SUNDAY'S SACRED SCRIPTURES...

There is a PERPETUAL, and LOUD CALL to SEEK WISDOM! Without it, we are endangered, ignorant, and easily captivated by the world, and it's ways, thus, bound, and enslaved to enmity---

The WISDOM OF *GOD* IS for EVERYONE who travels this valley, and IS that which optimizes!!!

In self-presumption, one IMAGINES themselves to be wise, especially if they are held in esteem by others, or hold positions of power, or are wealthy, and so forth; there ARE SO many who have difficulty realizing the ACUTE need of the WISDOM OF THE LORD, but as they exist, they WILL be shown, as HIS PLAN involves a HUMBLING of the proud, and those HE has CALLED...

Since the beginning of the human race, we HAVE seen, and experienced, the pitfalls of the unwise, regardless of their stature! Just because someone leads others does NOT ensure, or prove their ability to do so, but they WILL be shown, whether or not they adapt to it, and these lessons may come in diverse ways, rending troubles of assorted proportions!!!

From kings all the way through to the lowly, the WISDOM OF *GOD* IS WORTHY, useful, and ideal in order to traverse this treacherous plane! The DESIRE TO gain WISDOM IS a beginning which guides us effectively, and more safely...

King Solomon began his reign appropriately by asking *GOD* for WISDOM, and understanding, and never has there been one to compare to him, ALTHOUGH later on, he rejected it, and TRUTH in order to exist as he pleased, having been overtaken by temptations of the flesh, and that carnally FALSE security in his standing, yet, his purpose remains, despite his choices...

There ARE absolute necessary lessons in THE WISDOM BOOKS, and regardless that they vary between denominations, it is fruitful to study them. Those OF THE LORD, SERVE HIM, then others, and ONLY with SOUND instruction, hence WISDOM, can we fulfill our partnership with HIM...

WISDOM 6...
1+++Hear, therefore, kings, and understand;
learn, you magistrates of the earth’s expanse!

2+++Give ear, you who have power over multitudes
and lord it over throngs of peoples!

3+++Because authority was given you by the Lord
and sovereignty by the Most High,
who shall probe your works and scrutinize your counsels!

4+++Because, though you were ministers of his kingdom, you did not judge rightly,
and did not keep the law,
nor walk according to the will of God,

5+++Terribly and swiftly he shall come against you,
because severe judgment awaits the exalted—

6+++For the lowly may be pardoned out of mercy
but the mighty shall be mightily put to the test.

7+++For the Ruler of all shows no partiality,
nor does he fear greatness,
Because he himself made the great as well as the small,
and provides for all alike;

8+++but for those in power a rigorous scrutiny impends.

9+++To you, therefore, O princes, are my words addressed
that you may learn wisdom and that you may not fall away.

10+++For those who keep the holy precepts hallowed will be found holy,
and those learned in them will have ready a response.

11+++Desire therefore my words;
long for them and you will be instructed.

12+++Resplendent and unfading is Wisdom,
and she is readily perceived by those who love her,
and found by those who seek her.

13+++She hastens to make herself known to those who desire her;

14+++one who watches for her at dawn will not be disappointed,
for she will be found sitting at the gate.

15+++For setting your heart on her is the perfection of prudence,
and whoever keeps vigil for her is quickly free from care;

16+++Because she makes her rounds, seeking those worthy of her,
and graciously appears to them on the way,
and goes to meet them with full attention.

17+++For the first step toward Wisdom is an earnest desire for discipline;

18+++then, care for discipline is love of her;
love means the keeping of her laws;
To observe her laws is the basis for incorruptibility;

19+++and incorruptibility makes one close to God;

20+++thus the desire for Wisdom leads to a kingdom.

21+++If, then, you find pleasure in throne and scepter, you princes of peoples,
honor Wisdom, that you may reign as kings forever.

All power is from God, and to be respected, even though the magistrate should sometimes abuse his authority. How severely did God chastise Moses, David, and Hezekiah. Those in power ought to know, and to perform their duty. Equally: In proportion to their exigencies, or he punishes all as they deserve. Mighty: This cannot be too often inculcated, (ver. 6.) lest the great should forget God and themselves. 

Each must render an account of his charge, and be punished accordingly if he offend. The Jewish judges were generally priests. The sovereign judge, to whom Job and David confidently appeal. The advantages of wisdom invite us to seek her. Think: With eager desire to be guided by her maxims. Providence: To facilitate our just designs; she is on the watch to save us. Discipline: We must begin with a sincere desire of instruction, and submit to correction, if we would come near to God, ver. 20. Wisdom is attained by this gradation.  Wisdom conducts to the throne, which shall last for ever. The pagans attributed the invention of wisdom to Socrates, or to Pythagoras. But she proceeds from the bosom of God, and was practiced long before their times. World: The wicked is ransomed and healed by the wise.
