*GOD* IS ALWAYS GOOD; people are not! Right now, when we most need HIM, because of the slew of troubles we are hit with, more people are acting according to the flesh, and NOT according to HIM! People are behaving carelessly, callously, selfishly, and with great arrogance! People are understandably scared, frustrated, and agitated, HOWEVER, many are rebelling against things which are not under our control, or cannot be eradicated, SAVE for by the POWERS OF THE LORD! AND, some are ADDING to the problems, because they THINK they are above suffering, in which case they revolt, as if!!!
When people become stubborn, and hard headed, God will eventually turn them over to the hardness of their hearts and no longer plead with them. The sad result of such mulish obstinance is made clear in Romans 2:5: “Because of your stubbornness and your unrepentant heart, you are storing up wrath against yourself for the day of God’s wrath, when his righteous judgment will be revealed.”

Whoever loves discipline loves knowledge, but he who hates reproof is stupid.
Those who have grace, will delight in the instructions given them. Those that stifle their convictions, are like brutes.
THE LORD *GOD*, BECAUSE OF HIS LOVE FOR us, WILL TEACH us lessons, WILL DISCIPLINE us, and WILL PUNISH us, ALL for our own good, and growth, and when the world increases in evil instead of in knowledge, or receiving HIM, well, HE ACTS FOR THE GOOD OF ALL, which means HIS anger is stoked, thus, spent! HE may cause any number of instances where we will be FORCED to CONSIDER our role in what is wrong, and to TEACH us to TURN TO HIM in order to have an abundant, and BLESSED existence! HE HAS TOLD us what HE expects of us, or OUR part of THE COVENANT, which many, or even most conveniently, or purposefully cast aside, or forget, as what is of the world holds that much sway, AND most people DON'T want to have to reckon with HIM, or themselves; they just want to have it all, while giving nothing, especially to HIM. SO, as the wicked ways of the world influence more, *GOD* steps in, and HOPES that some might look UP, and be humbled before HIM! HE forces our hand, you might say...
When generations become stubborn, and rebellious, they are NOT steadfast in THE LORD, and their spirit is NOT FAITHFUL TO *GOD* (PSALM 78: 8)!
A stubborn and rebellious generation - Stiff-necked, ungovernable; inclined to revolt. Nothing was more remarkable in their early history than this.
A generation that set not their heart aright - Margin, as in Hebrew, "prepared not their heart." That is, they took no pains to keep their heart aright, or to cherish right feelings toward God. They yielded to any sudden impulse of passion, even when it led them to revolt against God. This is as true of sinners now as it was of them, that they "take no pains" to have their hearts right with God. If they did, there would be no difficulty in doing it. It is not with them "an object of desire" to have their hearts right with God, and hence, nothing is more easy or natural than that they should rebel and go astray.
TODAY we are witnessing exactly this! People ARE giving in to every impulse, and passion, VOID of regard for what is to come for their souls, nor for the state they are creating for the future here, on Earth! THIS HAS to be stopped, as we ARE headed in a down spin that WILL be more than devastating, for us, and for those of the future, IF there will even be a future! NO ONE IS THINKING past their impulses, and passions, as they insist on resistance TO everything else, including *GOD*, and what WORKS for the GOOD of ALL!!!
EVERYTHING WE NEED FOR A GREAT EXPERIENCE ON this Earth IS FOUND IN *GOD*, and *GODLINESS*, HOWEVER, FEW have the WILL to OPEN UP TO the GOOD within, and renounce the wrongs of the world, BECAUSE they find comfort in what is usual, EVEN IF what is customary IS bad, wrong, and unjust! This too, derives from obstinacy, and egocentricity!!!
ZECHARIAH 7: 8-14...
8+++Then the word of the LORD came to Zechariah, saying,
9+++“This is what the LORD of Hosts says: ‘Administer true justice. Show loving devotiond and compassion to one another.
10+++Do not oppress the widow or the fatherless, the foreigner or the poor. And do not plot evil in your hearts against one another.’
11+++But they refused to pay attention and turned a stubborn shoulder; they stopped up their ears from hearing.
12+++They made their hearts like flint and would not listen to the law or to the words that the LORD of Hosts had sent by His Spirit through the earlier prophets. Therefore great anger came from the LORD of Hosts.
13+++And just as I had called and they would not listen, so when they called I would not listen, says the LORD of Hosts.
14+++But I scattered them with a whirlwind among all the nations that they had not known, and the land was left desolate behind them so that no one could come or go. Thus they turned the pleasant land into a desolation.”
God's judgements upon Israel of old for their sins, were written to warn Christians. The duties required are, not keeping fasts and offering sacrifices, but doing justly and loving mercy, which tend to the public welfare and peace. The law of God lays restraint upon the heart. But they filled their minds with prejudices against the word of God. Nothing is harder than the heart of a presumptuous sinner. See the fatal consequences of this to their fathers. Great sins against the Lord of hosts, bring great wrath from his power, which cannot be resisted. Sin, if regarded in the heart, will certainly spoil the success of prayer. The Lord always hears the cry of the broken-hearted penitent; yet all who die impenitent and unbelieving, will find no remedy or refuge from miseries which while here they despised and defied, but which they then will not be able to bear.
As a FATHER, *GOD* GETS MAD at people, and then, even though they wail, PRAY, or whatever, HE doesn't listen to them for a while, as HE empties HIS wrath, and until at least some repent, and humble themselves! You see, IN THIS HOUR, we have Covid19, cities burning, unrest, storms, floods, famine, pestilence, and more, ALL AT THE SAME TIME, and we ARE enduring a great deal, WHICH OUGHT TO CAUSE us to consider ourselves, but instead, HAS provoked an uprising, one which CANNOT bring resolution, peace, or change for the GOOD, as it is grounded in defiance, and disregard for *GOD*, and ALL which is RIGHT, GOOD, and JUST! We MUST THINK about this, as the more hard headed people get, the more they will act out in ways unprofitable!!!
The end of the woes we endure LIES IN THE LORD *GOD*, whether anyone wants to admit it, or not! HE ALONE, IS THE SOVEREIGN, ALMIGHTY *GOD*, WHOM SEEKS ALL to FOLLOW HIM, and to OBEY HIM, which is NOT a ball and weight, but IS FREEDOM, BLESSINGS, and THRIVING! It IS EXISTENCE EXTRAORDINAIRE! It IS POWERFUL LIVING! It IS OPTIMAL, AND OPTIMIZING!!!
It IS becoming more difficult to reach people in these times, as there IS a darkness expanding the more headstrong they are in conviction of their own power OVER THE LORD'S PURE POWER, and SOLE POWER! They are deluded, confused, and belligerent IN these convictions, and don't WANT to acknowledge themselves, nor that *GOD* WILL LEAD them, YET, I will NEVER relent, as my greatest HOPE IS that ALL ARE SAVED, and find TRUE HAPPINESS, PEACE, and the absolute JOY OF THE LORD *GOD* ALMIGHTY!!!
TRUTH WILL REMAIN regardless of those who deny, or defy it!!!
