Thanksgiving for the LORD's Favor

Psalms 138 (A Psalm of David)
1/ I will praise thee with my whole heart: before the gods will I sing praise unto thee.
2/ I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy loving-kindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.
3/ In the day when I cried thou answeredst me, and strengthenedst me with strength in my soul.
4/ All the kings of the earth shall praise thee, O LORD, when they hear the words of thy mouth.
5/ Yea, they shall sing in the ways of the LORD: for great is the glory of the LORD.
6/ Though the LORD be high, yet hath he respect unto the lowly: but the proud he knoweth afar off.
7/ Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me: thou shalt stretch forth thine hand against the wrath of mine enemies, and thy right hand shall save me.
8/ The LORD will perfect that which concerneth me:
thy mercy, O LORD, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands... AMEN!!!

One CANNOT earn GRACE, it is HIS own ESSENCE; a gift, still, IF one claims to be IN HIS GRACE, we ARE to, or, OUGHT to, be reflections of that GRACE! 2 CORINTHIANS 6:1, tells us not to take HIS GRACE in vain! This means, living in LOVE, morality, ethics, virtue, righteousness, and, spiritual improvement, TOWARDS, spiritual maturity, WHILE, visibly BEING as LIGHTS, beaming OF *GOD*, beckoning the world, TO THE LIGHT! Righteousness MEANS, conduct in conformity with *GOD'S* WILL, and, "Be HOLY because I AM HOLY!", therefore, indicating that knowledge, wisdom, and, effort, DO, apply TO the righteous!!! NEVER forget, we were grafted in, and, if we do not bear fruit, as a dead branch, we will be pruned out, just as were, the natural branches!!!

We are not saved by works, instead, works PROVE HIM in us: they identify HIS own...

IF I claim ONENESS with *GOD*, through CHRIST JESUS, I am DEAD TO THE WORLD, THUS, LIVING as HIM, which is, hopefully, witnessed IN, and, THROUGH, my every thought, action, and, reaction; MEANING, I am, THROUGH CONSCIOUS application OF THE WORD, HIS COMMANDS, HIS WILL, REFLECTING righteousness, not, merely, FAITH! I become, the TRULY FRUITFUL branch, of THE VINE, the TRUE member of THE BODY/THE CHURCH, CHRIST JESUS, and, TESTIFY, then, GLORIFY, BOLDLY, BY my thoughts, actions, and, reactions, HIS name, because, HE IS WORTHY, and, IN HIS LOVE, has SHOWN me, how I OUGHT to exist, to which, I eagerly, adapt, and, comply!!!

MATTHEW 5:48...
So be perfect, just as your heavenly Father is perfect

1 PETER 1:14-16...
14/ Like obedient children, do not act in compliance with the desires of your former ignorance
15/ but, as he who called you is holy, be holy yourselves in every aspect of your conduct,
16/ for it is written, "Be holy because I (am) holy."

ROMANS 12:2...
Do not conform yourselves to this age but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and pleasing and perfect.

Conduct, in conformity to *GOD'S* WILL, marks the righteous; it is NOT because of guilt, or, ancient Laws, but, because of LOVE; LOVE for *GOD*, self, then, others! CHRIST JESUS gave us Commandments to live by, of which, the first is to LOVE *GOD*, with all of your mind, heart, and, soul; the second is, to LOVE one another!

LOVE COMPELS us to LIVE IN HIM, through conduct which conforms to *GOD*; in other words, morality, ethics, doing good, and, being good, and, ever striving to improve the spirit! It is about REFLECTING THE TRUTH, for ALL to bear witness to, FOR, and, TO HIS GLORY, RADIANTLY SHINING OF HIS POWER, GRACE, and, MERCIES!!!

It IS ALL ABOUT LOVE, baby, all about LOVE!!!

MATTHEW 4: 17...From that time on, Jesus began to preach and say, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand."

JOHN 14:15..."If you love me, you will keep my commandments.

NOTE: I do not intend to preach, rather to reach; to stir up, awaken, to inspire, and, bring forth, in discussion, that which is, perhaps, dormantly existing in the heart of hearts, thus, little, or, no, sugar coatings, just THE WORD of *GOD*, the TRUTH, along with some of my thoughts. And truth is, I am reminding myself always, as I practice these reminders, in the best of my abilities, and capacities, while RELYING on THE LORD to lead me on that narrow PATH---> MATTHEW 7: 14: "For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it... TO *GOD* BE ALL GLORY...

SUNDAY: TRUE WORSHIP IS JOY, FOR YOU BEGIN TO KNOW YOURSELF ACCORDING TO GOD, NOT TO THE WORLD...

Oh yah, this is TRUTH! NOT the kind of TRUTH anyone wants to hear, especially in this current environment of doubt, and disbelief, but TRUTH nonetheless!!!

We EXIST in this realm, and thereafter to WORSHIP, and for the PRAISE OF THE LORD *GOD* ALMIGHTY! NOTHING is about us, which IS what upsets people the most, but really, that isn't a negative thing, unless we are rebelling against HIM! WHEN we acknowledge HIS SOVEREIGNTY, and our place in HIS CREATION; AS we awaken to allegiance TO HIM, benevolence is endless, and forever, SO, NO, it is NOT a negative ideal that HE IS OVER us! ALL of the arguments against it exist BECAUSE of the carnal, fleshy, egocentric being; NOT true for those whom STEP INTO TRUTH, for these KNOW that after this temporal period of time on Earth, it will be well with their REALITY, their souls, and they will experience LIFE ETERNAL, and that, ABUNDANTLY!!!

We are lost in the ME times; times in which self-inclination reigns supreme, and selfishness is rampant, in which case, IS THE PRIDE which SEPARATES us from THE LORD *GOD*! FEW are being taught properly OF HIM, HIS WILL, or HIS WAYS, but then, a great many have decided AGAINST TRUTH, and won't consider past what they see, or hear, or CHOOSE to experience in this realm, SO there IS a resistance towards HUMBLING, and HUMILITY, thus, no inclination TO meld with TRUTH, LOVE, or THE LORD...

THAT we are NOTHING without THE LORD means squat to those SO self-assured! THAT ALL, and EVERYTHING comes FROM HIM, IS insignificant to those whom attach themselves to the tangible world! HOW difficult it is, INDEED, to penetrate the senses of those whom REFUSE to hear, or see, BUT, one day they WILL, and there WON'T be pardon for their stubbornness!!!

FOOLISH FOLLY rules the world, and those bent on gaining all they can in their short times of it! The enemy of *GOD* HAS been effective IN his ability to entice, delude, confuse, and false offerings, as far too many ARE lost in the shrouded arena without a clue, or an impulse to find, or know THE TRUTH!!!

HEAVEN and hell ARE FACTS of CREATION! There is NO ignoring what WILL happen WHEN THE LORD ARRIVES TO CLAIM HIS WORLD, and HIS people! Also, there is NO denying that we are both body and soul, and that the body IS perishable, and shall die, BUT the soul exists FOREVER, and IS that image of *GOD* into which we were made, AND which WILL continue on, be that IN THE KINGDOM, or in the fires of wrath; only to the peril of the soul can this TRUTH be denied, or defied...

Listen, I came from a tough background, one which I wouldn't have chosen for myself, but one which I would not change too much either, EXCEPT for the senseless, and even stupid decisions of err/sin which I fell into, or committed in my IGNORANCE, and IMAGINED belief that we can do as we will and be safe, now, and forever! CHRIST JESUS I LOVED, YET, I was NOT humbled before HIM, nor concerned with a RELATIONSHIP with HIM, because as MANY, I just thought it was a done deal, and that I had no part in it! PRAISE *GOD* for throwing me to my knees, and SHOWING ME THE WAY, as I WAS on the gates of no return, VOID of TRUE knowledge, or understanding! Since that night that HE HUMBLED me, I have NOT looked back, only in regret for my stupidity, and HAVE taken on as much of HIS EXAMPLE as is feasible! I LOVE HIM, and I AIM to spend ETERNITY WITH HIM, and so, I work THROUGH the GIFT of Salvation BY aligning TO HIS WILL, and WAYS, which ARE presented to me IN THE WORD, and in various other ways! And since then, I KNOW THE HOLY SPIRIT IS FREE TO WORK IN ME, THROUGH ME, and ALL AROUND ME! I AM OPEN TO HIS WILL, having surrendered my own will, though not perfectly, it is an ongoing PARTNERSHIP, FOR HIS GLORY, and the sake of my soul, which BELONGS TO HIM, and finds LIFE IN HIM, ALONE!!!

WORSHIP IS FIDELITY TO *GOD* FOREMOST, then IN LOVE, all else ensues which TRULY articulates our SINCERITY, and truthfulness! IN this WORSHIP we ARE FOCUSED on THAT ABOVE, NOT on the world (COLOSSIANS 3), THEREFORE, we exist AS citizens of HEAVEN! Citizenship IN HEAVEN IS expressed THROUGH HOLINESS, and what pleases THE LORD *GOD*! There is NO concern for what is carnal, and NO MORE of the carnal instincts; NO MORE OF THE opposition TO HIM, HIS WILL, and HIS WAYS! WHEN we GAVE ourselves TO CHRIST JESUS, we were to have DIED to the world, just as HE DID! The problem here IS that many are baptized into HIM at birth, but then, are either NOT taught, or REJECT TRUTH: and there are other factors which play into the fallacy of being free to exist against HIM, while EXPECTING full compensation FROM HIM! YOU SEE the problem here???

We exist TO GLORIFY THE LORD *GOD*, TO HONOUR HIM, TO PRAISE HIM, and TO REFLECT HIM IN our ways, THAT those lost in the darkness, and deception, MIGHT notice HIM, TURN TO HIM, and FOLLOW HIM, and BE SAVED! In order TO DO ANY of this, we HAVE to be NEW CREATIONS, having taken off the old, and deadly ways of the world! IT IS CRUCIAL that we UNDERSTAND, and COMPLY, FOR ONLY those whom REMAIN IN HIM until the end, shall be counted in THE KINGDOM! There ARE GREAT dangers as we navigate this realm, and IF we are not aware, awake, or in allegiance, we CAN be shaken, and taken, THOUGH HE WILL protect those whom LOVE HIM, and adhere TO HIM, or those whose conscious HAS been roused TO the point of CONSIDERING HIM, and TRUTH!!!

Believe me, there IS more than enough to KEEP us busy, and from being bored BY our cooperation in being made WHOLE BY HIM, and HIS GENIUS IS FASCINATING enough to keep us wanting for more! SURE, it WILL be a different ball game, and some of the players we most admired will be left wayside because they are not OF HIM, but ALL of the changes, losses, or ceding TO HIS WILL, IS temporary and IS replaced with BOUNTIFUL BLESSINGS, INDEED, now, later, and evermore!!!

Christians HAVE AMPLE WORK TO DO IN HIS NAME, FOR HIS GLORY, and THE GOOD OF SOULS, SOOOOO, there is NO reason to doubt the worth of our CO-ACTION WITH HIM! IF we understood just HOW much work there IS to be done, there would be NO backsliding, no falling away, or worse, BECAUSE we would NEVER be idle, and endangered by the evil powers of this world!!!

CHRIST JESUS WAS A SERVANT, and we ARE to BECOME LIKE HIM, SO SERVITUDE IS PARAMOUNT TO our BLESSED state, and DOES engage us enough to shelter us from thinking, acting, and reacting against HIM, and our TRUTH!!!

FREE WILL IS A MEASURE TO SEE just how far one might go astray, OR further their FAITHFULNESS TO THE LORD *GOD* ALMIGHTY! You see, HE GIVES us the opportunity TO REALIZE just how far wrong we might go, OR to LEARN HOW to STEP INTO RIGHTEOUSNESS, LOVE, and TRUE WORSHIP! MANY WILL argue to their death that free will ALLOWS them to be whom, and whatever they want to be, and yah, there IS TRUTH in that, but a TWISTING OF SAID TRUTH, AS we are NOT CREATED to be one with the world, it's powers, or it's wickedness, INSTEAD to be ONE WITH THE LORD *GOD*!!!

Ah, constant reminders, and constant attention IS necessary, for we DO forget, or avoid MUCH as we traverse this valley of deception, and death! PRAISE *GOD* FOR HIS FIDELITY TO us, and TO HIS PLAN to SAVE those whom WILL be saved!!!
