Here in America, there are many things to reckon with; one of which is, we have to rethink our priorities where money is concerned! We are at a point where the dollar is NOT stretching, as it did before, though, the cost of living is escalating, ever higher, every single day! It is time to, seriously, consider what this means! I just read, and, have believed for some time now, that the middle class is quickly, being wiped out, which, with the layoffs, downsizing, bad economy, and, rising prices, should not be shocking, instead, worked though!!!
In other countries, poverty is becoming so severe, I can't bear to deal with the statistics, and, many of these countries RELIED heavily upon America, to aid them! They are yet, receiving some aid, but, as we spiral on the downtrend, many middle class, whom, usually feed the aid pots, are unable to contribute, as they are fighting to maintain their own lives! So, you see, as one hand closes up, another must come forward, in order for the MOST needy, and, suffering, to be sustained!!!
We turn to *GOD* for answers, with PRAYERS, and, diligent seeking of HIS advice, and, guidance! HE asks us to care for the world, and so, IF we are sincere in our efforts, HE WILL BE nearby, to guide, and, direct us, as well as, make the impossible possible!!!
Yes, there are LOTS of Scriptures concerning money, and, we will begin with one that speaks volumes:
PROVERBS 3: 9-10...
9/ Honor the LORD with your wealth, with first fruits of all your produce;
10/ Then will your barns be filled with grain, with new wine your vats will overflow.
One thing EVERYONE should be aware of is something TOO many neglect: ALL we HAVE COMES from THE LORD, our *GOD*! HE HAS PROVIDED for the entire human race, yet, TOO many imagine that THEY, by themselves, have created all before them! Another thing, to HONOUR HIM, and, to PROVIDE for others, we are to share a portion of ALL we have! This can be done in a variety of ways, and, MUST be done without any discomfort, instead, with a heart of willingness!!!
Another thing, we SHOULD realize what wealth REALLY is, and, base our directions upon THE TRUTH!!!
Next, we should NEVER LOVE money, because this shift of LOVE to a thing, from *GOD*, is disastrous, and, deadly, and will leave us, at some point, without HIM, or, means!!!
This is a very broad, and, deep subject, but, IS worthy, so, I think it will be helpful for many of us, if we delve into it! It is an area NOT well taught, if it were, there would not be so much poverty, and, suffering, and, the downturns of economies!!!
May *GOD* BLESS, and, BE with us ALL, and, may we EVER HONOUR HIM, in prayer, PRAISE, WORSHIP, LOVE, and, actions aligned TO HIS WILL, and, WAYS!!!
