FAITH HAS A LIFE WHICH NEEDS TO BE NURTURED CONTINUOUSLY...

It's a crazy, troubled world we live in; often it seems like these times are worse than any previous, though really, they aren't, and our role in all of this is to remain as disentangled as is feasible, while moving onward in the name of THE LORD *GOD* ALMIGHTY...

What happens when the majority is entangled in the problems of the day? Focus upon what is right, just, and good is overlaid with fear, frustration, distress, confusion, deception, and much worse; there comes a point of humans influencing humans premised upon what is negative, instead of us being LED by what is of *GOD*, and IS POSITIVELY geared to take us through, and over what intends to keep us stagnate!!!

HE did NOT give us spirits of fear, or of self-defeat, instead spirits of TRUTH, POWER, LOVE, and self-control, grounded IN HIM, HIS WILL, and HIS WAYS! We HAVE to REMAIN IN HIM, no matter if the Earth is tilting on it's axis, for ONLY HE is TRUE; all else will cease to be, but HE exists eternal, of which we HAVE the invitation to share with HIM, IF we can STAND FIRM TO THE END, NOT tossed about in the turbulence of this time!!!

A wise statement I read somewhere says that integrity does the right thing when no one is looking, and when all others are weakened by the culture of hypocrisy! Don't you know that it IS hypocritical to claim THE LORD, then act as if HE is not near in times of great duress? FAITH BELIEVES IN HIM IN ALL SEASONS, and integrity KEEPS us in the TRUTH, no matter what is going on about us! Integrity of spirit SEES us DOING, and BEING as HE WILLS, regardless of the destructive waves of life around us; regardless of dangers looming, and so forth! Integrity is FAR more useful than merely in the human condition, it IS significant of those who esteem their HIGH standing in what is to come, and in THE LORD!!!

Check this out, as an example, in NO way meant judgmentally :

A Liberian Catholic Bishop says people in Liberia are being treated like “scum” during the Ebola crisis. Bishop Anthony Borwah, 48, says Liberian people are also facing polygamy, unemployment, domestic violence and child trafficking.

"As Bishop of my people I carry within my heart their wounds and pains every moment of life here," he told Time.

Borwah has lost his spiritual director, Father Miguel, of Spain, mentor and doctor Abraham Borbor, and prayer partner Tidi Dogba. All died of the Ebola virus.

Because of the crisis in Liberia, Borwah was not able to attend the synod on family in Rome happening this month. He did, however, submit a paper to the synod.

"Existential questions from the poor, prevalently during the Civil war, are been asked again: Where is God? What wrong have we (Liberians) done again? How come we have once again become the abandoned and scum of the earth?” the paper reads.

Borwah said the country needs more outside help.

"Recently one of the survivors — my kinsman — committed suicide when people avoided him and he felt that he was unworthy of love anymore," Borwah said. "We need more support to feed the thousand whom are hungry and angry and to care and counsel the Ebola survivors who carry the stigma."

You SEE, the human condition IS reigning OVER the spirit, so then, diminished is the knowledge to WAIT ON THE LORD! I could say a dozen or more things about this letter, but what is most obvious is that FEAR, and suffering overtook FAITH, and FAITHFULNESS! I TOTALLY get it that the suffering in this country is unimaginable, and exhausting, yet, there seems to be an ABANDONING OF THE LORD, and more! America has donated at least one billion dollars, Doctors, aides, troops, and more to such countries, not to mention all the other countries who have come to their aid, so, they are reacting in the flesh, and not in the spirit, which is understandable to some degree, given the direness of their situation, but NEVER ABANDON FAITH IN *GOD* for then, WHOM will PROTECT you from the hungry, devouring enemy?!!

Also, oneself, or groups, who claim THE LORD as their *GOD*, NEED to EVALUATE their FAITH, and their FAITHFULNESS, all the time. Are we acknowledging our sin? Are we repenting of said sin? Are we correcting sin? Are we keeping idols in our lives, such as fertility gods, and those less tangible ones such as uncontrolled desires? Are we being HONEST in our FAITH, and FAITHFULNESS? There are simply, many areas we need to assess in ourselves, and in the BODY of THE CHURCH...

As difficult as the most difficult times are, FAITH HAS THE POWER TO ENABLE us to endure, persevere, overcome, and more! FAITH IS OF *GOD* and IS a SHIELD of PROTECTION, as well as a fountain of ENCOURAGEMENT! While all of THE CLOTH are human, they have the responsibility to KEEP FAITH alive, well, and to encourage the people to HIGHER understanding, despite the most awful human suffering, AND they have the responsibility to, inspire repentance, humility, integrity, and courage during such times, AS they teach, reach, and touch souls which are wavering...

Fear is the enemy alive, and it is doing mighty damage in societies across the globe, WHICH we have POWER OVER, IF we ARE OF *GOD*, and IF we RELY ON HIM, and IF we WAIT UPON HIM! One CANNOT believe in HIM when things are fine, then challenge HIM when hell breaks loose; this IS that which PROVES whether TRUE FAITH existed in the first place, and will last until the end!!!

ANY Servant of THE LORD needs SUPERNATURAL support, as well as hands on support, yet, they MUST also, GIVE as testimony, their RELIANCE ON THE LORD, in more than thought, they must exemplify it FOR the people, and the GLORY of *GOD*! They MUST BE AS THE LORD for those who count on them! It is so complicated WHEN we waver in our TRUST, and FAITH, for then we are endangered by our own flesh!!!
