The United States of America is a beautiful country, teeming with all sorts of bounties! Within our coastlines, there are deserts, mountains, canyons, valley's, plains, farmlands, wastelands, badlands, endless beaches, lakes, rivers, waterways, awesome sunrises, and sunsets, and all which comprises balance in Nature...
We call it *GOD'S* country, NOT because we feel HE favoured us over anyone else, instead, because of the splendid generosity of spectacular attributes; it IS a most breathtaking sight, and is full of resources, CREATED painstakingly by HIS own hands, and GENIUS! Few could deny that we ARE BLESSED!!!
We have our problems, as does any country, and the problems are increasing, no doubt; still, it is a country of HOPE, of promise, of resilience, and of ability! Our country was founded on reliance of THE LORD, which has seen some change, yet, for the most part, *GOD* continues to be our SHINING GRACE...
The people whom populate this country are diverse; I doubt if there is a land in the world that is not represented in the USA! We are the melting pot of the world, which, for the most part, was, and remains a POSITIVE thing, though, as our population increases, and other traditions, cultures, and religious foundations become mainstream, we are seeing increased loss of the rights of the natural citizens, which is not yet, severe, though, IS an issue that needs to be addressed, and resolved...
We are a generous country, and care for much of the world, in numerous ways, and in many areas of care! Our compassion is great, and we rush to aid most people of the world! We are so generous, that many of our own citizens suffer! Our people are intelligent, determined, creative, and ever striving to improve, though of course, we are witnessing need for improvement in many capacities, such as Government! We are DRIVEN!!!
I have, and have had MANY Friends from other countries, and one thing they have all told me, is that all we seem to do is to work, eat, and sleep! I asked some of them if they thought that we were all millionaires, and didn't have to work hard! The answer was varied, but mostly, they didn't know what they thought, but it was sure different than what they saw/see! We ARE a hard-working country, and because of the times, many of us have to work several jobs to afford the cost of living, which has escalated, while the wages have barely increased over the decades! Insurances eat up SO much money of our people, that many of us are without health insurance, and other imperative insurances! Not only that, the genius insurance companies have made it nearly impossible for those over 65 to continue to afford their life insurance, as they triple, and quadruple monthly rates of the Elderly! Areas such as education have taken a height that leave lots without the option of College! Hunger, and homelessness are on the rise daily, as people cannot afford to live as they once did, and millions in the streets, are School aged Children! We, the people have our share in the responsibilities of maintaining our lifestyles, and means, too; complacency is rampant, and other factors lie on us! Yes, we have LOTS to contend with, still, we ARE BLESSED!!!
As I grow, I realize that there are not many countries in the world that compare to this one; in beauty, in advantage, in freedoms, in many ways, and I am all the more grateful for my birthright!!!
Today, we celebrate the Birthday of this magnificent country, and I am reminded of what my country means to me, but mostly, I am reminded that *GOD* IS still with us, and I PRAY that we HONOUR HIM more, more, and more, that HE remains with us! We are nothing without HIM, and it IS BY HIS LOVE, and hand that we have endured, persevered, and continued to grow! Let us PRAISE HIM, WORSHIP HIM, and REJOICE IN HIS PRESENCE, and PROVISION, and may HE BLESS THE USA!!!
