If ever there was a country who, needed, desperately, to pray,It is America, this day!
The time to humble, and, bow down, has arrived,
Hours of the days, are NOT, on our side!
Cause, and, effect, of faithlessness, ARE starting to show,
Drought is settling in the heartland, where our food does grow!
Water is evaporating, some rivers have turned to sledge,
Our economy, way of life, and, our bounties, stand wavering, on the edge,
Of catastrophe,
People, please, listen to me!!!
Our FATHER, who art in Heaven, has been tolerant, and, patient, for a very long while, now,
We have become overly assured, somehow,
Believing that we are exempt from HIS fury,
But, I tell you, take a look at the signs, and, worry!
HE has said, and, it is TRUE,
"Return to ME, your *GOD*, and, I will return to you!",
Just bow down your head,
And, no more, be misled...
Our borders are full of all sorts of indications, that it is time to, before *GOD*, fall prone,
For, there is only hope, in HIM, alone!
We have allowed our standards, to bend, under the strain,
Shutting off logic, from the brain!
Standards, that, on DIVINE Wisdom, were founded,
Which, surely, WERE the ways, on which, this country was grounded;
But, we have allowed politics, greed, and, other negatives, to become the norm,
As, around us, the consequences, do form...
There is ALWAYS promise in the WILL of our LORD,
Such is the premise of HIS WORD!
It is only too late, when, complacency, vacuums up chance,
When, we remain arrogant, and, proud, in our stance!
Thus, I appeal to you, as one nation,
Turn to *GOD*, let there be, cessation,
Of HIS warning hand,
Upon the greatness of this land!!!
