I can do NOTHING without *GOD*! This is THE truth! HE, alone, has GIVEN me life, has CREATED the world, the Heavens, the Universe, and, ALL of existence! HE, solely, has the power to GIVE life, and, to determine it's length! HE, alone, IS ALL there is!!!The facts above SHOULD be our conviction, for they ARE truth! Such facts SHOULD rule our minds, for this is where humility derives from! Yet, SO many are not well receiving of the idea that *GOD*, alone, holds ALL power, as their egocentric self, veiled by deception, leads them to believe in their own power, OVER HIS power! This is the fall of mankind! *GOD* demands humbleness, that we DO realize from whence ALL things come!!!
1 PETER 5:5-7...
5/ Likewise, you younger members, be subject to the presbyters. And all of you, clothe yourselves with humility in your dealings with one another, for: "God opposes the proud but bestows favor on the humble."
6/ So humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time.
7/ Cast all your worries upon him because he cares for you.
The above verses are just one example of many, which speak volumes about humility/humbleness; we ARE to live in FAITHFUL REGARD that *GOD*, ALONE, HOLDS ALL POWER over our lives, and, life itself, that HE IS GLORIFIED, and, EXALTED, for all opposition to bear witness to, but mostly, because it IS FACT!!!
*GOD* led Israel through the desert/wilderness for 40 years, to HUMBLE them, for they were a HAUGHTY generation, THOUGH, they WERE HIS CHOSEN! Personally, I would say, ON AVERAGE, it would take a person, roughly, 40 years to 'GET' this message, because our youth is so wasted on the exploration of the fascinations of the world, and, OFTEN, humility comes AFTER facing disappointment, wickedness, and, all the other negatives have been experienced! In other words, ONLY AFTER we have seen the evil of the world, from within, to without, can we begin to sense that something GREATER, *GOD*, IS THE SOURCE of ALL we seek! It is called growth, and, through that growth, the spirit is awakened to a more mature plane, which then, inspires us to realizing that WE ARE NOTHING without *GOD*! This isn't true of ALL people, but, those who are called to *GOD*, DO go through an awakening, sometime in their lives, some earlier than others, but, WILL come INTO humility, and, fear, and, TRUE LOVE of *GOD*!!!
I was led through hell, and, back, even though I WAS aware that *GOD* held the reins of my life, HE made sure that I was put through ALL of the tests of life, that my CONVICTION of HIS powers IS ROCK SOLID! I was led here, and, there, through this, and, that, knocked around, facing death, trouble on all sides, problems unrelenting, and, FINALLY, HE decided that I WAS now grown enough to become HIS slave, HIS servant, which, WAS quite right, in timing, and, in being! AMAZING is our *GOD*!!!

Indeed, life IS a long lesson in humility, and, in compliance to TRUTH! *GOD* IS ALL, and, EVERYTHING, and, HIS WORD IS HIM, thus, ALL we need to know, learn, and, become IS THROUGH HIM, which IS evident IN ALL, and, EVERYTHING in our lives, INCLUDING the period of being fired in the refiners furnace! HE will take you to the pits to raise you up, all to GLORIFY HIS name, and, to perfect HIS Chosen!!!

IF I have learned anything imperative, it is that I KNOW that the EGOCENTRIC SELF IS the center for evil, sin, and, transgression, while the body, tongue, and, heart, follow suit TO the extent that we have ALLOWED our egocentric self to rule, OVER THE REALITY OF *GOD*! It is SO easy to see, but, not so easy to correct, as is seen in the struggles of even the most sincerely devout! Thus, we NEED to become as HUMBLE as the dirt of the Earth, IN ORDER FOR *GOD* TO AID US IN OUR PLIGHT AGAINST SELF, which IS, the principalities, authorities, and, elements which HE battles endlessly, until that day of reckoning!!! AMEN!!!
