1 CORINTHIANS 1:26-31... 26/ Consider your own calling, brothers. Not many of you were wise by human standards, not many were powerful, not many were of noble birth.
27/ Rather, God chose the foolish of the world to shame the wise, and God chose the weak of the world to shame the strong,
28/ and God chose the lowly and despised of the world, those who count for nothing, to reduce to nothing those who are something,
29/ so that no human being might boast before God.
30/ It is due to him that you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God, as well as righteousness, sanctification, and redemption,31/ so that, as it is written, "Whoever boasts, should boast in the Lord."
COLOSSIANS 2:6-20...
6/ So, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, walk in him,
7/ rooted in him and built upon him and established in the faith as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving.
8/ See to it that no one captivate you with an empty, seductive philosophy according to human tradition, according to the elemental powers of the world and not according to Christ.
9/ For in him dwells the whole fullness of the deity bodily,
10/ and you share in this fullness in him, who is the head of every principality and power.
11/ In him you were also circumcised with a circumcision not administered by hand, by stripping off the carnal body, with the circumcision of Christ.
12/ You were buried with him in baptism, in which you were also raised with him through faith in the power of God, who raised him from the dead.
13/ And even when you were dead (in) transgressions and the uncircumcision of your flesh, he brought you to life along with him, having forgiven us all our transgressions;
14/ obliterating the bond against us, with its legal claims, which was opposed to us, he also removed it from our midst, nailing it to the cross;15/ despoiling the principalities and the powers, he made a public spectacle of them, leading them away in triumph by it.
16/ Let no one, then, pass judgment on you in matters of food and drink or with regard to a festival or new moon or sabbath.
17/ These are shadows of things to come; the reality belongs to Christ.
18/ Let no one disqualify you, delighting in self-abasement and worship of angels, taking his stand on visions, inflated without reason by his fleshly mind,
19/ and not holding closely to the head, from whom the whole body, supported and held together by its ligaments and bonds, achieves the growth that comes from God.
20/ If you died with Christ to the elemental powers of the world, why do you submit to regulations as if you were still living in the world?
2/ Now it is of course required of stewards that they be found trustworthy.
3/ It does not concern me in the least that I be judged by you or any human tribunal; I do not even pass judgment on myself;
4/ I am not conscious of anything against me, but I do not thereby stand acquitted; the one who judges me is the Lord.
5/ Therefore, do not make any judgment before the appointed time, until the Lord comes, for he will bring to light what is hidden in darkness and will manifest the motives of our hearts, and then everyone will receive praise from God.
Evermore, should we remain, humble, and, in AWE of *GOD*, and, HIS GIFT, CHRIST; not only in thought, and, words, but, in actions, and, deeds, should we move forward, in improving the spirit, that, maturity of spirit, SHINES as HIS LIGHT, for all to bear witness to, and, speaks volumes for our placing IN the BODY/CHRIST/CHURCH!!!
Let not, the world dissuade your efforts, nor, should they be able to affect what you KNOW, from THE *GODHEAD*! Stand steadfast, ever studying, learning, embracing, understanding, and, living IN THE WORD; free from the condemnation of carnality, and, it's hindrances! LIVE IN *GOD*, KEEP YOUR MIND UPON THAT ABOVE, and, FOCUS upon perfection of the being; for this is ALL, that matters to the end!!!
*GOD* calls whom HE will, HE has MERCY upon whom HE will, HE has pity upon whom HE will, and, HE has compassion upon whom HE will; it IS ALL ABOUT HIM, from the beginning, to the end, thus, ON HIM, should our sights remain, and, should our efforts, pertain to; all else is fading away, temporal, and, useful for HIS own purpose/reason!!!
BE whom you are, IN the name of the LORD, our *GOD*, who HAS CREATED you, for HIS own WILL, only, to become, better, and, better, from deep within! Let NO ONE disarm you! Let NO ONE belittle you! Let NO ONE take what *GOD* HAS brought forth, regardless of rejection, or, disdain for your right to BE!!!
The crosses we have to bear, are uniquely ours, and, besides the GOOD that comes from bearing these crosses, they are no one else's to question, nor, to bear! They are SPIRIT empowered, and, will take us TO our rightful inheritance, IF we remain SOUNDLY STEADFAST IN *GOD*!!!
