For ANYONE who is IN CHRIST JESUS, THE OBJECTIVE IS TO ACKNOWLEDGE ourselves, our shortcomings, our errs, and our CHOSEN sins, THEN to REPENT OF THEM, work through them, and train IN RIGHTEOUSNESS THAT we might be knowledgeable, and informed enough to RESIST them, and BATTLE them as they appear, or reappear! We HAVE been FORGIVEN for our past sins, yet, we ARE expected to refrain from more, or future ones! AND IN this, we should not be overly concerned about the sins of others, as we have MUCH improvement to be made in our own selves!!!
MANY ARE those who THINK that because they claim CHRIST JESUS as their LORD, and SAVIOUR, they may do as they please in this GIFT of SALVATION! That doesn't even make sense, let alone HONOUR this GIFT, so, it is an empty, worldly perspective full of selfish hope that it might be true, THAT they might exist in both the worlds ways, and in *GOD*!!!
SOME are really defeated by their sins/errs, and though they TRY to overcome them, they are pounded by them daily, even hourly, and so, this predicament is a bit different than those that CHOOSE to continue in their FAVOURED ways! THE LORD KNOWS each of us WAY better than we know ourselves, therefore, HE IS FAIR in HIS JUSTICE...
What many don't realize is THE TRUTH OF DYING to the world, and COMING TO LIFE IN THE LORD! Dying to the world means dying to sin; in other words, we are NOT chained to sin, nor imprisoned by it any longer, BECAUSE WE KNOW we ARE ABOVE it, and ARE OF THE LORD, whose WILL, and WAYS ARE FAR better, as well as MORE OPTIMIZING than those of this fading, dying world in which we placed for a short time, but which WILL PROVE us, one way or another!!!
BEING OF THE LORD INVOLVES WORK: working THROUGH our SALVATION with fear, and trembling; with *GODLY* SORROW for our past sins, and GROWING INTO OUR TRUTH which IS quite contrary to what the world taught us, instilled in us, and expects us to believe; those FRUITS OF THE SPIRIT WHICH REFLECT HIM! You see, the world is setting us up for FAILURE in REACHING our TRUTH, and THE KINGDOM! ONLY IN CHRIST JESUS, CAN we BE SAVED, and PERFECTED, which happens as a PROCESS, in which we are PRO-ACTIVE, AWAKE, and AWARE OF and TO OUR TRUTH!!!
IF we ARE ONE WITH *GOD*, we are NO LONGER one with the world! This means our entire being has RADICALLY changed TO ALIGN TO HIM, HIS WILL, and HIS WAYS; NOT for show, but for the sake of BECOMING FREELY WHOM HE CREATED us TO BE; Children OF THE MOST HIGH *GOD*, and THE KINGDOM! We CANNOT do this by ourselves, we NEED THE LORD TO work IN us, THROUGH us, and AROUND us, YET, we HAVE duties, responsibilities, and functions therein!!!
As my own sins decrease, I am still no better than anyone else on this planet, BECAUSE I am NOT yet perfected, NOR without sin! Sin presents itself in multitudes of ways, all of our days, and so, we are not yet rid of them! EACH persons walk WITH THE LORD *GOD* IS different than the next persons, SO, we have NO grounds, rights, or room to judge, and condemn other peoples sins/errs! Instead, we should be BUSY IMPROVING upon ourselves, and PRAYING for everyone else!!!
The problem with the world teaching us, is that EGOCENTRICITY IS prevalent, thus PRIDE, which IS enmity with *GOD*, so you see, right there we have a problem, and are NOT aligned to HIM, NOR THE TRUTH! SO many IMAGINE they are better, more this, more that, than others, but they FAIL to HONESTLY assess themselves BEFORE they do so to others! And so, we have LOTS of problems interacting/co-existing, because ASSUMPTION of SUPERIORITY exists, and leads people astray!!!
We can call sin for what it is, but we CANNOT assume that someones sin is worse than our own, NOR can we DETERMINE their fate when they meet THE LORD *GOD*! It bothers me greatly to hear people tell others that they are going to hell; we know NOT what *GOD* intends for ANY, and to assume to, is well, a sin/err!
*GOD* says in EXODUS 33 & ROMANS 9: 15: He says to Moses: “I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion.”
Whatever God does, must be just. Wherein the holy, happy people of God differ from others, God's grace alone makes them differ. In this preventing, effectual, distinguishing grace, he acts as a benefactor, whose grace is his own. None have deserved it; so that those who are saved, must thank God only; and those who perish, must blame themselves only, Hos 13:9. God is bound no further than he has been pleased to bind himself by his own covenant and promise, which is his revealed will. And this is, that he will receive, and not cast out, those that come to Christ; but the drawing of souls in order to that coming, is an anticipating, distinguishing favour to whom he will. Why does he yet find fault? This is not an objection to be made by the creature against his Creator, by man against God. The truth, as it is in Jesus, abases man as nothing, as less than nothing, and advances God as sovereign Lord of all. Who art thou that art so foolish, so feeble, so unable to judge the Divine counsels? It becomes us to submit to him, not to reply against him. Would not men allow the infinite God the same sovereign right to manage the affairs of the creation, as the potter exercises in disposing of his clay, when of the same lump he makes one vessel to a more honourable, and one to a meaner use?
There IS SO much to LEARN, and TO TAKE TO HEART, for our own good, the good of others, AND HIS GLORY, HOWEVER, most will spend time wrapped up in misconception, worldly ways, and personal opinions, as well as judgements! We COULD make time on Earth as THE GARDEN, instead, we seem content existing in erroneous, hostile, subjective, and self-inclined behaviours, thus, the world of contention increases, destructs, and destroys!!!
It IS ALL FOR HIS GLORY, and in that GLORY, GRACE AND MERCY for those whom seek HIM IN SPIRIT, and TRUTH!!!
