Thanksgiving for the LORD's Favor

Psalms 138 (A Psalm of David)
1/ I will praise thee with my whole heart: before the gods will I sing praise unto thee.
2/ I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy loving-kindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.
3/ In the day when I cried thou answeredst me, and strengthenedst me with strength in my soul.
4/ All the kings of the earth shall praise thee, O LORD, when they hear the words of thy mouth.
5/ Yea, they shall sing in the ways of the LORD: for great is the glory of the LORD.
6/ Though the LORD be high, yet hath he respect unto the lowly: but the proud he knoweth afar off.
7/ Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me: thou shalt stretch forth thine hand against the wrath of mine enemies, and thy right hand shall save me.
8/ The LORD will perfect that which concerneth me:
thy mercy, O LORD, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands... AMEN!!!

One CANNOT earn GRACE, it is HIS own ESSENCE; a gift, still, IF one claims to be IN HIS GRACE, we ARE to, or, OUGHT to, be reflections of that GRACE! 2 CORINTHIANS 6:1, tells us not to take HIS GRACE in vain! This means, living in LOVE, morality, ethics, virtue, righteousness, and, spiritual improvement, TOWARDS, spiritual maturity, WHILE, visibly BEING as LIGHTS, beaming OF *GOD*, beckoning the world, TO THE LIGHT! Righteousness MEANS, conduct in conformity with *GOD'S* WILL, and, "Be HOLY because I AM HOLY!", therefore, indicating that knowledge, wisdom, and, effort, DO, apply TO the righteous!!! NEVER forget, we were grafted in, and, if we do not bear fruit, as a dead branch, we will be pruned out, just as were, the natural branches!!!

We are not saved by works, instead, works PROVE HIM in us: they identify HIS own...

IF I claim ONENESS with *GOD*, through CHRIST JESUS, I am DEAD TO THE WORLD, THUS, LIVING as HIM, which is, hopefully, witnessed IN, and, THROUGH, my every thought, action, and, reaction; MEANING, I am, THROUGH CONSCIOUS application OF THE WORD, HIS COMMANDS, HIS WILL, REFLECTING righteousness, not, merely, FAITH! I become, the TRULY FRUITFUL branch, of THE VINE, the TRUE member of THE BODY/THE CHURCH, CHRIST JESUS, and, TESTIFY, then, GLORIFY, BOLDLY, BY my thoughts, actions, and, reactions, HIS name, because, HE IS WORTHY, and, IN HIS LOVE, has SHOWN me, how I OUGHT to exist, to which, I eagerly, adapt, and, comply!!!

MATTHEW 5:48...
So be perfect, just as your heavenly Father is perfect

1 PETER 1:14-16...
14/ Like obedient children, do not act in compliance with the desires of your former ignorance
15/ but, as he who called you is holy, be holy yourselves in every aspect of your conduct,
16/ for it is written, "Be holy because I (am) holy."

ROMANS 12:2...
Do not conform yourselves to this age but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and pleasing and perfect.

Conduct, in conformity to *GOD'S* WILL, marks the righteous; it is NOT because of guilt, or, ancient Laws, but, because of LOVE; LOVE for *GOD*, self, then, others! CHRIST JESUS gave us Commandments to live by, of which, the first is to LOVE *GOD*, with all of your mind, heart, and, soul; the second is, to LOVE one another!

LOVE COMPELS us to LIVE IN HIM, through conduct which conforms to *GOD*; in other words, morality, ethics, doing good, and, being good, and, ever striving to improve the spirit! It is about REFLECTING THE TRUTH, for ALL to bear witness to, FOR, and, TO HIS GLORY, RADIANTLY SHINING OF HIS POWER, GRACE, and, MERCIES!!!

It IS ALL ABOUT LOVE, baby, all about LOVE!!!

MATTHEW 4: 17...From that time on, Jesus began to preach and say, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand."

JOHN 14:15..."If you love me, you will keep my commandments.

NOTE: I do not intend to preach, rather to reach; to stir up, awaken, to inspire, and, bring forth, in discussion, that which is, perhaps, dormantly existing in the heart of hearts, thus, little, or, no, sugar coatings, just THE WORD of *GOD*, the TRUTH, along with some of my thoughts. And truth is, I am reminding myself always, as I practice these reminders, in the best of my abilities, and capacities, while RELYING on THE LORD to lead me on that narrow PATH---> MATTHEW 7: 14: "For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it... TO *GOD* BE ALL GLORY...

WEDNESDAY'S WISDOM...

We should be listening to THE LORD *GOD*, for HE ALONE, WAS, IS, and EVERMORE SHALL BE, while all else, and everyone is temporal---

HE designed, and manifested ALL IN CREATION! HE brought forth ALL which is right, just, good, and HOLY! HE ALONE, IS the source of WISDOM, KNOWLEDGE, UNDERSTANDING, PROVISION, BENEVOLENCE, and ALL one needs to make it home to HIM! NOTHING in this world, unless it is rooted, and anchored IN HIM has any worthwhile, or lasting power, for ALL POWER IS HIS, and ALWAYS SHALL BE! Thus, our ears OUGHT to be trained to listen to HIM, and our eyes OPEN UNTO HIM, and our hearts UNITED WITH HIM, and HIS WILL; otherwise, we are as all else, as stubble for a future date...

There are roughly 90 BIBLE verses pointing to our NEED to listen to, and to heed THE LORD *GOD*! In doing so a great number of POSITIVES are invoked, for others, and for us, but especially FOR HIS GLORY, in which HIS own share! Listening and heeding HIM LEADS us past all which intends to take us! SUPERNATURALLY HE protects, provides, heals, restores, secures, and SO much more, which without proper understanding, and embracing OF HIS WILL, WAYS, and WORD, ignorance, and dangers prevail, and increase...

Our ENTIRE WELL-BEING resides IN HIM, and HIS WILL, although, in our free will, we have the option to heed HIM, or not! HE is seeking those who seek HIM; those WILLING to hear HIM, see HIM, and align to HIM, though there remains HOPE for those who have so far not done so! HIS LOVE HAS to forward of itself, and then, from those who have found ONENESS IN HIM! It IS with MIGHTY, and DIVINE PURPOSE that we pay close attention to, and obey HIM, for there are souls to be saved, and a long, long PATH to THE KINGDOM, riddled with enmity of every kind, ever intense, and determined!!!

Those who are attentive to HIM, HE grants PEACE to, which further equips the being to endure, persevere, and overcome! It is a FREEDOM to find such PEACE that quiets the stirrings aroused while journeying through the valley! In this freeing PEACE we are MORE enabled, enriched, endowed, enlightened, empowered, and encouraged THROUGH RELIANCE, and TRUST IN HIM; PEACE ACCOMPANIES a developing, growing, and established FAITH, and FAITHFULNESS, as we KNOW without doubt, our LORD *GOD*, KING, SAVIOUR, and HOLY SPIRIT IS THE TRUTH, and WAY ETERNAL!!!

We CAN'T be LED if we don't open UP TO HIM, which involves a whole new mentality, allegiance, and diligence to procuring, which we CANNOT recognize, acknowledge, or adapt to on our own; ONLY HE CAN BEGIN, and EXPAND that necessary TOWARDS our REBIRTH, REGENERATION, and TRANSFORMATION! Thus we HAVE to hear HIM, feel HIM, see HIM in order to BE WITH HIM, now and evermore! The ancients did NOT choose to, and so, WE were GIVEN the GIFT which we OUGHT REVERE with ALL we have, because LOVE HAS CHOSEN us!!!

This world is full of clamour, noise, and EVERY distraction imaginable TO KEEP HIS people anxious, confused, distraught, and negatively motivated, THAT the enemy might cunningly, trip, trap, and chain us, AND SO, we NEED to clear the heart, the mind, the eyes, and the senses of everything NOT OF *GOD*, and PRAY to be FILLED WITH HIM, body, mind, and spirit, THAT we CAN SERVE HIM, others, and ultimately, our very souls!!!

Be still and quiet, and wait and listen for an answer to the above request from the Lord, who speaks by his providences, word, and Spirit; see Habakkuk 2:1, for he will speak peace unto his people, and to his saints; as he does in his word, which is the Gospel of peace; and by his ministers, who bring the good tidings of it, and publish it; and by the blood and righteousness of his Son, which both procure, call for, and produce it; and by his Spirit, the fruit of which is peace: it is an answer of peace, or of good and comfortable words, that the Lord returns to his people sooner or later; and it is only to his own people he speaks peace, to his covenant ones, with whom the covenant of peace is made; and to his saints, his Holy Ones, whom he has set apart for himself, and sanctified by his Spirit.

MARK 4: 24...
And He was saying to them, "Take care what you listen to. By your standard of measure it will be measured to you; and more will be given you besides.

These declarations were intended to call the attention of the disciples to the word of Christ. By his thus instructing them, they were made able to instruct others; as candles are lighted, not to be covered, but to be placed on a candlestick, that they may give light to a room. This parable of the good seed, shows the manner in which the kingdom of God makes progress in the world.

Let but the word of Christ have the place it ought to have in a soul, and it will show itself in a good conversation. It grows gradually: first the blade; then the ear; after that the full corn in the ear. When it is sprung up, it will go forward. The work of grace in the soul is, at first, but the day of small things; yet it has mighty products even now, while it is in its growth; but what will there be when it is perfected in heaven!
