The photo says to think different, and, I have to tell you, this is KEY to a walk with *GOD*! We are, through CHRIST, to take off the old self, and, put on the new self, which is, the spirit, and, deny the carnal, egocentric, fleshy being! We are to live FOR THE SPIRIT, *GOD*, and, become as like HIM, as is feasible, thus, we HAVE to think differently, than we were raised to, because, we were raised in ways of the world, largely, over *GOD*!!!
The FACT IS, *GOD* WILL come, someday, to make HIS CREATION PURE again, but, it is SENSELESS to even begin to assess this in human time, INSTEAD, we are to PREPARE for it, in MANY ways, because, come those times, due to complacency, slacking off, and, even arrogance of over-confidence, the tactics of the evil forces of this world, WILL, as is written, be able to take many down with them!!!
Here is some advice, besides what CHRIST told us in MATTHEW 24:
EPHESIANS 6: 10-19...
10/ Finally, draw your strength from the Lord and from his mighty power.
11/ Put on the armor of God so that you may be able to stand firm against the tactics of the devil.
12/ For our struggle is not with flesh and blood but with the principalities, with the powers, with the world rulers of this present darkness, with the evil spirits in the heavens.
13/ Therefore, put on the armor of God, that you may be able to resist on the evil day and, having done everything, to hold your ground.
14/ So stand fast with your loins girded in truth, clothed with righteousness as a breastplate,
15/ and your feet shod in readiness for the gospel of peace.
16/ In all circumstances, hold faith as a shield, to quench all (the) flaming arrows of the evil one.
17/ And take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
18/ With all prayer and supplication, pray at every opportunity in the Spirit. To that end, be watchful with all perseverance and supplication for all the holy ones
19/ and also for me, that speech may be given me to open my mouth, to make known with boldness the mystery of the gospel
20/ for which I am an ambassador in chains, so that I may have the courage to speak as I must.
EPHESIANS 5 tells us HOW we should live; being WISE, making the MOST of the opportunity of this time! We are to TRY to understand the WILL of *GOD*, THAT we are SAFE in our journey of time! IF I had been properly TAUGHT HOW to live, from the beginning, my spirit would be very mature by now, yet, I suppose, the fact that it took me all these years, and, all these lessons, is according TO HIS WILL, for HIS own reasons, in which case, increases my efforts to understand, embrace, and, comply!!!
MANY people view time as an ally, NO WAY! Time is NOT your advocate, it is here, then, it is gone, and, SERIOUSLY, you have ONE chance towards understanding, and, preparedness, IN HIS name, and, to waste this time, is sad, though, it is reason for celebration for the evil of this world!!!
Do you know who you are? IF you did, you would realize much of what *GOD*/CHRIST is telling you, and, act accordingly! You would understand the NEED to think differently than the world! So what if you have to give up a few things, and, be more FOCUSED upon what is HOLY, righteous, good, and, wholesome; it WILL be worth the effort, come THAT DAY of DAYS?! So what if you have to grow up, alter some behaviours, in order to have integrity of character; it WILL bring you glories, come THAT DAY of DAYS?! Even to make it in this life, for the long term, we have to PRIORITIZE, in order to maximize; we have to learn things, we have to understand the right way things benefit us, and, so forth! We CAN'T expect to have it both ways, because *GOD*/CHRIST, has been CLEAR in HIS instructions, which, are NOT to hinder us, instead, to TAKE US HIGHER, TO OUR RIGHTFUL INHERITANCE!!!
ALWAYS THINK with UNDERSTANDING, and, WISDOM BEFORE you act! ALWAYS consider what IS *GODLY*, and, according TO HIS WILL! ALWAYS KNOW that YOU ARE ABOVE the very things which can take you away from your TRUE being! ALWAYS REALIZE that what is of the world, is NOT healthy for you, it is NOT good for you, and, is NOT what *GOD* wants for you; HE wants you to KEEP your mind on that ABOVE, not on matters of the world, because, the matters of the world, are trained to entice, then, bind you!!!
THE WORD is EXTREMELY LOGICAL, sound, and, sensible, BUT, that old serpent is working hard to convince us otherwise!!!
