Are we REALLY so full of the effects of this world, that we CAN'T go one day without hurting someone, whether with thoughts, words, actions, and reactions? Do we HAVE to be so aggressive, that we will put someone down, scorn or reject someone, drive through crowds of people in a car, devise weapons of mass destruction, execute innocents, plot attacks, and that which gets only worse, as we hear of the happenings of this world? Are we REALLY that far gone???
Do we derive pleasure from acting in ways that are harmful to others. WHY is this so? WHAT does it prove? WHERE is the pleasure found???
There are those that blame *GOD* for the wrongs WE do! WE are responsible! WE are the ones who CAN'T seem to embrace LOVE for what it is, and for the GOOD it brings! WE are the ones who CONTINUALLY defy what is right, just, and good, and for what? WHAT is being accomplished in our wrongness? Seriously...
and said, "Amen, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven.
Become like children: the child is held up as a model for the disciples not because of any supposed innocence of children but because of their complete dependence on, and trust in, their parents. So must the disciples be, in respect to God. Children, when very young, do not desire authority, do not regard outward distinctions, are free from malice, are teachable, and willingly dependent on their parents. It is true that they soon begin to show other dispositions, and other ideas are taught them at an early age; but these are marks of childhood, and render them proper emblems of the lowly minds of true Christians. Surely we need to be daily renewed in the spirit of our minds, that we may become simple and humble, as little children, and willing to be the least of all. Let us daily study this subject, and examine our own spirits...
Yes, I can understand more, the SOUNDNESS of THE LORD'S bid for us to become Childlike in our spiritual growth, because while Children are not perfect, they are not yet conformed to ways of this world, nor filled with vile, anger, envy, or any adverse condition. It is WE, the Adults, who TEACH them such things! THE POINT IS, THEY ARE TEACHABLE, BECAUSE THEY ARE OPEN HEARTED, and MINDED! A Child does not sit around enmeshed in evil thoughts, instead, they are busy discovering, enjoying the wonders of life, and seeking guidance! They have better things to do than to plot, just as we should, and IF we KEPT busy in learning/knowing our LORD, LOVE, and what comprises HIS WILL, we too, would become so engrossed, evil would not have the opportunity to enslave us!!!
*GOD* HELP, and BE with us ALL!!!

Since the beginning, Adults have become lost in the world, and so, it WAS necessary for THE LORD to come to us, and SHOW us, through HIS LOVE, gentleness, and perfectly HOLY nature, THE WAY! We have NO OTHER model worth patterning our lives after, thus, if we DON'T, or WON'T take the time to KNOW HIM, and HIS WILL, it is pretty much the same as it has been since way back when!!!
As Parents, as Teachers, as role models FOR the Children of this life, IF we WERE FOLLOWING HIS example, THEY would grow into nearly perfect reflections of HIMSELF, and HIS GLORY would FILL THE EARTH!!!
