Sadly, his legacy, while being celebrated, has been defiled, as there is more unrest today than can be expressed! Rights for some, but not for all, AND MOST ARE sensing, if not feeling the far reaching, and hostile effects of a world segregated by fires of prejudice, bias, and pure ignorance! People are acting foolishly, violently, aggressively, often without thinking things through, or listening to the voices of reason, as pride, arrogance, and other negatively induced, and passed down behaviours get the best of societies everywhere!!!
HOW can we have civil, or social justice, let alone unity when everyone is prone to uncivil behaviours? HOW can there be unity when people are seeking to separate themselves from others? HOW can problems be solved when attitudes premised on lack of understanding, hatred, antagonism, resistance, and worse rule the emotions, thus the minds of the masses???
President Abraham Lincoln also fought for justice for all people, and like MLK had a dream of integration of ALL people in this country! MLK founded his beliefs, and works on CHRIST JESUS; THE GOSPEL, and was elevated in his pursuits of bringing together the people of this *GOD* founded country, but alas, his noble dreams, and works have been trampled beneath the weight of the very conduct which he fought to diminish, and had HOPES to eradicate once and for all!!!
Mere Children are fanning the flames of hatred, as they are taught negatively at home, as well as by MANY other leaders, including those of the Church, whom are also, contributing to their lack of knowledge, and understanding, THROUGH their own lack of control, and non embracing of the goodness of that which PROMOTES LOVE, PEACE, and UNITY! It is a shame, and it IS increasing all the while as people MISUSE not only ideals, but lessons, from inspired people such as MLK, all the way through to THE WORD of *GOD*!!!
The master of oppression, the enemy of *GOD* and people, IS behind all the woes of this world, as people bite INTO the lies, falsehoods, and other ploys he uses to keep us FROM THE TRUTH! IN this oppressive state, we take ON what is wrong, what is evil, what is perilous TO us; we ABANDON SENSE, and SENSIBILITY for the mistaken powers of this world! We WALLOW in the negatives, but have GREAT difficulty grasping onto the POSITIVES, and what is right, just, and good! The TRUTH of our existence in this world IS shown by what we adapt to, what we do or don't do, and overall, our CHOICES! YES, we HAVE the choice to know, understand, embrace, and utilize what IS RIGHT, JUST, and GOOD, and to exist IN the BEAUTY OF HOPE, LOVE, PEACE, and RIGHTEOUSNESS!!!
ARE we REALLY celebrating MLK today? It is NOT a matter of remembering him, it IS a matter of BEING the kind of person which honours him! It is a matter of USING the ideals he left IN a POSITIVELY motivated, thus effective way, FOR the good of not SOME people, but ALL people, exactly as THE LORD *GOD* HAS WILLED, and DECREED, and DID elevate MLK TO rouse the masses with!!!
People, we NEED to DO some SOUL searching in this time; for time IS fleeting, and we ARE existing in a world full of what IS against *GOD*, and HIS WILL! We MUST TAKE from encouraging people such as MLK, TO THE HEART, the wisdom, logic, and understanding which he engaged us in, and left for us to build from; after all, EVERYTHING he stood for WAS DECREED BY *GOD*, and THEREFORE, DOES work to bring us INTO ONENESS IN HIS NAME!!!
