THAT YOU WON'T FALL...

*GOD* has not promised to keep us from falling, if we do not look to ourselves---

You see, many imagine they are absolutely safe in CHRIST JESUS, regardless that they continue on in the same old ways, and add to those by being drawn in by the world, and it's errs; in other words, such people believe they can think, say, or do anything without adhering TO THE LORD, and HIS WILL, just as did the ancients...

We HAVE numerous examples left FOR our sake, and greater ease of understanding about WHAT pleases, or angers THE LORD *GOD*, as well as the consequences, good or not, however, a great many disregard the fullness of lessons which exist FOR their sake, and go right on in ways which WILL endanger, and entrap them, and ultimately prove their stance...

ALL instruction IS useful for teaching, rebuking, correction, and training in righteousness (2 TIMOTHY 3: 16)! It IS *GOD* BREATHED FOR our sake, and of course, FOR HIS GLORY! It's NOT a bunch of words, or futile attempts to cause humans to think; THE BIBLE exists FOR safety, for provision, for wisdom, for knowledge, for understanding, for the ability, and capacity TO make it through this valley INTO THE KINGDOM, BECAUSE that IS where we BELONG, AS our souls DO BELONG TO *GOD*, and HE WILLS that ALL return to HIM, after the testing, and trials of this realm!!!

Those who would learn the things of God, and be assured of them, must know the Holy Scriptures, for they are the Divine revelation. The age of children is the age to learn; and those who would get true learning, must get it out of the Scriptures. They must not lie by us neglected, seldom or never looked into. The Bible is a sure guide to eternal life. 

The prophets and apostles did not speak from themselves, but delivered what they received of God, 2Pe 1:21. It is profitable for all purposes of the Christian life. It is of use to all, for all need to be taught, corrected, and reproved. There is something in the Scriptures suitable for every case. Oh that we may love our Bibles more, and keep closer to them! then shall we find benefit, and at last gain the happiness therein promised by faith in our Lord Jesus Christ, who is the main subject of both Testaments. We best oppose error by promoting a solid knowledge of the word of truth; and the greatest kindness we can do to children, is to make them early to know the Bible.

1 CORINTHIANS 10: 6-13...
6+++Now these things happened as examples for us, so that we would not crave evil things as they also craved.
7+++Do not be idolaters, as some of them were; as it is written, “THE PEOPLE SAT DOWN TO EAT AND DRINK, AND STOOD UP TO PLAY.”
8+++Nor let us act immorally, as some of them did, and twenty-three thousand fell in one day.
9+++Nor let us try the Lord, as some of them did, and were destroyed by the serpents.
10+++Nor grumble, as some of them did, and were destroyed by the destroyer.
11+++Now these things happened to them as an example, and they were written for our instruction, upon whom the ends of the ages have come.
12+++Therefore let him who thinks he stands take heed that he does not fall.
13+++No temptation has overtaken you but such as is common to man; and God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will provide the way of escape also, so that you will be able to endure it.

Carnal desires gain strength by indulgence, therefore should be checked in their first rise. Let us fear the sins of Israel, if we would shun their plagues. And it is but just to fear, that such as tempt Christ, will be left by him in the power of the old serpent. Murmuring against God's disposals and commands, greatly provokes him.

Nothing in Scripture is written in vain; and it is our wisdom and duty to learn from it. Others have fallen, and so may we. The Christian's security against sin is distrust of himself. God has not promised to keep us from falling, if we do not look to ourselves.  

To this word of caution, a word of comfort is added. Others have the like burdens, and the like temptations: what they bear up under, and break through, we may also. God is wise as well as faithful, and will make our burdens according to our strength. He knows what we can bear. He will make a way to escape; he will deliver either from the trial itself, or at least the mischief of it. We have full encouragement to flee from sin, and to be faithful to God. We cannot fall by temptation, if we cleave fast to him. Whether the world smiles or frowns, it is an enemy; but believers shall be strengthened to overcome it, with all its terrors and enticements. The fear of the Lord, put into their hearts, will be the great means of safety.

THE LORD *GOD* ALMIGHTY IS SOVEREIGN, WISE, and ABLE; HIS WORDS SHALL NOT come back to HIM empty, and HIS WILL SHALL NOT FAIL; and all who LOVE HIM, and REGARD HIM WILL spend eternity WITH HIM, IN BLESSED BLISS, and TOTAL PEACE!!!

Right this moment, the world IS prepping believers to fall, as they ARE SO wrapped up in the ways of the world, thinking carnally INSTEAD of IN THE SPIRIT! There are SO many whom HAVE been swept up into the falsehoods, and enticements, THAT they ARE close to being, forever, shackled to the world...

We must NEVER imagine anything, we MUST KNOW THE TRUTH, and NOT let it be far from us at any second in time! We HAVE to KEEP ourselves rooted IN THE LORD, HIS WILL, and HIS WORD, for ONLY IN HIM SHALL we conquer the world which intends to take us down! Let us PRAISE, WORSHIP, REJOICE, and HONOUR THE LORD *GOD*, and let us PRAY, PRAY, PRAY, study, learn, embrace, and utilize HIS instructions FOR LIFE!!!
