HEAVENLY INCLINED...: SUNDAY: CALL UPON THE LORD!!!

Thanksgiving for the LORD's Favor

Psalms 138 (A Psalm of David)
1/ I will praise thee with my whole heart: before the gods will I sing praise unto thee.
2/ I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy loving-kindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.
3/ In the day when I cried thou answeredst me, and strengthenedst me with strength in my soul.
4/ All the kings of the earth shall praise thee, O LORD, when they hear the words of thy mouth.
5/ Yea, they shall sing in the ways of the LORD: for great is the glory of the LORD.
6/ Though the LORD be high, yet hath he respect unto the lowly: but the proud he knoweth afar off.
7/ Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me: thou shalt stretch forth thine hand against the wrath of mine enemies, and thy right hand shall save me.
8/ The LORD will perfect that which concerneth me:
thy mercy, O LORD, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands... AMEN!!!

One CANNOT earn GRACE, it is HIS own ESSENCE; a gift, still, IF one claims to be IN HIS GRACE, we ARE to, or, OUGHT to, be reflections of that GRACE! 2 CORINTHIANS 6:1, tells us not to take HIS GRACE in vain! This means, living in LOVE, morality, ethics, virtue, righteousness, and, spiritual improvement, TOWARDS, spiritual maturity, WHILE, visibly BEING as LIGHTS, beaming OF *GOD*, beckoning the world, TO THE LIGHT! Righteousness MEANS, conduct in conformity with *GOD'S* WILL, and, "Be HOLY because I AM HOLY!", therefore, indicating that knowledge, wisdom, and, effort, DO, apply TO the righteous!!! NEVER forget, we were grafted in, and, if we do not bear fruit, as a dead branch, we will be pruned out, just as were, the natural branches!!!

We are not saved by works, instead, works PROVE HIM in us: they identify HIS own...

IF I claim ONENESS with *GOD*, through CHRIST JESUS, I am DEAD TO THE WORLD, THUS, LIVING as HIM, which is, hopefully, witnessed IN, and, THROUGH, my every thought, action, and, reaction; MEANING, I am, THROUGH CONSCIOUS application OF THE WORD, HIS COMMANDS, HIS WILL, REFLECTING righteousness, not, merely, FAITH! I become, the TRULY FRUITFUL branch, of THE VINE, the TRUE member of THE BODY/THE CHURCH, CHRIST JESUS, and, TESTIFY, then, GLORIFY, BOLDLY, BY my thoughts, actions, and, reactions, HIS name, because, HE IS WORTHY, and, IN HIS LOVE, has SHOWN me, how I OUGHT to exist, to which, I eagerly, adapt, and, comply!!!

MATTHEW 5:48...
So be perfect, just as your heavenly Father is perfect

1 PETER 1:14-16...
14/ Like obedient children, do not act in compliance with the desires of your former ignorance
15/ but, as he who called you is holy, be holy yourselves in every aspect of your conduct,
16/ for it is written, "Be holy because I (am) holy."

ROMANS 12:2...
Do not conform yourselves to this age but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and pleasing and perfect.

Conduct, in conformity to *GOD'S* WILL, marks the righteous; it is NOT because of guilt, or, ancient Laws, but, because of LOVE; LOVE for *GOD*, self, then, others! CHRIST JESUS gave us Commandments to live by, of which, the first is to LOVE *GOD*, with all of your mind, heart, and, soul; the second is, to LOVE one another!

LOVE COMPELS us to LIVE IN HIM, through conduct which conforms to *GOD*; in other words, morality, ethics, doing good, and, being good, and, ever striving to improve the spirit! It is about REFLECTING THE TRUTH, for ALL to bear witness to, FOR, and, TO HIS GLORY, RADIANTLY SHINING OF HIS POWER, GRACE, and, MERCIES!!!

It IS ALL ABOUT LOVE, baby, all about LOVE!!!

MATTHEW 4: 17...From that time on, Jesus began to preach and say, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand."

JOHN 14:15..."If you love me, you will keep my commandments.

NOTE: I do not intend to preach, rather to reach; to stir up, awaken, to inspire, and, bring forth, in discussion, that which is, perhaps, dormantly existing in the heart of hearts, thus, little, or, no, sugar coatings, just THE WORD of *GOD*, the TRUTH, along with some of my thoughts. And truth is, I am reminding myself always, as I practice these reminders, in the best of my abilities, and capacities, while RELYING on THE LORD to lead me on that narrow PATH---> MATTHEW 7: 14: "For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it... TO *GOD* BE ALL GLORY...

SUNDAY: CALL UPON THE LORD!!!

Sorrow, worry, fear, and so much more turned UPWARD TO THE LORD *GOD*, for many reasons, the first being ONLY HE CAN SET US FREE, and make everything right---

We might be intelligent, but our powers are only as proficient as is our focus! IF we focus on *GOD* then HIS POWERS aid us, protect us, and care for us; if our focus is on the self, or following others, power is worldly, hence, fallible...

We are battling the unseen, and the unknown, in which case, reactions, and actions towards what we face is unique for most, and so, people are on varying levels of emotions, and bewilderment, which can take one, or many to different depths, or ceilings in their reactions, and actions, and as we see, not all of them will be wise, or profitable in the long run, thus, we OUGHT to STAY focused on THE LORD *GOD*, POSITIVITY, and that which will grant us self-control, resolve, and courage enough to face the battle before us as long as it takes...

PRAYER IS MIGHTY, as IS READING HIS WORD! Just know that in PRAYER, we begin in HONOURING HIM, then repenting for our sins, then petitioning according to HIS WILL, and for others, as well as our own state. We THANK HIM FOR HIS hearing us, and HIS WILL to be done, and then, we wait, even though we might be anxiously doing so, AS we TRUST HIM, and RELY ON HIM, instead of getting caught up in the whirlwinds of calamity around us. We DON'T relent in PRAYING, it IS an ongoing effort, though not without consideration of HIS WILL, WAYS, and timing...

FOR EVERYTHING THERE IS A REASON, and A SEASON, and HIS OWN should endure all the while, despite it being quite difficult, or draining. We must NOT lose heart, nor allow our spirit to be brought low, for WE KNOW, THE LORD IS FIGHTING FOR US, and IS OUR DELIVERER, even when it seems HE is far from us, HE IS NOT, HE IS near, and HE IS EVER caring FOR us! Yah, we all know, at times, it feels as if we have been waiting a long time, but HIS time is NOT as ours, and HE KNOWS better than we do WHAT is going on, as well as the purpose, and outcome, SO, we hang on, and KEEP THE FAITH, while BEING FAITHFUL...

Many have perished, but if we are yet here, we have HOPE, and something to be grateful for each day, and night! This means we FIND, or MAKE good out of little, and carry the flame of HIS SPIRIT throughout; this benefits others, and ourselves, plus, it drowns out the whispering enemy who is ever trying to trap us in despair, THAT we shift our attention FROM THE LORD, thereby further endangering ourselves...

I have highs, and I have lows concerning all of this; NOTHING like this has ever happened since maybe way back in the ancient times, that something affect EVERY single aspect of our existence, and has the power to alter every single thing therein! BUT, I PRAY, and talk with my LOVED ones, keep busy, and MAKE FAITH a standard, as well as a SHIELD, so that my strength does not wane to the point of being vulnerable to this nightmare which came to life...

Fear, and the rest of the negatives we experience ARE enmity against *GOD*, FAITH, LOVE, and all which is right, just, and good, albeit we might have to spar, and war with such, we KEEP ON IN HIM! It ISN'T easy, yet, it IS necessary TO RECEIVING OF HIM!!!

Steadfast we cling TO HIM, HOPE, and we REMAIN SURE OF HIS SOVEREIGN POWERS, and LOVE for us! We might cower, we might stumble, still we forge on, WITH THE PEACE THAT HE GIVES us!!!

PSALM 50: 15...
Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I shall rescue you, and you will honor Me."

In the day of distress we must apply to the Lord by fervent prayer. Our troubles, though we see them coming from God's hand, must drive us to him, not drive us from him. We must acknowledge him in all our ways, depend upon his wisdom, power, and goodness, and refer ourselves wholly to him, and so give him glory. Thus must we keep up communion with God; meeting him with prayers under trials, and with praises in deliverances. A believing supplicant shall not only be graciously answered as to his petition, and so have cause for praising God, but shall also have grace to praise him...

If ever you believe in anything, believe in THE LORD *GOD* with ALL your heart, and all your being, for HE ALONE, IS ABLE to protect us, guide us, heal us, lead us, and restore us! Fall NOT into the currents of devastation, instead RAISE TO HIM your HOPE, and your TRUST, and WAIT ON HIM! Through EVERYTHING, PRAISE, WORSHIP, and HONOUR THE LORD *GOD* ALMIGHTY, for HE IS THE ONE to SAVE us!!!
