One thing is certain, nothing is usual this year,
Except that *GOD* IS EVER NEAR!!!
Centuries ago, on a cold dark night,
Three shepherds were impacted by a star so bright,
As angels did speak to them, and point the way,
To where CHRIST JESUS did, in a manger lay...
The event was prophesied long before, by pious Men,
Who opened their hearts to *GOD*, and let HIM in;
HE spoke to them, instructing them in what was to be,
They obeyed, and trusted HIM, even in that which they could not, nor would ever, see...
Passed down from generations, this BLESSED miracle finally manifested,
To which many have attested;
Though the numbers of non-believers yet grow,
There is no way to bring TRUTH low...
EMMANUEL; *GOD* IS WITH US; THE KING IS BORN,
IS THE MESSAGE to humanity, so tried, and worn;
A SAVIOUR has arrived to bring us into the fold,
Which is warmed by THE LORD *GOD'S* own hold...
Whether hungry, homeless, impoverished, weary, or suffering of any kind,
The GLORIOUS example of HIS LOVE, does strengthen body, and mind,
And IS worth celebration; IS worth of humility, awe, and reverence, too,
Because of ALL that THE LORD has done, and is doing for YOU!!!
Worldly troubles are brought on by our erroneous ways, by our carnality,
They increase the farther we move FROM HIM, and our reality!
Regardless of the agony right now,
In this moment, there IS HOPE enough to WOW!!!
PRAISE BE TO *GOD* WHOSE LOVE for us DOES RULE,
Unto HIM, each of us is like a precious jewel;
That HE doesn't want to lose, or let turn to dross,
Hence, THE PLAN for SALVATION, via a birth, and a cross!!!
You see, even in the darkest darkness, there IS LIGHT,
HIS GLORY IS EVER IN SIGHT;
Bringing to those who seek HIM, PEACE in a mysterious process,
For the sake of protecting them in the midst of this mess!!!
HOLD ONTO *GOD*, GIVE HIM ALL you are, BE encouraged IN HIS affection,
FOCUS on HIM, and you will not lose direction!
WORSHIP HIM even when time has made it difficult to be devout,
ONLY HE CAN, and WILL from the valley, bring you out!!!
Let us REJOICE IN JOY, for CHRIST IS BORN in a realm not so great;
Let us be thankful, for HIS LOVE did NOT hesitate,
To deliver us from what would destroy us, now, and evermore;
Sing, dance, and celebrate THE LORD *GOD* ALMIGHTY, like never before,
This IS the hour of reckoning, that's for sure!!!
