The reason CHRIST told HIS Disciples, and, followers to sell all they had, WAS FOR the COMMON GOOD of ALL; that, IN LOVE, NO ONE person, was lacking, hungry, homeless, or, needy, in any way! The people pooled their resources together, and, equally, distributed to one, and, all, BECAUSE, where there is NO need, there is NO DIVISION, RESENTMENT, DISSENSION, or, any other negative, AND, because LOVE is EVER FORWARDING, NEVER self-inclined, ALWAYS looking out for others!!!
Prayer is much the same! We should pray for our Families, other people, our leaders, our Countries, our work place, our Churches, and, ANY thing which, has the potential to falter, wane, or, disrupt, the HOLY flow of benevolence, PEACE, HOPE, LOVE, and, CHARITY, FOR ALL!!!
To pray is to open UP for the COMMON GOOD of ALL in *GOD'S* CREATION, with understanding that, the more enabled EVERYONE is, the less destructive is the darkness! It is a switch to THE LIGHT, if you will! It is the portal of the HEAVENS, allowing *GOD* to DO HIS thing, FOR the GOOD of ALL!!!
People pray for the self, more than anything, and, this is, fine in certain matters, but, mostly, prayer is FOR the GOOD of the world, and, an end to suffering, affliction, and, whatever deception brings our way!!!
You see, IF you have FAITH, you KNOW, that *GOD* knows what you need, before you do, then, you TRUST HIM, to provide for you! And yes, HE also knows what the world needs, however, HE is MOVED by LOVE, compassion, care, and, unselfishness of HIS people! HIS LOVE is increased by our LOVE, and so, HE is more inclined towards those who communicate with HIM, for the GOOD of others! Some people pray for shoes, when they already have 30, or more, pairs! Come on! If you need more shoes, pray that you can afford them, AFTER you have prayed for the world! Some people have NO shoes at all! Shoes are nice, no doubt, but, there are SO many matters, much more imperative, FOR the GOOD of ALL!!!
ONENESS with *GOD*, IS found in comm'UNITY', in HIS name! WHEN people CARE for one another, AS DOES HE, then, a chain reaction of GOODNESS, prevails! Just think about this for a while, and, study CHRIST, in the fullness of HIS teachings, and, you will begin to see, the sense, and, sensibility OF placing ALL before yourself, in most matters!!!
PRAISE THE LORD, our *GOD*, and, DELIVERER, who HAS set forth SOUND PRINCIPLES, we ONLY NEED to adhere to them, in order for them to benefit, one, and, ALL!!!
