Yesterday was a long one, I put in 10 hours to care for an elderly person, which included taking them to a HOLY DAY Mass at 6:30 p. m., after being there since 10:30 a. m.. I am not Catholic, but, did enjoy the Mass, in my own way! I am quite deaf, thus, I could not hear anything that was going on, but, I communed with the LORD, our *GOD*, and then, found a book to read, which was placed with their hymn books. This book was also hymns, but, included prayers, and, other such, which I found interesting, and, appealed to most religious beliefs! As I was doing Church in my own fashion, this came to me: To labor in a state of unconditional, selfless LOVE for another, IS walking in the example of JESUS, and, no matter HOW tired you might be, you, somehow, ARE elevated enough to make it through, TO the best of your ability, as, in doing such, you are empowered by *GOD* above!!!
The person I took to Mass, may not attend many more in their time, and, their family was simply, too busy to take them, and, it was very important to them, that they get to this Mass, so, it WAS my pleasure to accommodate them, even after spending a full day caring for them, in various ways! I am NOT trying, in any way, to UPLIFT my efforts, I am making a point, which IS; IT IS NOT ABOUT SELF, instead, ABOUT LOVE for *GOD*, and, for OTHERS! In living in this state of existence, there comes a PEACE, STRENGTH, COURAGE, and, other POSITIVES which carry over into other areas of our lives!!!
Even in SUFFERING, CHRIST JESUS ENDURED out of LOVE for us! Long before HE was taken into custody, and, harmed, then, nailed to that cross, HE ENDURED LONG hours, and, endless accommodations to those who sought HIM, HIS BLESSINGS, HIS teachings, and, HIS PRESENCE! HE would seek to rest, and, the people would find HIM! HE did NOT send them away until HE had accommodated their needs! HE NEVER stopped GIVING, it was HIS PLEASURE to give to others, for LOVE was HIS driving force, HIS second wind when HE was exhausted, and, HIS forward thrust, all that LOVE might be exemplified, and, demonstrated by action!!!
Ah, what a *GOD* is our *GOD*, whom came into the flesh, the SON, and, to insert the HOLY SPIRIT into the beings of the believers, ALL THAT HIS LOVE come to LIFE, and, be set as an example for us, BECAUSE, we have NEVER understood, nor, embraced, nor, utilized the gist of LOVE as it is from HIM, since the moment of HIS existence, throughout eternity!!!
In the celebrations of this HOLY Season, may you consider the FULL breadth of LOVE, not from a human level, but, from the HOLINESS in which it is premised, and then, may you attempt to walk in that LOVE as HE would have it, that HIS LOVE IS GLORIFIED, exemplified, demonstrated, expounded, and, expanded throughout humanity! Remember, IF we ARE of CHRIST, we ARE to take up HIS yoke, LOVE, and, carry that, ungrudgingly, for the rest of our days, that OTHERS also, EXPERIENCE HIS LOVE WHILE IN THE FLESH!!!
As the Angels of *GOD* ministered to CHRIST JESUS, *GOD* HIMSELF, and, HIS Angels will minister to you for all your efforts in LOVE!!!
PRAISING THE FATHER, THE SON, and, THE HOLY SPIRIT, for the LOVE which flows as naturally as does the waters, the air, and, the Earth! ALL GLORY be unto *GOD*, for HE is PERFECTION personified, and, endless in HIS gifts of LOVE!!! AMEN!!!
