Besides our relationship with THE LORD, and the Families we are born into, the most significant relationship we can have is with the one who steals our heart, and breath!!!
Now, Friendship's are just about the easiest relationships to maintain, and those which pretty much last! In such a relationship there are bonds but not often are there strings to pull, if you know what I mean! Friendships are FULL of respect, regard, genuine care, and acceptance for one another! Friendships just kind of flow without too much pressure, which depends on the people involved! There are awful Friendships too, but for the most part, they are healthy...
When the one you spend your time with is your Friend foremost, you CAN withstand the various phases you will go through, because if you are Friends, when all else is changing, there will yet be a foundation BUILT on mutual respect, regard, and care, which WILL help each to grow during whatever!!!
In intimate relationships, as the fires turn to embers, as responsibilities take up too much time, as emotions reach a different, less verbal level, as many things are changed by the years, Friendship WILL be the anchor! It will allow trust, and comfort to accompany through the rough spots, the doubts, the fears, and THEN it WILL REKINDLE a new, improved, and oh so much greater fire than you ever thought possible!!!
LOVE between a Man, and a Woman begins on a particular note, then crescendos, then it takes on various aspects, such as rhythm, harmony, form, melody, timbre, and more, as it reaches highs, and lows, is loud and soft, is rich then sheer, and so on, and when emotions are premised upon the wrong bar, it can get distorted, and ruin the whole composition; thus Friendship, which like a conductor, brings unity, tempo, and more, as the composition is shaped to perfection! We begin our relationship relying on external's, and bring it through, unified by an internal melding, which is PURE Friendship, and DOES bring, more than once, NEW heights, and an accorded progression leading to even more!!!
We ALL know that many people treat their Friends better than their Families, or Spouses, and so, it IS obvious that Friendship MUST be that which we build, and sustain our bulk of relationships upon! At least, after all my years, that is what I have experienced, and have learned, and IS how it works for my people, and me!!!
February is almost past, but the season of LOVE LIVES FOREVER, as it IS OF *GOD*, and HE HAS taught us, and GIVEN us, ALL we NEED TO exist in healthy, thriving, and enriching relationships! PRAISE HIM ALWAYS, AMEN!!!
