HEAVENLY INCLINED...: THE WORLD OF SENSATIONALISM...

Thanksgiving for the LORD's Favor

Psalms 138 (A Psalm of David)
1/ I will praise thee with my whole heart: before the gods will I sing praise unto thee.
2/ I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy loving-kindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.
3/ In the day when I cried thou answeredst me, and strengthenedst me with strength in my soul.
4/ All the kings of the earth shall praise thee, O LORD, when they hear the words of thy mouth.
5/ Yea, they shall sing in the ways of the LORD: for great is the glory of the LORD.
6/ Though the LORD be high, yet hath he respect unto the lowly: but the proud he knoweth afar off.
7/ Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me: thou shalt stretch forth thine hand against the wrath of mine enemies, and thy right hand shall save me.
8/ The LORD will perfect that which concerneth me:
thy mercy, O LORD, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands... AMEN!!!

One CANNOT earn GRACE, it is HIS own ESSENCE; a gift, still, IF one claims to be IN HIS GRACE, we ARE to, or, OUGHT to, be reflections of that GRACE! 2 CORINTHIANS 6:1, tells us not to take HIS GRACE in vain! This means, living in LOVE, morality, ethics, virtue, righteousness, and, spiritual improvement, TOWARDS, spiritual maturity, WHILE, visibly BEING as LIGHTS, beaming OF *GOD*, beckoning the world, TO THE LIGHT! Righteousness MEANS, conduct in conformity with *GOD'S* WILL, and, "Be HOLY because I AM HOLY!", therefore, indicating that knowledge, wisdom, and, effort, DO, apply TO the righteous!!! NEVER forget, we were grafted in, and, if we do not bear fruit, as a dead branch, we will be pruned out, just as were, the natural branches!!!

We are not saved by works, instead, works PROVE HIM in us: they identify HIS own...

IF I claim ONENESS with *GOD*, through CHRIST JESUS, I am DEAD TO THE WORLD, THUS, LIVING as HIM, which is, hopefully, witnessed IN, and, THROUGH, my every thought, action, and, reaction; MEANING, I am, THROUGH CONSCIOUS application OF THE WORD, HIS COMMANDS, HIS WILL, REFLECTING righteousness, not, merely, FAITH! I become, the TRULY FRUITFUL branch, of THE VINE, the TRUE member of THE BODY/THE CHURCH, CHRIST JESUS, and, TESTIFY, then, GLORIFY, BOLDLY, BY my thoughts, actions, and, reactions, HIS name, because, HE IS WORTHY, and, IN HIS LOVE, has SHOWN me, how I OUGHT to exist, to which, I eagerly, adapt, and, comply!!!

MATTHEW 5:48...
So be perfect, just as your heavenly Father is perfect

1 PETER 1:14-16...
14/ Like obedient children, do not act in compliance with the desires of your former ignorance
15/ but, as he who called you is holy, be holy yourselves in every aspect of your conduct,
16/ for it is written, "Be holy because I (am) holy."

ROMANS 12:2...
Do not conform yourselves to this age but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and pleasing and perfect.

Conduct, in conformity to *GOD'S* WILL, marks the righteous; it is NOT because of guilt, or, ancient Laws, but, because of LOVE; LOVE for *GOD*, self, then, others! CHRIST JESUS gave us Commandments to live by, of which, the first is to LOVE *GOD*, with all of your mind, heart, and, soul; the second is, to LOVE one another!

LOVE COMPELS us to LIVE IN HIM, through conduct which conforms to *GOD*; in other words, morality, ethics, doing good, and, being good, and, ever striving to improve the spirit! It is about REFLECTING THE TRUTH, for ALL to bear witness to, FOR, and, TO HIS GLORY, RADIANTLY SHINING OF HIS POWER, GRACE, and, MERCIES!!!

It IS ALL ABOUT LOVE, baby, all about LOVE!!!

MATTHEW 4: 17...From that time on, Jesus began to preach and say, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand."

JOHN 14:15..."If you love me, you will keep my commandments.

NOTE: I do not intend to preach, rather to reach; to stir up, awaken, to inspire, and, bring forth, in discussion, that which is, perhaps, dormantly existing in the heart of hearts, thus, little, or, no, sugar coatings, just THE WORD of *GOD*, the TRUTH, along with some of my thoughts. And truth is, I am reminding myself always, as I practice these reminders, in the best of my abilities, and capacities, while RELYING on THE LORD to lead me on that narrow PATH---> MATTHEW 7: 14: "For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it... TO *GOD* BE ALL GLORY...

THE WORLD OF SENSATIONALISM...

People seem to LOVE sensationalism! The whole world sensationalizes all matters, even where there might not be anything about a matter which is sensational---

Let's use the artist known as Prince for an example; yesterday I was in line at the grocery store, and there were 5 different magazines covers that gave 5 different reasons for his demise! It is sensationalism screaming to be right, and to sway the minds of the masses! It is usually founded on negatives, from which negatives spiral forth like beams of a laser light show! It is like we WANT to hear the worst, to think the worst, and believe the worst! Interesting...

It IS just as easy, or even easier, to believe in the POSITIVE, and to remain positive! It is truly baffling that the world is so ready to embrace the negative, bad, and wrongs BEFORE what is POSITIVE, right, just, and good! HOW did this happen, and don't we SEE where this stems from???

We CAN'T WAIT; we are impatient, and so, as in the case of Prince, the world RUSHES to determine the cause of his death BEFORE the autopsy is completed, and determined! WHERE is the logic in this, and WHY waste SO much time, energy, and even money BEFORE the truth is revealed???

More proof of the fact that we NEED to take a good long look at ourselves, and the course this troubled old world is on! Sensationalism IS causing a huge amount of negativity, ranging from gossip, all the way through to hostilities of every kind, as people ASSUME things VOID of knowledge, and LONG for the worst to BE the truth!!!

It IS CLEARLY OBVIOUS that LOVE is lacking in the world, along with understanding of how it works! LOVE does NOT rush to embrace, or herald the worst, instead it HOPES for the best, and forwards what is POSITIVE! ALL of us HAVE the ability to exist IN LOVE, in what is right, just, and good! Each of us HAS the opportunity of *GOD*, and *GOD*LINESS! And yet, what do we witness? A world bent on the sensationalism of negativity, and a lust for confirmation of the worst! In most areas of our existence...

A rumour has MORE power than does THE TRUTH, and that speaks volumes for the state of this world! A lie has MORE power to lead us than does THE TRUTH, and that is downright scary!!!

THE LORD WILLS that we are busy in HOLY matters, FOR the purpose of the idleness which feeds the lies, deceptions, and other such which is of the enemy! Right now, at this point of my existence, and growth, I can HONESTLY SEE WHY! Embroiled IS the world in what works against us, from gossip, to bullying, all the way through to total destruction, AND people we would never imagine to be taken in by such ARE, contributing to the mess of the world, invisibly, but effectively, as they sit at their computers and stir up, entice, and worse, because they can, and because it IS part of the norm of these days! The negatives of this world ARE ruling minds, manners, characters, behaviours, actions, and reactions! Each day there IS indication of a serious problem in society, EVERYWHERE! There IS more hostility, hate, dissension, fear, anger, violence, mental illness, and on it goes...

HOW hard is it for anyone to just say no to what is negative, and exist in what is POSITIVE? REALLY! WHY IS negativity ALLOWED to have such a pull on SO many? It DOES begin with the heart, and the mind, and we DO have CONTROL OVER a lot more than we want to! Do we truly LIKE living in a world gone mad???

I don't know what is going on, but I do know that it needs to be addressed more, and more honestly! SOMETHING is wrong in these times, and I am QUITE sure that it stems from lack of *GOD*, and lack of LOVE, and lack of WANTING to change for the better! It is REALLY disturbing, and VERY dangerous for EVERYONE, let alone the Children who will have to bear the brunt of all the troubles...

RIGHT HERE, RIGHT NOW, the POSITIVE, the good, the just, the right, ARE, and DO exist; it IS a matter of CHOOSING to exist in such, and resisting in giving power to the negatives which in TRUTH have NO power, BECAUSE what is of LOVE, what is POSITIVE, what is good, and all which accompanies each IS EXISTENT TO ERADICATE what is NOT! You want SENSATIONALISM? LOOK TO THE LORD WHOM CREATED ALL IN EXISTENCE; the world's sensations all together, throughout all of time, as one, ISN'T more than a flicker next to HIM!!!

It IS JUST AS EASY to believe in LOVE, the POSITIVE, the right, the just, the good, as it is to just go along with what is not! And so, WHY do we continue to feed into the negatives of this world? WHY???

Let us PRAY, PRAY, and PRAY, and may *GOD* help us all!!!
