HEAVENLY INCLINED...: FORSAKE NOT THE LORD *GOD*...

Thanksgiving for the LORD's Favor

Psalms 138 (A Psalm of David)
1/ I will praise thee with my whole heart: before the gods will I sing praise unto thee.
2/ I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy loving-kindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.
3/ In the day when I cried thou answeredst me, and strengthenedst me with strength in my soul.
4/ All the kings of the earth shall praise thee, O LORD, when they hear the words of thy mouth.
5/ Yea, they shall sing in the ways of the LORD: for great is the glory of the LORD.
6/ Though the LORD be high, yet hath he respect unto the lowly: but the proud he knoweth afar off.
7/ Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me: thou shalt stretch forth thine hand against the wrath of mine enemies, and thy right hand shall save me.
8/ The LORD will perfect that which concerneth me:
thy mercy, O LORD, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands... AMEN!!!

One CANNOT earn GRACE, it is HIS own ESSENCE; a gift, still, IF one claims to be IN HIS GRACE, we ARE to, or, OUGHT to, be reflections of that GRACE! 2 CORINTHIANS 6:1, tells us not to take HIS GRACE in vain! This means, living in LOVE, morality, ethics, virtue, righteousness, and, spiritual improvement, TOWARDS, spiritual maturity, WHILE, visibly BEING as LIGHTS, beaming OF *GOD*, beckoning the world, TO THE LIGHT! Righteousness MEANS, conduct in conformity with *GOD'S* WILL, and, "Be HOLY because I AM HOLY!", therefore, indicating that knowledge, wisdom, and, effort, DO, apply TO the righteous!!! NEVER forget, we were grafted in, and, if we do not bear fruit, as a dead branch, we will be pruned out, just as were, the natural branches!!!

We are not saved by works, instead, works PROVE HIM in us: they identify HIS own...

IF I claim ONENESS with *GOD*, through CHRIST JESUS, I am DEAD TO THE WORLD, THUS, LIVING as HIM, which is, hopefully, witnessed IN, and, THROUGH, my every thought, action, and, reaction; MEANING, I am, THROUGH CONSCIOUS application OF THE WORD, HIS COMMANDS, HIS WILL, REFLECTING righteousness, not, merely, FAITH! I become, the TRULY FRUITFUL branch, of THE VINE, the TRUE member of THE BODY/THE CHURCH, CHRIST JESUS, and, TESTIFY, then, GLORIFY, BOLDLY, BY my thoughts, actions, and, reactions, HIS name, because, HE IS WORTHY, and, IN HIS LOVE, has SHOWN me, how I OUGHT to exist, to which, I eagerly, adapt, and, comply!!!

MATTHEW 5:48...
So be perfect, just as your heavenly Father is perfect

1 PETER 1:14-16...
14/ Like obedient children, do not act in compliance with the desires of your former ignorance
15/ but, as he who called you is holy, be holy yourselves in every aspect of your conduct,
16/ for it is written, "Be holy because I (am) holy."

ROMANS 12:2...
Do not conform yourselves to this age but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and pleasing and perfect.

Conduct, in conformity to *GOD'S* WILL, marks the righteous; it is NOT because of guilt, or, ancient Laws, but, because of LOVE; LOVE for *GOD*, self, then, others! CHRIST JESUS gave us Commandments to live by, of which, the first is to LOVE *GOD*, with all of your mind, heart, and, soul; the second is, to LOVE one another!

LOVE COMPELS us to LIVE IN HIM, through conduct which conforms to *GOD*; in other words, morality, ethics, doing good, and, being good, and, ever striving to improve the spirit! It is about REFLECTING THE TRUTH, for ALL to bear witness to, FOR, and, TO HIS GLORY, RADIANTLY SHINING OF HIS POWER, GRACE, and, MERCIES!!!

It IS ALL ABOUT LOVE, baby, all about LOVE!!!

MATTHEW 4: 17...From that time on, Jesus began to preach and say, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand."

JOHN 14:15..."If you love me, you will keep my commandments.

NOTE: I do not intend to preach, rather to reach; to stir up, awaken, to inspire, and, bring forth, in discussion, that which is, perhaps, dormantly existing in the heart of hearts, thus, little, or, no, sugar coatings, just THE WORD of *GOD*, the TRUTH, along with some of my thoughts. And truth is, I am reminding myself always, as I practice these reminders, in the best of my abilities, and capacities, while RELYING on THE LORD to lead me on that narrow PATH---> MATTHEW 7: 14: "For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it... TO *GOD* BE ALL GLORY...

FORSAKE NOT THE LORD GOD...

People sense lies, falsehoods, and other untruths throughout their existence in this time, in this world, which then sees more than a few---
turning FROM *GOD* instead of TO HIM, as they are USED to what is of the world, are comfortable for the most part in it, and just HAVE to place blame somewhere, so they put it all on THE LORD *GOD* ALMIGHTY, despite HIS HIGH, and HOLY WAYS!!!

Some of the reasons are ludicrous, some have a semblance of logic, some are self-motivated, some are due to faulty teaching, thus faulty understanding, some are misled by those who have an agenda to remove as many as they can from TRUTH, and on the list goes...

More than a few people have recently renounced their FAITH, and I have to say this; they are believing the world OVER *GOD*, straight no chaser! The world HAS lied to them, and they HAVE believed the lies, ALLOWING the falsehoods to ensnare them...

Recently a well known person renounced THE BIBLE, and had a LOT to say about THE LORD concerning THE OLD TESTAMENT. It breaks my heart that one more person has chosen to forsake *GOD* because of misconception, and lack of perception, AND it IS becoming more common place as NON-believers spew their opinions so vehemently; it IS affecting certain people, especially those not quite mature by FAITHFUL standards; and yes, quite a few of these are younger, and impressionable...

At least PART of the FAULT lies in the hands of the Churches, and those TEACHING, or guiding; for they have NOT EFFECTIVELY dealt with matters which cause people to question, or doubt; such as the violence in THE OLD TESTAMENT, as if it were much different today!!!

IN THE FLESH, which IS self-inclined, MANY people do NOT like to hear that they should FEAR THE LORD, hence, they misinterpret HIS WAYS of leading Israel to the promised land(s)! Is this HIS fault? I mean really, IF a person is so set against having fear of HIM, is the fault they find within THE OLD TESTAMENT warranted, or is it aggravated by self-inclination, and self-absorption? After all, ISN'T the ROOT of all troubles in this world inspired BY the very same as the enemy, whom IS TOTALLY self-inclined, absorbed, and motivated? DON'T we have fault of our own IN what has played out since the first people, AND ARE we NOT those whose ways ARE violent, arrogant, aggressive, and negatively inclined as we IMAGINE our self to BE independent, and without NEED of THE LORD, and HIS WILL???

One HAS to understand the world back then, not that it is so far removed from today, yet there WERE differences for sure! There was WIDE SPREAD depravity, TOTAL REFUSAL OF THE LORD, a HUGE sense of entitlement, GREAT oppression OF the lesser established nations, violence, hatred, impudence, and all sorts of WRONG MINDED characteristics, and behaviours WHICH NEEDED to be taken care of, and which IN being taken care of CONTRIBUTED TO THE PLAN of SALVATION, VIA CHRIST JESUS; ALL WORKS TOGETHER TO FRUITION IN HIS PLAN, and HIS WILL SHALL BE DONE!!!

People cry out that HE killed too many, and that HIS means of removing the immoral, corrupt, and evil, was TOO harsh, but there IS great LOGIC in all which played out, albeit we might not EVER understand it completely, but FAITH says we TRY to, VOID of being offended BY HIS WILL, and WAYS! WHY do people THINK that ALL people ARE of THE KINGDOM, though originally all WERE? In this world there ARE Children of the enemy, you know?! There are those SO evil they CANNOT be saved, and well, NOT all people HAVE the heart of *GOD*!!!

GOT QUESTIONS offers some great insight concerning the violence in THE OLD TESTAMENT...

AGAIN, WE, in our lack of LOVE of *GOD*, and others, HAVE made the mess we live in; not that there hasn't been any influence by the evil one, HOWEVER, there is ONE ANSWER, and HIS NAME IS THE LORD *GOD* ALMIGHTY, SAVIOUR, and KING! We CAN CHOOSE to believe HIM, or not, we HAVE been given free will to do so, FOR the purpose of THE SINCERE being brought INTO THE KINGDOM, and all others facing a known fate AWAY from HIM, and HIS!!!

As the days of this Earth lessen, evil WILL increase, and WRONG INFLUENCE WILL work overtime to reach the hearts of the FAITHFUL, but the KNOWLEDGEABLE ARE PREPARED, and ENABLED to withstand the best shots of enmity, SO HELP US *GOD*, FOR IT IS HIS WILL!!!

Ah, SO many mountains created out of molehills, and by the unknowing, whom MIGHT have influence, but, are NOT correct, but CAN affect the minds, hearts, bodies, and souls of those who are NOT ANCHORED TO CHRIST!!!

Bottom line, if one turns away from THE LORD, HE might turn forever, from them, and would doing so be HIS fault? Choose CAREFULLY whom you will serve, there ARE ramifications that last eternally!!!

Let us NOT forget that when CHRIST walked the Earth, HE revised, and modified some of the ways of the past, such as NO eye for an eye, LOVE thy enemy, ALL VENGEANCE BELONGS TO *GOD*, and much more involving an IMPROVED ideal for Mankind to exist in on this plane, partly FOR the purpose of our being better enabled to serve HIM and others, without all the negatives found in previous generations, and to FURTHER THE TRUTH OF LOVE! One HAS to have CONTINUALLY DEEPENING knowledge, and understanding in order to SEE, and embrace the progression OF HIS WILL manifesting, FOR HIS GLORY, and our sake!!!

*GOD* IS GOOD, HE IS JUST, HE ALONE, IS HOLY, and KNOWS what HE is doing at ALL times, and so, IN TRUE FAITH, one HAS to TRUST HIM, RELY ON HIS WISDOM, and BELIEVE IN HIS TRUTH OF RIGHTEOUSNESS, THAT the stumbling blocks are lessened, and sense can be found as we trek through this valley of woes!!!
