I DO humbly, acknowledge, and accept that I NEEDED HIM to notice THE LIGHT in the darkness, and oh, the darkness was enveloping me! I have no qualms with admitting my weakened state in the flesh, and having sensed that there IS MORE within me, which the darkness shrouded, and tried to deny, I AM THANKFUL FOR THE LORD *GOD* rescuing me, and leading me to the reality of my TRUTH, the spiritual being! Without HIM in my existence, for real, was to be constantly endangered forever, and to be further enticed by the falsehoods, and binds of the world! So yah, I WILL PRAISE HIM, in SPIRIT, and IN TRUTH, for I HAVE been SAVED BY HIS MIGHT, FOR HIS GLORY, and for eternal benevolence!!!
NOTHING in this realm is more imperative, pertinent, or crucial than seeking, and finding THE LORD, our SAVIOUR! And yah, we NEED a SAVIOUR, as has the whole of Mankind, since the beginning to the very end, for we are NOT complete without HIM, and CANNOT manage this world alone, as HIS enemy, our enemy intends to take us down with him, to suffer always! The body is temporal, and ever wasting away, whereas the soul IS eternal, and IS optimized THROUGH THE LORD *GOD* ALMIGHTY, and IS OUR TRUTH!!!
PRAISE, oh PRAISE THE LORD ALWAYS! WORSHIP HIS HOLINESS! REJOICE THAT HE LOVES us enough to GIVE us LIFE, through HIS SON, CHRIST JESUS, our SAVIOUR! HONOUR HIM in all ways, all your days! BE GRATEFUL, for without HIM, there is nothing, and no HOPE, now, and forever! SHINE OF HIM that others NOTICE HIM, and SEE HIM through you! HALLELUJAH, PRAISE THE LORD *GOD* ALMIGHTY, AMEN!!!
ISAIAH 60: 1-3...
1+++“Arise, shine; for your light has come,
And the glory of the LORD has risen upon you.
2+++“For behold, darkness will cover the earth
And deep darkness the peoples;
But the LORD will rise upon you
And His glory will appear upon you.
3+++“Nations will come to your light,
And kings to the brightness of your rising.
As far as we have the knowledge of God in us, and the favour of God towards us, our light is come. And if God's glory is seen upon us to our honour, we ought, not only with our lips, but in our lives, to return its praise. We meet with nothing in the history of the Jews which can be deemed a fulfillment of the prophecy in this chapter; we must conclude it relates principally to future events. It predicts the purity and enlargement of the church. The conversion of souls is here described. They fly to Christ, to the church, to the word and ordinances, as doves to their own home; thither they fly for refuge and shelter, thither they fly for rest. What a pleasant sight to see poor souls hastening to Christ!
MATTHEW 4: 16...
the people living in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of the shadow of death, a light has dawned.”
It is just with God to take the gospel and the means of grace, from those that slight them and thrust them away. Christ will not stay long where he is not welcome. Those who are without Christ, are in the dark. They were sitting in this condition, a contented posture; they chose it rather than light; they were willingly ignorant. When the gospel comes, light comes; when it comes to any place, when it comes to any soul, it makes day there. Light discovers and directs; so does the gospel. The doctrine of repentance is right gospel doctrine. Not only the austere John Baptist, but the gracious Jesus, preached repentance. There is still the same reason to do so. The kingdom of heaven was not reckoned to be fully come, till the pouring out of the Holy Spirit after Christ's ascension.
ISAIAH 61: 10-11...
10I will rejoice greatly in the LORD,
my soul will exult in my God;
for He has clothed me with garments of salvation
and wrapped me in a robe of righteousness,
as a groom wears a priestly headdress,
and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.
11For as the earth brings forth its growth,
and as a garden enables seed to spring up,
so the Lord GOD will cause righteousness and praise
to spring up before all the nations.
Those only shall be clothed with the garments of salvation hereafter, that are covered with the robe of Christ's righteousness now, and by the sanctification of the Spirit have God's image renewed upon them. These blessings shall spring forth for ages to come, as the fruits of the earth. So duly, so constantly, and with such advantage to mankind, will the Lord God cause righteousness and praise to spring forth. They shall spread far; the great salvation shall be published and proclaimed, to the ends of the earth. Let us be earnest in prayer, that the Lord God may cause that righteousness to spring forth among us, which constitutes the excellence and glory of the Christian profession.
