HEAVENLY INCLINED...: REST, RELAX, RENEW, RESTORE: WEEKEND!!!

Thanksgiving for the LORD's Favor

Psalms 138 (A Psalm of David)
1/ I will praise thee with my whole heart: before the gods will I sing praise unto thee.
2/ I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy loving-kindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.
3/ In the day when I cried thou answeredst me, and strengthenedst me with strength in my soul.
4/ All the kings of the earth shall praise thee, O LORD, when they hear the words of thy mouth.
5/ Yea, they shall sing in the ways of the LORD: for great is the glory of the LORD.
6/ Though the LORD be high, yet hath he respect unto the lowly: but the proud he knoweth afar off.
7/ Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me: thou shalt stretch forth thine hand against the wrath of mine enemies, and thy right hand shall save me.
8/ The LORD will perfect that which concerneth me:
thy mercy, O LORD, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands... AMEN!!!

One CANNOT earn GRACE, it is HIS own ESSENCE; a gift, still, IF one claims to be IN HIS GRACE, we ARE to, or, OUGHT to, be reflections of that GRACE! 2 CORINTHIANS 6:1, tells us not to take HIS GRACE in vain! This means, living in LOVE, morality, ethics, virtue, righteousness, and, spiritual improvement, TOWARDS, spiritual maturity, WHILE, visibly BEING as LIGHTS, beaming OF *GOD*, beckoning the world, TO THE LIGHT! Righteousness MEANS, conduct in conformity with *GOD'S* WILL, and, "Be HOLY because I AM HOLY!", therefore, indicating that knowledge, wisdom, and, effort, DO, apply TO the righteous!!! NEVER forget, we were grafted in, and, if we do not bear fruit, as a dead branch, we will be pruned out, just as were, the natural branches!!!

We are not saved by works, instead, works PROVE HIM in us: they identify HIS own...

IF I claim ONENESS with *GOD*, through CHRIST JESUS, I am DEAD TO THE WORLD, THUS, LIVING as HIM, which is, hopefully, witnessed IN, and, THROUGH, my every thought, action, and, reaction; MEANING, I am, THROUGH CONSCIOUS application OF THE WORD, HIS COMMANDS, HIS WILL, REFLECTING righteousness, not, merely, FAITH! I become, the TRULY FRUITFUL branch, of THE VINE, the TRUE member of THE BODY/THE CHURCH, CHRIST JESUS, and, TESTIFY, then, GLORIFY, BOLDLY, BY my thoughts, actions, and, reactions, HIS name, because, HE IS WORTHY, and, IN HIS LOVE, has SHOWN me, how I OUGHT to exist, to which, I eagerly, adapt, and, comply!!!

MATTHEW 5:48...
So be perfect, just as your heavenly Father is perfect

1 PETER 1:14-16...
14/ Like obedient children, do not act in compliance with the desires of your former ignorance
15/ but, as he who called you is holy, be holy yourselves in every aspect of your conduct,
16/ for it is written, "Be holy because I (am) holy."

ROMANS 12:2...
Do not conform yourselves to this age but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and pleasing and perfect.

Conduct, in conformity to *GOD'S* WILL, marks the righteous; it is NOT because of guilt, or, ancient Laws, but, because of LOVE; LOVE for *GOD*, self, then, others! CHRIST JESUS gave us Commandments to live by, of which, the first is to LOVE *GOD*, with all of your mind, heart, and, soul; the second is, to LOVE one another!

LOVE COMPELS us to LIVE IN HIM, through conduct which conforms to *GOD*; in other words, morality, ethics, doing good, and, being good, and, ever striving to improve the spirit! It is about REFLECTING THE TRUTH, for ALL to bear witness to, FOR, and, TO HIS GLORY, RADIANTLY SHINING OF HIS POWER, GRACE, and, MERCIES!!!

It IS ALL ABOUT LOVE, baby, all about LOVE!!!

MATTHEW 4: 17...From that time on, Jesus began to preach and say, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand."

JOHN 14:15..."If you love me, you will keep my commandments.

NOTE: I do not intend to preach, rather to reach; to stir up, awaken, to inspire, and, bring forth, in discussion, that which is, perhaps, dormantly existing in the heart of hearts, thus, little, or, no, sugar coatings, just THE WORD of *GOD*, the TRUTH, along with some of my thoughts. And truth is, I am reminding myself always, as I practice these reminders, in the best of my abilities, and capacities, while RELYING on THE LORD to lead me on that narrow PATH---> MATTHEW 7: 14: "For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it... TO *GOD* BE ALL GLORY...

REST, RELAX, RENEW, RESTORE: WEEKEND!!!

Everyone NEEDS to be able to rest, to step back from the chaos, to relax, unwind, and take a long breather---
We are great at finding diversions to what we experience in this world; we have found countless ways to do so, and yet, most people don't find TRUE rest, or rejuvenation, BECAUSE they are using worldly means to do so...

ONLY THROUGH *GOD* can we find the PEACE which opens up to being able to step away from everything common to this world! ONLY THROUGH *GOD* can we find the ability to relax as we NEED to, and in doing so, find the will, and strength to move forward!!!

Partying, alcohol, drugs, and other means of seeking reprieve from the world, frankly, don't work, and in fact, often leave us with more anxiety, and troubles, for we use them in excess, which leads to us thinking, acting, and reacting in ways which cause more problems! You KNOW this, right? I mean really, anyone who has drank to excess, or whatever, HAS experienced the results of such!!!

MOST people are NOT able to do things in moderation; we just DON'T stop while we are ahead! And so, while we SEEM to be having a good time, and chillin', we ALWAYS pay in some way! And NONE of what we use to ease the being actually does, instead, we are left with physical, mental, and emotional issues that DON'T help us one iota!!!

The world teaches us ways contrary to our reality! It teaches us that we deserve to have fun, take it to the limit, and in whatever way seems to relieve the tensions accumulated...

*GOD* teaches us to TURN TO HIM IN PRAYER, FAITH, and FAITHFULNESS, which WILL lead us to TRUE PEACE, and necessary rest! When we turn our attention to HEALING THE spirit THROUGH HIM, the weight of the days past, lessens, and our beings are FREED by that which IS refreshing! It IS OBVIOUS that few believe this, or are willing to adapt to it, otherwise there would not be such an increase in using recreational means to quieting, and balancing the being!!!

We CAN'T escape the world on our shoulders as long as we KEEP adding the world to them! I KNOW it is difficult to understand, but honestly, as long as we do things in a worldly way, we are simply, heaping on more of the same, and increasing the worldly effects!!!

No, no, no, I don't like it no more, tired of waking up on floor; no thank you please, it only makes me sneeze, and then it makes it hard to find the door: a song by Ringo Starr, and YAH, me too! I have to say, after my days of experiencing the world, I didn't then, and to this day, don't, understand WHY we do things that make us feel like crap afterwards, even though we IMAGINE we are having, or had a great time! I DON'T want to have headaches, stomach aches, guilt, and all the other negatives associated with TRYING to let off steam! NO WAY! It just makes everything worse, and for a longer time!!!

Ahhhhh, we live, and HOPEFULLY, we learn! It IS optimal to grow UP, and to develop INTO TRUTH, which eases the being, from inside out, and outside in, and PROVIDES means to the comforts of PEACE!!!

A great number of people work all week, then they party all weekend, with even some partying, during the week, and eventually, it will take it's toll! They are NOT getting rest for the body, the mind, nor the spirit! From the Clergy, the elite, all the way through the ranks to the poor, humans spend a WHOLE LOTTA time seeking what IS going to fail them eventually!!!

WHERE is time spent on *GOD*? WHEN IS HE HONOURED? I KNOW, the world teaches us it is a done deal, and we have NO responsibility TO THE LORD, but REALLY? HAS anyone ever read THE BIBLE, or TAKEN the time to KNOW HIM, HIS WILL, HIS WAYS???

SEEK *GOD* WHILE there is this day, and SEEK HIM FIRST! FIND time FOR HIM, and make it SINCERE! Despite what the world would have us believe, ONLY *GOD* HAS ALL YOU NEED, and PROVIDES for us according to HIS WILL! ONLY HE IS THE AUTHOR, and FINISHER of CREATION, our souls, our rest, our everything! ONLY THE LORD can BRING PEACE, and all which accompanies it, and FILL our beings with what is right, just, and good FOR us! NOTHING in this realm HAS the power to do what HE DOES!!!

I have concluded, via my own time on this Earth, that since we are prone to excess, we ought to spend the excess ON THE LORD, instead of that which will get us nothing in the end! The world might say it is boring, or whatever, but there is NOTHING boring about THE LORD! HE IS FASCINATING, and HOLDS IN HIS POWERS even more than we see, or think we know, AND HIS HEART LEADS us to OPTIMIZATION in EVERY feasible way, therefore, there is nothing lost in TURNING TO HIM, BONDING WITH HIM, and HONOURING HIM, for HE IS FAITHFUL TO THOSE WHO LOVE HIM IN TRUTH, and SPIRIT!!!
