Hail the dawn,Yesterday is gone;
Though, some things of it, remain,
We have the chance to work through them, again!
Today is a gift from THE LORD on HIGH,
An opportunity, to reach for the sky;
A time to renew, restore, and, make things right,
Ah, what prospects come, with the daylight!
More time doesn't come to us, but, by something of a miracle; and, it should be embraced as something to revere,
Granting us the occasion, to, the woes of yesterday, severe,
With refreshed mentality,
That, we, carry on, FAITHFULLY,
Trusting that *GOD*, our FATHER, has great things in store,
And, will BLESS us, more, and, more!
Thankfully, I approach each 24 hour period, with gratitude,
As, HE IS the gist of my attitude!
HE did not have to give me this second, moment, or, hour,
Yet, HE did, thus, it lies within my power,
To make something of it; to do what I can do,
Promoting HIM, who is the ONLY existence, which, is TRUE;
By aiding my Fellow Being, by being as good, as, I can be,
That I am adding to HIS GLORY!
PRAISE YOU, *GOD*, I appreciate the sight of, the rising sun,
It gives me HOPE, to know I am part, of another one;
HOPE that I aim to spread, in the unfolding of this day,
So that, all bear witness, to YOUR RIGHTEOUS way!
Help me to help myself, that, I help others, too,
Open up my being, that YOUR LOVE is shining through!
Let me pay forward, the awesomeness, that YOU have bestowed, upon me,
When, YOU opened my eyes this morning; which, I receive, most happily!
I pray that YOUR wonder, passes readily, through my actions, reactions, and, my every thought, into the world,
To aid in healing it, to providing for it, for encouraging it, against, what deception has, to it, hurled!
Keep me focused in the NOW, not, the past, or, tomorrow, for today, is purposeful, and, it's own season,
Show me how, to live within the majesty, of improving the spirit to perfection, and, of grasping onto, YOUR, sound reason!
Hail the dawn, it IS the gift of *GOD* ABOVE,
Whom, has chosen, that we obtain the GRACES of HIS LOVE!!!
