In joyous obedience, we SHOULD serve THE LORD, our *GOD*, whom, tirelessly, and, endlessly, provides for us, protects us, guides us, heals us, and, on HIS gifts to us, go...
Tell me, who else is worthy of the best of ourselves? No being in CREATION, in existence, is worthy! CHRIST JESUS, our LORD, *GOD*, and, SAVIOUR, went the FULL distance for us, all because of LOVE!!!
It only seems fitting to me, that, as much LOVE as is humanly feasible, be returned to HIM, BY obedience, and, spiritual growth/maturity! I could NEVER hope to repay HIM, and, HE does not expect such, however, that I DESIRE to PLEASE HIM, and, BECOME as much like HIM, as is feasible, causes HIM to LOVE even more! I have nothing to give to HIM, other than my acceptance of HIS WILL, and, compliance to HIS WAYS, which, is what HE is seeking from HIS own!!!
In this obedient LOVE I have for HIM, I SEE the need to embrace, then, utilize LOVE, foremost, because, LOVE aids in the growth, and, development of my spirit, into some semblance of HIM! In this LOVE, I pattern my character, and, behaviours, to the best of my abilities, to REFLECT HIM, in ways such as, LOVING ALL, being compassionate, caring, sharing, kind, tolerant, understanding, without any negative thought, action, or, reaction, towards humanity! In this LOVE, I am PEACEFUL, calm, controlled, conscious, conscientious, and, considerate! In this LOVE, I am aware of HOW I exist, and, HOW I deal with others, even if it might not be perfectly aligned to HIM, at least, I am striving for perfection, in ALL matters conforming TO HIS WILL, and, HIS WAYS! It is IMPORTANT to me, that, I come as close to HIM, and, HIS WAYS, as is possible, in the time I am allotted, TO, and, FOR HIS GLORY, because I LOVE HIM, respect, and, regard HIM, HIS WILL, HIS WAYS, that much!!!
Obedience to *GOD* involves a bit of consciously deliberate understanding of HIS PRECEPTS, then, using them, to shape our lives! LOVE is primary, then, of this LOVE, comes rightful behaviours, such as, we understand that the body IS HIS TEMPLE, thus, we respect it, as being so; we strive for modesty, chastity, ethics, integrity, honesty, morality, as well as all of the above, and, more! We REMAIN BUSY IN our quest to become ONE with HIM!!!
It ISN'T easy, I can testify to this! That old side-winding serpent, is ever close by, to throw you an obstacle, sometimes so fast, you don't even realize you are reacting to it, until, it is nearly overtaking you! We are GOING to stumble, trip, fall, but, we repent, correct, and, become more aware! Then too, people are challenges unlimited, in diverse ways, but, we have to BLESS them, forgive them, and, PRAY for them, as well as, take note of each challenge as it arises, that, we are more optimized the next time:)))
FOCUSING UPON THAT ABOVE, and, not on matters of this world, aids GREATLY, in becoming obedient to *GOD*! When we are busy in pleasing HIM, much of the deception, lies, confusion, and, delusion, is behind us, or, off to the sidelines, making it MUCH easier to walk the talk! We, simply, have to KEEP THE FAITH, BE FAITHFUL, BE GOOD, DO GOOD, and, CONSIDER HIM, in ALL we think, do, or say, and then, before we know it, we are, albeit, imperfect reflections, we ARE radiating HIM, HIS TRUTH, HIS LOVE, HIS WILL, and, HIS WAYS! I don't know about anyone else, but, personally, I, after LOTS of thought, cannot think of any better way to HONOUR HIM, and, GLORIFY HIS HOLY name, for ALL to bear witness to! PRAISE THE LORD, CHRIST JESUS, the name ABOVE ALL names, forevermore! AMEN!!!
