVATION would bring,

All others into the presence of, THE ONE TRUE KING...

 

On a beautiful, clear night, the skies opened up to HIS GLORY,

To fulfill what to many, is nothing but a story;

HE came down to rest in a manger, under the star that the 3 Magi followed to see,

This miracle which brought forth a DIVINE, and absolute SOVEREIGN, baby...

 

From that hour forward the fate of humanity was given HOPE, and LIFE;

GRACE, and MERCY would ease the endless strife,

IF one is willing to accept CHRIST JESUS as their SAVIOUR, and LORD,

And align to HIS instructions detailed perfectly, in HIS WORD...

 

Evil, and wickedness inclined people to sin against *GOD*, against each other too,

From early on, the weakness for temptation, grew, and grew,

To the point where it seemed normal, at least it is considered so,

By those who, THE TRUTH, do not yet know...

 

When I AM arrived on this planet, HE suffered in more ways than not,

Necessary to the lessons which were to be to HIS CHOSEN, taught,

So that they would understand that HE can relate to everyone, and everything,

Ah, such brilliance, and genius into the world, HE did bring...

 

HIS time here was not that long, it wasn't meant to be, but it was intense,

As of eternity, HE must reach whom HE might, with an urgent sense,

Of what is to come, and of the choices between LIFE, or death,

No, HE didn't waste one moment of HIS PRECIOUS breath...

 

A few thousand years ago, the deal was sealed, and the enemy,

Was condemned forever; that HIS OWN might be free;

Sharing HIS PERFECT NATURE with selfless affection, and care,

Our LORD LIFTED us from constant despair...

 

Still, we are far from where we could be IF we opened up ourselves, honestly,

IF we could just believe that the REAL world is waiting for us, anxiously;

THE KINGDOM IS our home; it IS Eden only better, and without end,

It is more than we could ask for, still, it is SO difficult for most to comprehend...

 

It is CHRISTmas, THE HOLY days that we celebrate each year,

Though, not fully, as is evident in all of the misery, ever so near!

May we detach from this realm, and fasten to HIM; let JOY begin;

We CAN RELY ON THE LORD *GOD* to make us happier than we have ever been!!!

 

PRAISE THE LORD *GOD* ALMIGHTY FOR HIS GIFT of PURE LOVE, and MAJESTY;

WORSHIP HIM evermore, and HONOUR HIM endlessly!

THANK YOU CHRIST JESUS, YOU ARE our ONLY WAY, TRUTH, and LIGHT,

Let us GLORIFY YOU as we FOLLOW YOU, day and night!!!
