Sometimes, even, unknowingly, or, unconsciously, we do things, which, block the BLESSINGS of *GOD*! This is one reason, we are taught to be conscientious, always aware of our actions, and, fully, aligned to THE WORD! Never forget, *GOD*, like a FATHER, teaches us, corrects us, and, chastises us, that, we GROW into worthy beings!!!This is, also, another example of lip service, over acting in righteousness, because, while we THINK we are doing enough, by having FAITH, and, believing, we might not be DOING! We have to walk the walk, and, work the talk, so to speak!!!
Some are nearly devout, but, spend their time DOING things away from devotion, such as, hanging out with the wrong people, being idle, lazy, treating people in ways against LOVE, gossiping, judging, creating obstacles for others, letting the bad overtake the good, drinking too much, partying too much, allowing porn, and, other such, take over their senses, and, on it goes! The life of the devout, IS devout! It is giving up that, which, can remove us from *GOD*, and/or, places HIM, secondary, to our needs, which, is against, all we ARE, in the name of CHRIST JESUS; remember, we are dead TO the world, ALIVE IN HIM!!!
So, many people wonder why their prayers, and, petitions are not answered, or, fret, because they have been waiting, so long, for a BLESSING, without, EVER considering that, perhaps, they are living in ways which, block their prayers, and, petitions!!!
I can't say this enough; this isn't an off, and, on, game; a walk with *GOD* is SERIOUS business, and, requires deliberation, diligence, conscientiousness, constant consistency, and, ongoing improvement, every, single day!!!
If you feel as if *GOD* has been ignoring you, or, find that you are being put through some trials, or, being tested, take a long look at your thoughts, actions, reactions, behaviours, morals, standards, and, ethics; it just MIGHT be, that, you are to blame!!!
*GOD* doesn't bring wrong, nor, bad, to our lives, but, HE DOES allow us to experience such things, that, we LEARN to call upon HIM, PRIMARILY, and, live with HIM as our sight, internally, or, externally!!!
If you find that you have faltered, repent, ask for forgiveness, strive to correct what is wrong, and, stand in FAITH! Some will say that we don't have to repent, but, I repent, and, ask for forgiveness, for EVERY thing I do wrong, for the sake of, reinforcing in myself, the ways of righteousness, as well as, exemplifying, that I am conscious of my wrongdoing, and, sincere, in correcting myself! *GOD* does not shut us out, IF we are sincerely, and, honestly, TRYING to improve our beings, IN HIS name, but, HE WILL ALWAYS teach, and, guide us, after all, HE IS THE FATHER of CREATION!!!
