HEAVENLY INCLINED...: MONDAY: THE MIGHT OF MENTALITY...

Thanksgiving for the LORD's Favor

Psalms 138 (A Psalm of David)
1/ I will praise thee with my whole heart: before the gods will I sing praise unto thee.
2/ I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy loving-kindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.
3/ In the day when I cried thou answeredst me, and strengthenedst me with strength in my soul.
4/ All the kings of the earth shall praise thee, O LORD, when they hear the words of thy mouth.
5/ Yea, they shall sing in the ways of the LORD: for great is the glory of the LORD.
6/ Though the LORD be high, yet hath he respect unto the lowly: but the proud he knoweth afar off.
7/ Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me: thou shalt stretch forth thine hand against the wrath of mine enemies, and thy right hand shall save me.
8/ The LORD will perfect that which concerneth me:
thy mercy, O LORD, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands... AMEN!!!

One CANNOT earn GRACE, it is HIS own ESSENCE; a gift, still, IF one claims to be IN HIS GRACE, we ARE to, or, OUGHT to, be reflections of that GRACE! 2 CORINTHIANS 6:1, tells us not to take HIS GRACE in vain! This means, living in LOVE, morality, ethics, virtue, righteousness, and, spiritual improvement, TOWARDS, spiritual maturity, WHILE, visibly BEING as LIGHTS, beaming OF *GOD*, beckoning the world, TO THE LIGHT! Righteousness MEANS, conduct in conformity with *GOD'S* WILL, and, "Be HOLY because I AM HOLY!", therefore, indicating that knowledge, wisdom, and, effort, DO, apply TO the righteous!!! NEVER forget, we were grafted in, and, if we do not bear fruit, as a dead branch, we will be pruned out, just as were, the natural branches!!!

We are not saved by works, instead, works PROVE HIM in us: they identify HIS own...

IF I claim ONENESS with *GOD*, through CHRIST JESUS, I am DEAD TO THE WORLD, THUS, LIVING as HIM, which is, hopefully, witnessed IN, and, THROUGH, my every thought, action, and, reaction; MEANING, I am, THROUGH CONSCIOUS application OF THE WORD, HIS COMMANDS, HIS WILL, REFLECTING righteousness, not, merely, FAITH! I become, the TRULY FRUITFUL branch, of THE VINE, the TRUE member of THE BODY/THE CHURCH, CHRIST JESUS, and, TESTIFY, then, GLORIFY, BOLDLY, BY my thoughts, actions, and, reactions, HIS name, because, HE IS WORTHY, and, IN HIS LOVE, has SHOWN me, how I OUGHT to exist, to which, I eagerly, adapt, and, comply!!!

MATTHEW 5:48...
So be perfect, just as your heavenly Father is perfect

1 PETER 1:14-16...
14/ Like obedient children, do not act in compliance with the desires of your former ignorance
15/ but, as he who called you is holy, be holy yourselves in every aspect of your conduct,
16/ for it is written, "Be holy because I (am) holy."

ROMANS 12:2...
Do not conform yourselves to this age but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and pleasing and perfect.

Conduct, in conformity to *GOD'S* WILL, marks the righteous; it is NOT because of guilt, or, ancient Laws, but, because of LOVE; LOVE for *GOD*, self, then, others! CHRIST JESUS gave us Commandments to live by, of which, the first is to LOVE *GOD*, with all of your mind, heart, and, soul; the second is, to LOVE one another!

LOVE COMPELS us to LIVE IN HIM, through conduct which conforms to *GOD*; in other words, morality, ethics, doing good, and, being good, and, ever striving to improve the spirit! It is about REFLECTING THE TRUTH, for ALL to bear witness to, FOR, and, TO HIS GLORY, RADIANTLY SHINING OF HIS POWER, GRACE, and, MERCIES!!!

It IS ALL ABOUT LOVE, baby, all about LOVE!!!

MATTHEW 4: 17...From that time on, Jesus began to preach and say, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand."

JOHN 14:15..."If you love me, you will keep my commandments.

NOTE: I do not intend to preach, rather to reach; to stir up, awaken, to inspire, and, bring forth, in discussion, that which is, perhaps, dormantly existing in the heart of hearts, thus, little, or, no, sugar coatings, just THE WORD of *GOD*, the TRUTH, along with some of my thoughts. And truth is, I am reminding myself always, as I practice these reminders, in the best of my abilities, and capacities, while RELYING on THE LORD to lead me on that narrow PATH---> MATTHEW 7: 14: "For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it... TO *GOD* BE ALL GLORY...

MONDAY: THE MIGHT OF MENTALITY...

A new day; a GIFT from THE LORD *GOD* ALMIGHTY! No matter what, precious is the dawn, the day, the time we have been allotted by HIS LOVE, which IS FULL OF GRACE, and MERCY FOR ALL who might seek HIM---

It IS a beautiful day, regardless of the weather, or what comes to mar it, because it IS a GIFT, and within, there IS power enough, especially when rooted IN *GOD*, to hold onto the beauty, the right, the just, and the good! Mentality IS decisive in how the hours before us will affect us, even when there appears that which would shake us...

Mistaken is our use of this time, on many levels, but as we grow INTO HIM, and LEARN of HIS WILL, we discover THE TRUTH, and HOPEFULLY we align, and adhere! There IS JOY and PEACE in FAITH, and FAITHFULNESS, so, let us ever deepen it, and our relationship WITH HIM, because NONE, or ANYTHING else WILL attend to us, protect us, BLESS us, and lead us!!!

The world is loud, it is noisy, it is corrupt, it is angry, it is volatile, it is many negatives all wrapped up in what INTENDS to loosen the RESOLVE! We KNOW enmity, and the enemy WILL show up at any time during this 24 hour span, so, we should be prepared MENTALLY, to withstand, endure, and persevere, and believe me, I know firsthand, sometimes it gets real hard to KEEP the spirit UP, but we ARE designed, AND informed enough, to do so!!!

On THIS side of mentality, of self-control, the world is also, a beautiful globe, filled with great wonders, and awe! When the world is viewed through the eyes of FAITH, and FAITHFULNESS, *GOD* IS noticed in everything, and IS PRESENT everywhere! It is when we take our eyes OFF HIM that we fall into the MIND TRAP of despondency, and feel overwhelmed by all that has come forth via the enemy(ies)!!!

PRAYER, PRAISE, WORSHIP, and REJOICING IN THE LORD, drown out the whisperings of opposition, and the oppressor(s)! Gratitude, thankfulness, and appreciation IN HIS NAME, maintain encouragement! LOVE negates hate, even when it gets in your face, and yah, there are times when it gets tough to REMAIN IN LOVE, but it ALWAYS PREVAILS, despite the indications that it doesn't! You see, IF more people WOULD REMAIN IN LOVE when hatred is the loudest, it's assumed powers WOULD diminish, and I don't mean feigned LOVE, or any of that falseness some throw around while they are, actually, hating!!!

THE LORD *GOD* LOVES us, even though, seriously, we are NOT very lovable, and certainly, don't give HIM much reason to continue in HIS LOVE for us, AND SO, since HE CAN, DOES, and WILL LOVE us, we MUST also! HE KNOWS we are messed up, but HE LOVES us, THEREFORE, we too, SHOULD understand IN COMPASSION, the commonness we share, especially in that, we ARE ALL flawed!!!

It IS EASY to step OUT of *GOD*, and LOVE WHEN confronted by evil, and hatred, BUT WHAT gain is in doing so? NONE! It merely places another victim in the pot, and PROVES PRECISELY WHY we NEED HIM, and LOVE! It adds to the already overly boiling mixture which is comprised of wickedness, and every negative imaginable!!!

Pressure is not reason enough to abandon *GOD*, LOVE, or FAITH/FAITHFULNESS, as it is ever going to be there! We CAN ease the pressure by NOT giving it energy! What is wrong in this world WON'T have power UNLESS we feed into it! Not saying that we won't be affected by such, instead, that we DON'T capacitate it by allowing ourselves to be overtaken!!!

IF we ARE IN THE LORD, and REMAIN IN HIM, we HAVE storehouses of STRENGTH TO withstand, diminish, and overcome the dire effects of the world, WHICH exist, SIMPLY, TO suck us in! Strength is NEVER ENDING IN FAITH, and FAITHFULNESS, AS IT IS DERIVED FROM THE MOST HIGH POWER, THE LORD *GOD*, and IS innate TO our relationship with HIM!!!

Challenges, and obstacles, come, and they go, and if you have survived this far, you KNOW that things work out, particularly for those OF *GOD*! Doesn't mean we won't face trials, tests, and tribulations, but it DOES mean we WILL make it, FOR HIS GLORY, and TRUTH, because TRUTH SAYS we ARE VICTORS IN HIS NAME, AMEN!!!

Every new week, BLESS THE LORD, I like to get my head on straight, that my mind IS enlightened, enabled, enriched, empowered, and encouraged TO STAND STRONG, THAT the adversary, and adversity CAN'T take me into that vortex where *GOD* does NOT exist! It ISN'T easy to retrain the being TO be stronger than the woes of the world, but WITH *GOD*, we learn, and we succeed! HALLELUJAH, PRAISE THE LORD *GOD*, and WORSHIP HIM all the while!!!

Study, embrace, and utilize THE WORD; it IS ALL EMPOWERING, and LEADS us TO REALITY!!!

I wish you a most BLESSED day, and week, *GOD* WILLING, and I wish you RENEWAL at every turn, as well as LOVE, HOPE, and that PEACE which DOES come from FAITH, and FAITHFULNESS, THANKS BE TO CHRIST JESUS, our LORD *GOD*, and SAVIOUR! HOLD ON, and KNOW WHOM, and WHAT IS TRUE; the rest is NOTHING more than distraction FROM TRUTH! OXOXOXO
