My walk with THE LORD is different than your walk with HIM, and yours is different than the next person's walk with HIM---
Each Christian is an individual with their own birth, history, and role in THE CHURCH! Each of us comes with a unique set of behaviours, characteristics, problems, issues, troubles, and so on, though hopefully, we will all meet in likeness somewhere on the journey, for we have the same aim, which is to SERVE *GOD*, and others, as well as to SHINE of HIM, and to reach THE KINGDOM!!!
Our standing as individuals in CHRIST JESUS, THE LORD *GOD*, has MUCH to do with what we have learned, and understand, though surely, there are also, thousands of other factors which show our individuality...
Because we have the Internet, there are millions of people who are over using discernment, and their right to help Brother's, and Sister's of THE LORD to remain spotless, and blameless! It is a noble endeavour to aid one another in remaining on THE PATH, but this is to be done quietly, kindly, and privately, NOT in full view of the rest of the world, and NOT in ways which place a stumbling block before them, or others, and NOT with smug superiority! Each of us HAS to remember that NONE, NOT ONE of us is perfect, and HAS our own heap of things to work through! It is far wiser to work through our flaws, errs, and so forth, than to spend endless hours in pursuit of anyone who might have an issue, or is erring, or whatever! WE HAVE caused a LOT of doubt, fear, and misunderstanding about Christianity since the world wide web became a tool for us; which now, is more like a playground, and is used in ways which work against us, and our standing in THE LORD!!!
SOME Christians are famous, some have been born into a world of riches, and luxury, and so on; then, there is the rest of us! The point of this statement IS that we CAN'T relate to some people's world because we have never experienced it, and we know NOT how they were raised, taught, or what their walk with THE LORD is, and so, while we might want to MAKE them seem more like ourselves, they are UNIQUELY different, and while we might WISH that everyone's standards in their Christianity be the same, IT ISN'T, thus, we should not, UNLESS we understand their side fully, determine their walk with HIM, because bottom line is, HE IS WORKING in them, according TO HIS WILL, IF their heart has rendered them TRUE Christians!!!
YES, there ARE tons of problems within THE CHURCH today, but it IS a reflection of ALL of us, not just a few! ALL the more reason EACH should be improving upon themselves; growing, and developing into maturity, BECAUSE it is BY example that we best lead! HOW can we jump on someone's errs when we are yet in err ourselves???
In fact, in THE CHURCH, the elders, and the leaders are those designated to discern, rebuke, and reprimand; this allows the process to be done quietly, kindly, and privately, AFTER considerable investigation, and determination! THE CHURCH is under fire enough from enmity, thus WHY would we shake up the internal strength, and integrity therein BY nit-picking, judging, condemning, and taking it upon ourselves to 'fix' others???
There are tons of things I find wrong within THE BODY of THE CHURCH, and while I may address them, I do NOT pick out any individual, for many reasons; one of which is that I am NOT any better off than anyone else, I HAVE my stuff to work through too, AND I BELIEVE that THE LORD IS WORKING in EACH of us! YES, my growth, and development MIGHT make a difference for someone else along the line, but let that be in TRUTH, and NOT because I determined that they should! Do you get what is meant here???
EACH of us errs, EACH of us has flaws, and we ought NOT decide that ours are less than those of another! WHEN we strengthen our OWN selves, and ARISE from our own set of imperfections then THE CHURCH is stronger, healthier, and standing on more solid grounds!!!
With the amount of holier than thou attitudes being wielded, and viewed by the whole world, we ARE doing damage! For instance, we are invoking fear, anger, confusion, hostility, and on it goes INSTEAD of INSPIRING, and INVITING others into the BEAUTIFUL WILL OF THE LORD *GOD* ALMIGHTY which IS LOVE, and ALL which is OF LOVE; POSITIVE, HEALING, PROVISIONAL, and whatever is right, just, and good! I personally, get very frightened by some of the Christian attitudes, and actions I hear, and see, so, just imagine what someone who is NOT informed but seeking *GOD* might take from they are seeing, and hearing as so many in the comm'UNITY' of CHRIST act in such ways! This DEFEATS our role IN HIS WILL, and HIS PLAN, and also, contributes to greater struggles for us all!!!
BE what *GOD* INTENDS YOU to be, and then SHARE the good HIS WORK might wrought in you with others, IN example, which means existing as HIS REFLECTION in all thought, said, and done! DON'T be more concerned about the errs and faults of other people, instead concentrate on your own, and it is possible that when you mature, you won't have to say much at all, you will simply, BE an inspiration for others to follow!!!
PRAY for those who need guidance, and DO NOT stand in *GOD'S* way as HE works in them, but mostly, BECOME ALL you can be IN HIS NAME, FOR HIS GLORY, the greater good of others, and for the glorious stability of THE CHURCH, for we know NOT when HE shall arrive!!!
