HEAVENLY INCLINED...: TOUGH LOVE OF *GOD*...

Thanksgiving for the LORD's Favor

Psalms 138 (A Psalm of David)
1/ I will praise thee with my whole heart: before the gods will I sing praise unto thee.
2/ I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy loving-kindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.
3/ In the day when I cried thou answeredst me, and strengthenedst me with strength in my soul.
4/ All the kings of the earth shall praise thee, O LORD, when they hear the words of thy mouth.
5/ Yea, they shall sing in the ways of the LORD: for great is the glory of the LORD.
6/ Though the LORD be high, yet hath he respect unto the lowly: but the proud he knoweth afar off.
7/ Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me: thou shalt stretch forth thine hand against the wrath of mine enemies, and thy right hand shall save me.
8/ The LORD will perfect that which concerneth me:
thy mercy, O LORD, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands... AMEN!!!

One CANNOT earn GRACE, it is HIS own ESSENCE; a gift, still, IF one claims to be IN HIS GRACE, we ARE to, or, OUGHT to, be reflections of that GRACE! 2 CORINTHIANS 6:1, tells us not to take HIS GRACE in vain! This means, living in LOVE, morality, ethics, virtue, righteousness, and, spiritual improvement, TOWARDS, spiritual maturity, WHILE, visibly BEING as LIGHTS, beaming OF *GOD*, beckoning the world, TO THE LIGHT! Righteousness MEANS, conduct in conformity with *GOD'S* WILL, and, "Be HOLY because I AM HOLY!", therefore, indicating that knowledge, wisdom, and, effort, DO, apply TO the righteous!!! NEVER forget, we were grafted in, and, if we do not bear fruit, as a dead branch, we will be pruned out, just as were, the natural branches!!!

We are not saved by works, instead, works PROVE HIM in us: they identify HIS own...

IF I claim ONENESS with *GOD*, through CHRIST JESUS, I am DEAD TO THE WORLD, THUS, LIVING as HIM, which is, hopefully, witnessed IN, and, THROUGH, my every thought, action, and, reaction; MEANING, I am, THROUGH CONSCIOUS application OF THE WORD, HIS COMMANDS, HIS WILL, REFLECTING righteousness, not, merely, FAITH! I become, the TRULY FRUITFUL branch, of THE VINE, the TRUE member of THE BODY/THE CHURCH, CHRIST JESUS, and, TESTIFY, then, GLORIFY, BOLDLY, BY my thoughts, actions, and, reactions, HIS name, because, HE IS WORTHY, and, IN HIS LOVE, has SHOWN me, how I OUGHT to exist, to which, I eagerly, adapt, and, comply!!!

MATTHEW 5:48...
So be perfect, just as your heavenly Father is perfect

1 PETER 1:14-16...
14/ Like obedient children, do not act in compliance with the desires of your former ignorance
15/ but, as he who called you is holy, be holy yourselves in every aspect of your conduct,
16/ for it is written, "Be holy because I (am) holy."

ROMANS 12:2...
Do not conform yourselves to this age but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and pleasing and perfect.

Conduct, in conformity to *GOD'S* WILL, marks the righteous; it is NOT because of guilt, or, ancient Laws, but, because of LOVE; LOVE for *GOD*, self, then, others! CHRIST JESUS gave us Commandments to live by, of which, the first is to LOVE *GOD*, with all of your mind, heart, and, soul; the second is, to LOVE one another!

LOVE COMPELS us to LIVE IN HIM, through conduct which conforms to *GOD*; in other words, morality, ethics, doing good, and, being good, and, ever striving to improve the spirit! It is about REFLECTING THE TRUTH, for ALL to bear witness to, FOR, and, TO HIS GLORY, RADIANTLY SHINING OF HIS POWER, GRACE, and, MERCIES!!!

It IS ALL ABOUT LOVE, baby, all about LOVE!!!

MATTHEW 4: 17...From that time on, Jesus began to preach and say, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand."

JOHN 14:15..."If you love me, you will keep my commandments.

NOTE: I do not intend to preach, rather to reach; to stir up, awaken, to inspire, and, bring forth, in discussion, that which is, perhaps, dormantly existing in the heart of hearts, thus, little, or, no, sugar coatings, just THE WORD of *GOD*, the TRUTH, along with some of my thoughts. And truth is, I am reminding myself always, as I practice these reminders, in the best of my abilities, and capacities, while RELYING on THE LORD to lead me on that narrow PATH---> MATTHEW 7: 14: "For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it... TO *GOD* BE ALL GLORY...

TOUGH LOVE OF GOD...

Since we are beginning Lent amid the coronavirus, and the locust invasion, both of which are spreading, and growing in strength, along with other matters such as famine, extreme weather which has wiped out livestock, and crops, earthquakes, and more, WHAT IF this IS the wrath of *GOD*?---

There is speculation that the coronavirus is bio-chemical warfare, and that is feasible, but WHAT IF it IS *GOD'S* anger? We HAVE been observing a BIG uptick in errs which DO invoke HIS anger, such as perversion galore, lewdness, throw it to the wind debauchery, lust unlimited, greed unsatiated, and on it goes! All over the board, people are DOING that which indicates we are far removed from HIM, and HIS WILL! Yes, even Christians...

WHAT IF? Shouldn't we at least consider the possibility? We HAVE the ability to stay HIS anger, if so, BY repenting, FOR REAL, and existing according TO HIS WILL, and WAYS, NOT those of the world! The ways of the world INTEND to lead us all to a fiery furnace, believe it! And now that there is SO much freedom, complacency, and absolute tolerance of even the vilest of behaviours, we are proving just how much we revere the world OVER HIM! THINK about this, real hard, because it IS possible that HE HAS HAD ENOUGH, after all, much of what is going on IS far worse than what was going on when HE destroyed Sodom, and Gomorrah, not to mention the many times HIS wrath destroyed cities, people, and other...

Lent inspires repentance, and NOT the lip service kind! We are to repent, as we cease, and resist every kind of wrong, and temptation, now, and forever, ESPECIALLY, if we are Christian! One's PRAYERS cannot be effective without repenting, if you aren't aware of this fact! The world IS on the verge of being out of control as more, more, and more grip onto the belief that anything goes, and that this time is for the self! Pride, envy, gluttony, greed, sloth, wrath, and lust ARE rampant throughout societies everywhere in this day! It is as if all principle has been abandoned, and standards have been cast aside! People from every walk of life ARE doing things they wouldn't have done before, and mainly, this is happening because we ARE far removed from THE LORD *GOD*, and ARE too self-involved...

Again, there IS consequence for EVERYTHING we do on this planet, now, and later! You can deny it, defy it, or absolutely diss it, but one day, it WILL be addressed, and dealt with, and not only then, it affects our existence in the present, and future! This applies to the good we think, say, or do, as well as the opposite! I am not without plenty of err myself, but about 10 or so years ago, I VOWED to do better, and to FOLLOW CHRIST JESUS, not that I don't err, or make mistakes, or trip, but I KNOW when I have done so, or been drawn into, so, I repent, and head on, ever working to improve, body, mind, and spirit! It MATTERS, it TRULY does...

BELIEVE me, fantasies, and other such, no matter how many fulfilled, leave you empty in the long run, and fail to satiate you fully, and in fact, can lead to even more of them, which means ever chasing what is surreal, and ignoring reality. Of course, one can begin to imagine their pursuits as reality, but that is false, just like the deception inspiring such....

There is LOTS of ADVANTAGE to existing wholesomely, and virtuously! I KNOW the difference WELL, and I CAN attest to the beauty of living in fortitude! It ISN'T easy, especially for a great many of us whom were born into a hard, different kind of world, YET, it IS satisfying, AND without regret, remorse, or waking up in fear, confusion, or worse! My being cool, or hep, or what have you did NOT disappear, it just sort of changed gears, and led me to a simpler, more stable, and gratifying place, in which there is comfort, soundness, and strength, which is ever abounding...

*GOD* is NOT to be laughed at, mocked, or ignored; despite HIM seeming untouchable, HE IS here, near, and TO BE RECKONED with, and when people go beyond the pale, HE HAS, DOES, and WILL let HIMSELF be known, in various ways, such as plagues, pestilence, disasters, and worse, SO, I ask again, WHAT IF IT IS HIS anger which is now actively warning us to change our ways???

Clearly, we are like lost Children, and THE LORD *GOD* LOVES us, HENCE, HE WILL discipline, punish, and sound the alarms of fear, THAT those whom will, TURN TO HIM, and away from that which is leading them to destruction! It is NOT because HE is wrong, or mean, or has evil, it IS because HE WANTS us WITH HIM FOREVER, and the wicked rulers of this world ARE stealing as many as is feasible, in any way, with any ploy possible!!!

For those whom think it is possible that HE HAS HAD ENOUGH, let us PRAY, PRAY, and PRAY, and encourage others to consider HIS MIGHT, in which case, HE HAS TOLD us of promises, and curses, DEPENDING upon OUR choices, AND, HE DOES USE certain acts TO REACH those whom HE might! Just something to think about, and I PRAY more DO THINK because we ARE reaching new lows because of our vices, and our affection for freedom to indulge, even though freedom REALLY lies in doing what is right, just, and good, now, and eternally...
