Regardless that some might dispute me, I STUDY, and learn as much about THE *GODHEAD* as is feasible, and of course, the nature of sin, that I am more OPEN to HIS hand in my life, and less hindered by the shackles of this time! Through gaining insight, I am more inclined to live, speak, and act according to HIS WILL, then be a more radiant REFLECTION of that WILL! I have much to learn because what I THOUGHT I knew before I gave my life to HIM, was far removed from HIS WILL: not only that, I have to learn to LOVE as HE COMMANDS, I have to learn to RELY ON HIM TOTALLY, I have to learn MANY ways of HIS that I am not weighed down, looking back, side to side, or whatever the enemy might lay before me! Included in this learning, is FAITH, and FAITHFULNESS; FIDELITY, because ahead, there is to be a great, unprecedented tug of war between the Devout, and the evil ruler of this world! Regardless of what some might say, Christianity is PRO-ACTIVE involvement in the process of SANCTIFICATION, NOT passive, and taken for granted!!!
There is NOTHING said by *GOD* that ends there! ALL HE teaches, instructs, bids, and WILLS, works in sync, involves ALIGNMENT, and this means effort to do our part in stripping off the world, and stepping into the spirit! A COVENANT is not one sided; it is at least, dual, and this is the COVENANT OF RECONCILIATION, offered with a premium! HE has set forth the standards, and the principles, and HAS fulfilled HIS side, we are to HONOUR our part! Awareness, and realization OF our abilities, and capacities IN HIM, is what HE asks of us, NOT perfection! We ARE going to fall short, trip, stumble, and even fall, here and there, but that we keep on keepin' on, in the race, is what matters, because it SHOWS HIM IN US, and ACTS LIKE A BEACON for others, as well as SHOWS our LOVE in ACTION!!!
The WHOLE of THE NEW TESTAMENT IS FULL of instructions FOR the Christian, whom HE KNOWS will have a tough time taking off the old self, and putting on the NEW self! Apostle Paul was most eloquent, and elaborate in SHARING insight into THE LORD'S WILL, and WAYS! CHRIST TELLS US that ANYONE who wants to come after HIM, MUST deny the self, and take UP their cross, daily! Hmmmn, does that indicate being passive???
It ISN'T hard labour, it is LOVE IN ACTION to BECOME WHOM HE CREATED US TO BE! HE is not saying to become lost in HIM, HE IS SAYING TO STEP INTO THE REAL BEING, and as explained so perfectly by Paul, this is an area of will, THOUGH WE RELY ON THE LORD, and THE HOLY SPIRIT TO INCREASE our abilities, that we are SURELY SHINING of HIM, and BEARING fruits WORTHY! The spirit IS the TRUTH of our existence: HE CREATED US IN HIS IMAGE, HE IS SPIRIT, and SO are we! The NEW self is the FREEING of the spirit from the carnal bondage, from the egocentric self that REBELS against what is ACTUALLY normal for us, to SERVE HIM, and others, NOT the self!!!
IN CHRIST JESUS, we are FREED from the chains which contain the spirit; THIS spirit IS our TRUE BEING! Spirit does NOT have inclination to go against THE LORD, thus the enemy has done a bang-up job of blinding us, and deafening us, that we remain in the shackles he perfected for our separation from *GOD*, LOVE, TRUTH, and VICTORY!!!
Besides all this, when LOVE rules the being, as is natural to Devotion, WHY wouldn't we want to, in our relationship with HIM, BE as knowledgeable, and understanding as is feasible, that said relationship is complete???
THEN, such keeps us BUSY, not idle, not in the minefields of confusion, deception, sabotage, or whatever else might prowl for adverse opportunity against us!!!
Yep, regardless of what some say, I BELIEVE that heading home requires me to BE PREPARED, STRONG, DILIGENT, INFORMED, ARMORED, LOVING, KIND, TOLERANT, SELFLESS, and MUCH more, FOR HIS GLORY, and for my own good, as well as my safety, because one thing is for sure, the enemy ASPIRES to take EVERY soul from it's rightful inheritance, and will stop at nothing, even with the Saints, and NONE of what enlightens me, enables me, enriches me, endows me, empowers me, and encourages me, comes easy for me, because the world had it's way in teaching me wrongly, and original sin lies in the LOVE of self OVER *GOD*! But then, I no longer WANT to be a part of anything that is not GOOD, because I have been to the gates of hell, and back!!!
*GOD* IS LEADING me, of this there is NO question, but I, too, have to be as open as the universe to receive HIM, HIS WILL, and HIS WAYS, that I am ABLE to MAINTAIN FOCUS ON HIM, as well as to CENTER HIM in my being, and life! It IS A PARTNERSHIP, it IS!!!

What a dismal world would this be, if it were not for the light of the sun! What is there in heaven that supplies its place? The glory of God lightens that city, and the Lamb is the Light thereof.
God in Christ will be an everlasting Fountain of knowledge and joy to the saints in heaven. There is no night, therefore no need of shutting the gates; all is at peace and secure. The whole shows us that we should be more and more led to think of heaven as filled with the glory of God, and enlightened by the presence of the Lord Jesus.
Nothing sinful or unclean, idolatrous, or false and deceitful, can enter. All the inhabitants are made perfect in holiness. Now the saints feel a sad mixture of corruption, which hinders them in the service of God, and interrupts their communion with him; but, at their entrance into the holy of holies, they are washed in the laver of Christ's blood, and presented to the Father without spot. None are admitted into heaven who work abominations. It is free from hypocrites, such as make lies. As nothing unclean can enter heaven, let us be stirred up by these glimpses of heavenly things, to use all diligence, and to perfect holiness in the fear of God.
