SUNDAY'S SACRED SCRIPTURES...

The time of sinner's trouble is at hand. Mockers, scoffers, deniers, and those who choose to engage in corruption, and to even revel in it, shall meet their CREATOR, their MAKER, and too late, SEE HIM, and their fate; they shall discover TRUTH, but since they defied it all the days of their existence, it will serve only to confirm their err(s)---

ONE chance TO turn to THE LORD *GOD* ALMIGHTY, in the days we have been allotted, yet, the enticements, lies, and self-inclination HAS convinced a great number that there is no reason to sweat it, as disbelief, and ego HAVE taken their sight, their hearing, their ability to reason rightly! Lost ARE these TO the world, absolutely assured that THEY are right, and what is TRUE is false, or wrong. It is REALLY sad, because they COULD be SAVED, but they have NO, or little standard, or trust, in what they cannot see, or hear, or touch, or taste, or smell...

Sin IS epidemic IN THIS time, as IS denial of THE LORD *GOD*, and whether anyone wants to consider HIS WRATH, it IS as PROMISED as are HIS BLESSINGS! HE GIVES EVERY SINGLE person a CHOICE, LIFE, or not! NO ONE LIKES to be reminded of what is abominable TO THE LORD, HOWEVER that does NOT change the FACT that HE HAS told us what is right, and what is wrong, and HOW we, THROUGH CHOICES, GENERATE either BLESSINGS, or curses...

LOVE IS a rarity; IF it were NOT, the excessive errs of the lands would NOT be! There would be NOTHING negative TO misguide, mislead, and to destroy the soul!!!

Right now, there is a near madness in this world; a frenzied attitude of self-inclination; a rashly bold desire to be whatever one wants to be; there is great oppression, as people are bought, and sold; there is disregard, and disrespect for human existence; there is lust, and greed galore; there is hostility, anger, murder, and vengeance everywhere; there is a cry against what IS sound, proven, and right; there is simply, TOO many errs increasing as the days shorten, and YET, THAT *GOD* WILL vent HIS WRATH, and fulfill HIS PROMISES, there are many who say HE is unjust, and unfair, JUST LIKE the ancients did...

NO MATTER WHAT humans do, they DON'T think there should be consequences! It is the epitome of selfishness, and the core of WHY there is SO much suffering in this world!!!

*GOD* HAS SPOKEN, and HIS WORD SHALL NOT RETURN EMPTY! HE HAS PUT IT ALL BEFORE US, and what HE SAYS, HE MEANS! HE IS UNCHANGEABLE, and while HIS LOVE IS ETERNAL, those who LOVE HIM NOT, and have no affection for anyone other than themselves, HAVE chosen TO defy HIM! HIS WILL IS NOT unfair, nor unjust, it works for the GOOD of ALL in CREATION, NOT for the wicked evil therein! THE PUNISHMENT FOR WICKEDNESS HAS BEEN FORETOLD!!!

EZEKIEL 7...
1+++Moreover, the word of the LORD came to me saying, 
2+++“And you, son of man, thus says the Lord GOD to the land of Israel, ‘An end! The end is coming on the four corners of the land. 
3+++‘Now the end is upon you, and I will send My anger against you; I will judge you according to your ways and bring all your abominations upon you. 
4+++‘For My eye will have no pity on you, nor will I spare you, but I will bring your ways upon you, and your abominations will be among you; then you will know that I am the LORD!’
5+++“Thus says the Lord GOD, ‘A disaster, unique disaster, behold it is coming! 
6+++‘An end is coming; the end has come! It has awakened against you; behold, it has come!
7+++‘Your doom has come to you, O inhabitant of the land. The time has come, the day is near—tumult rather than joyful shouting on the mountains. 
8+++‘Now I will shortly pour out My wrath on you and spend My anger against you; judge you according to your ways and bring on you all your abominations. 
9+++‘My eye will show no pity nor will I spare. I will repay you according to your ways, while your abominations are in your midst; then you will know that I, the LORD, do the smiting.
10+++‘Behold, the day! Behold, it is coming! Your doom has gone forth; the rod has budded, arrogance has blossomed. 
11+++‘Violence has grown into a rod of wickedness. None of them shall remain, none of their people, none of their wealth, nor anything eminent among them. 
12+++‘The time has come, the day has arrived. Let not the buyer rejoice nor the seller mourn; for wrath is against all their multitude. 
13+++‘Indeed, the seller will not regain what he sold as long as they both live; for the vision regarding all their multitude will not be averted, nor will any of them maintain his life by his iniquity.
14+++‘They have blown the trumpet and made everything ready, but no one is going to the battle, for My wrath is against all their multitude. 
15+++‘The sword is outside and the plague and the famine are within. He who is in the field will die by the sword; famine and the plague will also consume those in the city. 
16+++‘Even when their survivors escape, they will be on the mountains like doves of the valleys, all of them mourning, each over his own iniquity. 
17+++‘All hands will hang limp and all knees will become like water. 
18+++‘They will gird themselves with sackcloth and shuddering will overwhelm them; and shame will be on all faces and baldness on all their heads. 
19+++‘They will fling their silver into the streets and their gold will become an abhorrent thing; their silver and their gold will not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of the LORD. They cannot satisfy their appetite nor can they fill their stomachs, for their iniquity has become an occasion of stumbling.
20+++‘They transformed the beauty of His ornaments into pride, and they made the images of their abominations and their detestable things with it; therefore I will make it an abhorrent thing to them. 
21+++‘I will give it into the hands of the foreigners as plunder and to the wicked of the earth as spoil, and they will profane it. 
22+++‘I will also turn My face from them, and they will profane My secret place; then robbers will enter and profane it.
23+++‘Make the chain, for the land is full of bloody crimes and the city is full of violence. 
24+++‘Therefore, I will bring the worst of the nations, and they will possess their houses. I will also make the pride of the strong ones cease, and their holy places will be profaned.
25+++‘When anguish comes, they will seek peace, but there will be none. 
26+++‘Disaster will come upon disaster and rumor will be added to rumor; then they will seek a vision from a prophet, but the law will be lost from the priest and counsel from the elders.
27+++‘The king will mourn, the prince will be clothed with horror, and the hands of the people of the land will tremble. According to their conduct I will deal with them, and by their judgments I will judge them. And they will know that I am the LORD.’”

The abruptness of this prophecy, and the many repetitions, show that the prophet was deeply affected by the prospect of these calamities. Such will the destruction of sinners be; for none can avoid it. Oh that the wickedness of the wicked might end before it bring them to an end! Trouble is to the impenitent only an evil, it hardens their hearts, and stirs up their corruptions; but there are those to whom it is sanctified by the grace of God, and made a means of much good. 

The day of real trouble is near, not a mere echo or rumour of troubles. Whatever are the fruits of God's judgments, our sin is the root of them. These judgments shall be universal. And God will be glorified in all. Now is the day of the Lord's patience and mercy, but the time of the sinner's trouble is at hand.

Sooner or later, sin will cause sorrow; and those who will not repent of their sin, may justly be left to pine away in it. There are many whose wealth is their snare and ruin; and the gaining the world is the losing of their souls. Riches profit not in the day of wrath. The wealth of this world has not that in it which will answer the desires of the soul, or be any satisfaction to it in a day of distress. God's temple shall stand them in no stead. Those are unworthy to be honoured with the form of godliness, who will not be governed by its power.

Whoever break the bands of God's law, will find themselves bound and held by the chains of his judgments. Since they encouraged one another to sin, God would dishearten them. All must needs be in trouble, when God comes to judge them according to their deserts. May the Lord enable us to seek that good part which shall not be taken away.

Even those who HAVE TURNED TO *GOD* NEED to ever improve upon themselves, and recall their errs, as they adapt TO HIS WILL! There is NO room for arrogance in devotion, nor presumption, instead we are to SERVE HIM, and others, WHILE gaining more, and more knowledge, as well as existing IN HIS WILL! AS HIS own, we ARE to aid IN bringing lost souls from destruction, and to REFLECT HIM ALWAYS, in all ways!!! 

JAMES 4: 8-10... 
7+++Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.
8+++Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. 
9+++Be miserable and mourn and weep; let your laughter be turned into mourning and your joy to gloom. 
10+++Humble yourselves in the presence of the Lord, and He will exalt you.

Worldly-mindedness is enmity to God. An enemy may be reconciled, but enmity never can be reconciled. 

A man may have a large portion in things of this life, and yet be kept in the love of God; but he who sets his heart upon the world, who will conform to it rather than lose its friendship, is an enemy to God. So that any one who resolves at all events to be upon friendly terms with the world, must be the enemy of God. Did then the Jews, or the loose professors of Christianity, think the Scripture spake in vain against this worldly-mindedness? or does the Holy Spirit who dwells in all Christians, or the new nature which he creates, produce such fruit? Natural corruption shows itself by envying. The spirit of the world teaches us to lay up, or lay out for ourselves, according to our own fancies; God the Holy Spirit teaches us to be willing to do good to all about us, as we are able. 

The grace of God will correct and cure the spirit by nature in us; and where he gives grace, he gives another spirit than that of the world. The proud resist God: in their understanding they resist the truths of God; in their will they resist the laws of God; in their passions they resist the providence of God; therefore, no wonder that God resists the proud. How wretched the state of those who make God their enemy! 

God will give more grace to the humble, because they see their need of it, pray for it are thankful for it, and such shall have it. Submit to God, ver. 7. Submit your understanding to the truth of God; submit your wills to the will of his precept, the will of his providence. Submit yourselves to God, for he is ready to do you good. If we yield to temptations, the devil will continually follow us; but if we put on the whole armour of God, and stand out against him, he will leave us. Let sinners then submit to God, and seek his grace and favour; resisting the devil. All sin must be wept over; here, in godly sorrow, or, hereafter, in eternal misery. And the Lord will not refuse to comfort one who really mourns for sin, or to exalt one who humbles himself before him.

BE reminded of what is to come, and MIGHT be sooner than we expect, FOR the sake of your own soul, and those of others! PRAY, PRAY, PRAY! PRAISE, and WORSHIP HIS HOLINESS! REJOICE THAT HIS LOVE HAS PROVIDED A WAY TO FOLLOW THROUGH this valley! BE THANKFUL, GRATEFUL, and APPRECIATIVE OF HIS EVERY instruction, provision, and PROMISE! LOVE AS HE HAS LOVED, and SPREAD what is right, just, and good! STUDY TO REMAIN IN HIM, and HE WILL REMAIN IN YOU! WHATEVER effort we exert FOR HIS GLORY, SHALL BE OUR GLORY in the end, forever, and ever, AMEN!!!
