SO much value is placed on worldly goods, and all that provides pleasure for the carnal being, but the ONE TRULY WORTHY GIFT of THE WORD is ignored, defied, denied, or excused as having no real prestige, in comparison with all the enticing materialistic acquisition's of our time...
Time on Earth is for being TRAINED UP IN RIGHTEOUSNESS! There are at least 100 BIBLICAL references concerning this training, the purposes therein, and the benefits of absorbing this necessary, and essential knowledge! ONLY the informed shall withstand the final tests, and trials yet to come! Humans are EASILY shaken out of their convictions when knowledge, and understanding are not rooted within!!!
2 TIMOTHY 3: 16-17...
All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work.
Those who would learn the things of God, and be assured of them, must know the Holy Scriptures, for they are the Divine revelation. The age of children is the age to learn; and those who would get true learning, must get it out of the Scriptures. They must not lie by us neglected, seldom or never looked into. The Bible is a sure guide to eternal life. The prophets and apostles did not speak from themselves, but delivered what they received of God, 2Pe 1:21. It is profitable for all purposes of the Christian life. It is of use to all, for all need to be taught, corrected, and reproved. There is something in the Scriptures suitable for every case. Oh that we may love our Bibles more, and keep closer to them! then shall we find benefit, and at last gain the happiness therein promised by faith in our Lord Jesus Christ, who is the main subject of both Testaments. We best oppose error by promoting a solid knowledge of the word of truth; and the greatest kindness we can do to children, is to make them early to know the Bible.
TITUS 2: 11-12...
For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all men; training us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in the present age,
The doctrine of grace and salvation by the gospel, is for all ranks and conditions of men. It teaches to forsake sin; to have no more to do with it. An earthly, sensual conversation suits not a heavenly calling. It teaches to make conscience of that which is good. We must look to God in Christ, as the object of our hope and worship. A gospel conversation must be a godly conversation. See our duty in a very few words; denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, living soberly, righteously, and godly, notwithstanding all snares, temptations, corrupt examples, ill usage, and what remains of sin in the believer's heart, with all their hinderances. It teaches to look for the glories of another world. At, and in, the glorious appearing of Christ, the blessed hope of Christians will be complete: To bring us to holiness and happiness was the end of Christ's death.
Listen, reading, and devouring THE BIBLE DAILY, activates RIGHTEOUSNESS, and MOTIVATES the spirit TO TURNING TO HIM, and what is right, just, and good, AS it MAKES us aware, alert, and awakens us TO TRUTH, and what IS to come! Humans NEED *GOD*, and RIGHTEOUSNESS in this lawless, crazy, violent, and uptight world, BECAUSE SUCH IS THE ANTIDOTE to ALL which plagues us...
We ARE BEING TRAINED IN RIGHTEOUSNESS FOR THE GLORY OF *GOD*, and for our ETERNAL well-being, in which will NEVER again exist ANYONE, or ANYTHING which opposes THE LORD *GOD*, and HIS WILL! There will NOT be more of the same in the NEW WORLD, ONLY those whom ARE OF HIM, OF LOVE, and OF WHAT IS HOLY!!!
More, and more the evil of this world is infiltrating the masses, in which case FAR TOO MANY are biting into the falsehoods, lies, and delusions! WITHOUT PROPER instruction, and knowledge, even those whom claim CHRIST JESUS as their LORD, and SAVIOUR ARE vulnerable, thus, endangered, BECAUSE we SHARE IN HIS WILL, and WORKS to TRANSFORM us! It is NOT ALL ON HIM, we ARE CO-PARTNERS TO THE COVENANT, and therefore, SHOULD exist as CITIZENS of HEAVEN, for the world is NOT our home, and IF we RECEIVE HIM, we die, bit by bit TO the world, and it's ways! There is NO way to know this, or understand this without knowledge of HIS WORD, and WILL...
There are at least 100 BIBLE verses POINTING TO the importance of STUDYING THE BIBLE, and letting it root, and anchor within! It IS IMPERATIVE, not only to these volatile, uncertain times, but to what is YET to come...
MARK 12: 24...
Jesus said to them, “Is this not the reason you are mistaken, that you do not understand the Scriptures or the power of God?
A right knowledge of the Scripture, as the fountain whence all revealed religion now flows, and the foundation on which it is built, is the best preservative against error. Christ put aside the objection of the Sadducees, who were the scoffing infidels of that day, by setting the doctrine of the future state in a true light.
7+++The law of the LORD is perfect,
reviving the soul;
the testimony of the LORD is trustworthy,
making wise the simple.
8+++The precepts of the LORD are right,
bringing joy to the heart;
the commandments of the LORD are radiant,
giving light to the eyes.
9+++The fear of the LORD is pure,
enduring forever;
the judgments of the LORD are true,
being altogether righteous.
10+++They are more precious than gold,
than much pure gold;
they are sweeter than honey,
than honey from the comb.
11+++By them indeed Your servant is warned;

The Holy Scripture is of much greater benefit to us than day or night, than the air we breathe, or the light of the sun. To recover man out of his fallen state, there is need of the word of God. The word translated law, may be rendered doctrine, and be understood as meaning all that teaches us true religion. The whole is perfect; its tendency is to convert or turn the soul from sin and the world, to God and holiness. It shows our sinfulness and misery in departing from God, and the necessity of our return to him.
This testimony is sure, to be fully depended on: the ignorant and unlearned believing what God saith, become wise unto salvation. It is a sure direction in the way of duty. It is a sure fountain of living comforts, and a sure foundation of lasting hopes. The statues of the Lord are right, just as they should be; and, because they are right, they rejoice the heart. The commandments of the Lord are pure, holy, just, and good. By them we discover our need of a Saviour; and then learn how to adorn his gospel. They are the means which the Holy Spirit uses in enlightening the eyes; they bring us to a sight and sense of our sin and misery, and direct us in the way of duty. The fear of the Lord, that is, true religion and godliness, is clean, it will cleanse our way; and it endureth for ever. The ceremonial law is long since done away, but the law concerning the fear of God is ever the same. The judgments of the Lord, his precepts, are true; they are righteous, and they are so altogether; there is no unrighteousness in any of them. Gold is only for the body, and the concerns of time; but grace is for the soul, and the concerns of eternity. The word of God, received by faith, is more precious than gold; it is sweet to the soul, sweeter than honey. The pleasure of sense soon surfeit, yet never satisfy; but those of religion are substantial and satisfying; there is no danger of excess.
2 PETER 1: 5-9...
5+++For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith virtue; and to virtue, knowledge;
6+++and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness;
7+++and to godliness, brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness, love.
8+++For if you possess these qualities and continue to grow in them, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
9+++But whoever lacks these traits is nearsighted to the point of blindness, having forgotten that he has been cleansed from his past sins.
In Christ all fullness dwells, and pardon, peace, grace, and knowledge, and new principles, are thus given through the Holy Spirit. The promises to those who are partakers of a Divine nature, will cause us to inquire whether we are really renewed in the spirit of our minds; let us turn all these promises into prayers for the transforming and purifying grace of the Holy Spirit.
The believer must add knowledge to his virtue, increasing acquaintance with the whole truth and will of God. We must add temperance to knowledge; moderation about worldly things; and add to temperance, patience, or cheerful submission to the will of God. Tribulation worketh patience, whereby we bear all calamities and crosses with silence and submission. To patience we must add godliness: this includes the holy affections and dispositions found in the true worshiper of God; with tender affection to all fellow Christians, who are children of the same Father, servants of the same Master, members of the same family, travelers to the same country, heirs of the same inheritance. Wherefore let Christians labour to attain assurance of their calling, and of their election, by believing and well-doing; and thus carefully to endeavour, is a firm argument of the grace and mercy of God, upholding them so that they shall not utterly fall. Those who are diligent in the work of religion, shall have a triumphant entrance into that everlasting kingdom where Christ reigns, and they shall reign with him for ever and ever; and it is in the practice of every good work that we are to expect entrance to heaven.
OPEN your heart, open your mind, and ALLOW THE WORD to be as sustenance to your being, to your spirit, to your soul! VOID OF *GOD* there is NO HOPE, and there is NO LIFE! CONSIDER how beneficial it IS to KNOW HIS WORD, HIM, HIS WILL, and HIS WAYS, and take the time to SINCERELY TURN TO HIM for what is needed now, and forever! You have NOTHING to lose, and OH SO MUCH to gain!!!
