HEAVENLY INCLINED...: MONDAY: THE MIGHT OF MENTALITY...

Thanksgiving for the LORD's Favor

Psalms 138 (A Psalm of David)
1/ I will praise thee with my whole heart: before the gods will I sing praise unto thee.
2/ I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy loving-kindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.
3/ In the day when I cried thou answeredst me, and strengthenedst me with strength in my soul.
4/ All the kings of the earth shall praise thee, O LORD, when they hear the words of thy mouth.
5/ Yea, they shall sing in the ways of the LORD: for great is the glory of the LORD.
6/ Though the LORD be high, yet hath he respect unto the lowly: but the proud he knoweth afar off.
7/ Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me: thou shalt stretch forth thine hand against the wrath of mine enemies, and thy right hand shall save me.
8/ The LORD will perfect that which concerneth me:
thy mercy, O LORD, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands... AMEN!!!

One CANNOT earn GRACE, it is HIS own ESSENCE; a gift, still, IF one claims to be IN HIS GRACE, we ARE to, or, OUGHT to, be reflections of that GRACE! 2 CORINTHIANS 6:1, tells us not to take HIS GRACE in vain! This means, living in LOVE, morality, ethics, virtue, righteousness, and, spiritual improvement, TOWARDS, spiritual maturity, WHILE, visibly BEING as LIGHTS, beaming OF *GOD*, beckoning the world, TO THE LIGHT! Righteousness MEANS, conduct in conformity with *GOD'S* WILL, and, "Be HOLY because I AM HOLY!", therefore, indicating that knowledge, wisdom, and, effort, DO, apply TO the righteous!!! NEVER forget, we were grafted in, and, if we do not bear fruit, as a dead branch, we will be pruned out, just as were, the natural branches!!!

We are not saved by works, instead, works PROVE HIM in us: they identify HIS own...

IF I claim ONENESS with *GOD*, through CHRIST JESUS, I am DEAD TO THE WORLD, THUS, LIVING as HIM, which is, hopefully, witnessed IN, and, THROUGH, my every thought, action, and, reaction; MEANING, I am, THROUGH CONSCIOUS application OF THE WORD, HIS COMMANDS, HIS WILL, REFLECTING righteousness, not, merely, FAITH! I become, the TRULY FRUITFUL branch, of THE VINE, the TRUE member of THE BODY/THE CHURCH, CHRIST JESUS, and, TESTIFY, then, GLORIFY, BOLDLY, BY my thoughts, actions, and, reactions, HIS name, because, HE IS WORTHY, and, IN HIS LOVE, has SHOWN me, how I OUGHT to exist, to which, I eagerly, adapt, and, comply!!!

MATTHEW 5:48...
So be perfect, just as your heavenly Father is perfect

1 PETER 1:14-16...
14/ Like obedient children, do not act in compliance with the desires of your former ignorance
15/ but, as he who called you is holy, be holy yourselves in every aspect of your conduct,
16/ for it is written, "Be holy because I (am) holy."

ROMANS 12:2...
Do not conform yourselves to this age but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and pleasing and perfect.

Conduct, in conformity to *GOD'S* WILL, marks the righteous; it is NOT because of guilt, or, ancient Laws, but, because of LOVE; LOVE for *GOD*, self, then, others! CHRIST JESUS gave us Commandments to live by, of which, the first is to LOVE *GOD*, with all of your mind, heart, and, soul; the second is, to LOVE one another!

LOVE COMPELS us to LIVE IN HIM, through conduct which conforms to *GOD*; in other words, morality, ethics, doing good, and, being good, and, ever striving to improve the spirit! It is about REFLECTING THE TRUTH, for ALL to bear witness to, FOR, and, TO HIS GLORY, RADIANTLY SHINING OF HIS POWER, GRACE, and, MERCIES!!!

It IS ALL ABOUT LOVE, baby, all about LOVE!!!

MATTHEW 4: 17...From that time on, Jesus began to preach and say, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand."

JOHN 14:15..."If you love me, you will keep my commandments.

NOTE: I do not intend to preach, rather to reach; to stir up, awaken, to inspire, and, bring forth, in discussion, that which is, perhaps, dormantly existing in the heart of hearts, thus, little, or, no, sugar coatings, just THE WORD of *GOD*, the TRUTH, along with some of my thoughts. And truth is, I am reminding myself always, as I practice these reminders, in the best of my abilities, and capacities, while RELYING on THE LORD to lead me on that narrow PATH---> MATTHEW 7: 14: "For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it... TO *GOD* BE ALL GLORY...

MONDAY: THE MIGHT OF MENTALITY...

*GOD* GAVE us this new week, and this new day, Monday; let us give THANKS, and PRAISE HIM---

Monday is a day when many drag, and brood,
Upon awakening, there is tension in the mood,
Which blocks the sight to see what is good,
And so, from the onset of this *GOD* GIVEN day, there is need to adjust the attitude...lw'16

Yah, Monday's ARE difficult for a great many people, especially in the Winter time, but know what?, it is still a day to REJOICE, and be GLAD in! It is still a day to let gratitude BE the LIGHT of our attitude! It is still a day to do something new, make something better, and come closer to THE LORD!!!

NOTHING in this world is EVER going to be perfect; ONLY *GOD* IS, therefore, we NEED to keep it real, and put things in proper perspective! Money, fame, fortune, and all which one might dream of obtaining, is NOT where TRUE happiness is found, and while they MAY provide at least SOME, it is fleeting, and soon, NOT enough! Thus, it is WISE to secure the being from the spirit outward, THAT no matter what comes by way of this world, and time, there IS ALWAYS something to work with! People rise, and they fall; they gain, and they lose; they realize dreams, then after some time, these are not enough, and so, having a balanced, healthy being provides greatly!!!

People race, and rage through the days thinking, and imagining that they HAVE to accomplish more than necessary, often more than they, wholly, are capable of! Much time IS wasted in pursuit, which leads to being drained, disappointed, dissatisfied, and much more! The world has taught us that pursuit produces, and it does, to some extent, but it is rather superficial at the same time, leaving us feeling emptied at times! Pursuit NEEDS to be tailored to providing for the spirit, the heart, the mind, and premised on THE LORD, THAT IF we don't get everything we want, we ARE able to move on WHILE retaining comfort, PEACE, and even JOY!!!

THINGS don't provide for the being for the long haul; as they lose their luster after acquiring them, in time! We are ALWAYS wanting more, more, and more, and LOTS of what we have acquired becomes as second hand, taking up space, and lacking the previous magnetism we were inspired by in obtaining them! It is a GREAT lesson to learn that tangibles are NOT all they might seem, and that we DON'T need as much of them to be content as we THINK we do!!!

What we TRULY need is to find a point of PURE comfort IN the being, and to RELY ON *GOD* for everything else! ONLY HE can provide in ways which enhance, and stabilize our over-all well-being! AND HE, ALONE, KNOWS where HE wants us to be, and what we might need to get there! We are NOT so self-reliant as we have been raised to believe...

IF we spend more time on pursuit of the things of the world, are we NOT denying THE LORD? WHEN we RELY ON HIM, HE PROVIDES, ACCORDING TO HIS WILL for us! Alas, we are wrapped up in the falsehoods, and lies of the world which tells us that we CAN have it all, and that IF we pursue long enough, we WILL gain exceedingly!!!

As is written, "For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul? (MATTHEW 16: 26)!

If all worldly things are worthless when compared with the life of the body, how forcible the same argument with respect to the soul and its state of never-ending happiness or misery! Thousands lose their souls for the most trifling gain, or the most worthless indulgence, nay, often from mere sloth and negligence. Whatever is the object for which men forsake Christ, that is the price at which Satan buys their souls. Yet one soul is worth more than all the world.

This is Christ's judgment upon the matter; he knew the price of souls, for he redeemed them; nor would he underrate the world, for he made it. The dying transgressor cannot purchase one hour's respite to seek mercy for his perishing soul. Let us then learn rightly to value our souls, and Christ as the only Saviour of them...

Right-minded thinking BEGINS, and ENDS IN THE LORD *GOD*; HE WHOM IS our LORD, KING, CREATOR, AUTHOR, and FINISHER of our existence! There is NO break in the action; there is NO half-stepping; there is NO putting HIM off for part of the time, and seeking HIM some of the time!!!

The world is NOT ours, it BELONGS TO THE LORD, and ALL in it, and therefore, if we long for ANY thing, we ought to ASK HIM, but it HAS to be IN FAITH, and FAITHFULLY motivated! We exist TO SERVE HIM, to serve others, to PRAISE HIM, EXALT HIM, EXULT HIM, EXTOL HIM, WORSHIP HIM, HONOUR HIM, BLESS HIM, REJOICE IN HIM, and BE THANKFULLY CONTENT IN HIM, FOR HE ALONE, IS our HOPE, SAVIOUR, *GOD*, and PORTION!!!

HE IS THE CENTER, AND THE SOURCE OF ALL IN CREATION, THEREFORE, HE IS HE WHOM WE RELY ON for EVERYTHING, tangible, or intangible! HE IS NOT a genie, or any magical creature, HE IS THE LORD *GOD* ALMIGHTY, FATHER of CREATION, whose POWERS ARE INFINITE, and PRODUCTIVE! LET HIM BE the foundation of this day, and always, and notice along THE WAY HOW much sweeter time is!!!

OPEN UP this day TO THE LORD, and allow HIS HOLY SPIRIT TO guide, lead, protect, teach, empower, and enrich your time in this realm, it IS the most practical, and sensible means to a perfect end!!!
